The house is in a gorgeous location, 5 minutes drive from the wonderful cliff walks and lighthouse, and with plenty of restaurants very close. We could not have been happier.

Casa muito pitoresca e bem conseguida. O anfitrião e as pessoas que nos davam suporte foram sempre atenciosos e preocupados. Tínhamos todas as comodidades, tal como se estivéssemos em casa. Toalhas de banho e praia, papel higiénico, detergentes da loiça e roupa, sacos do lixo, tudo ao nosso dispor. Aconselhamos!

Die sehr geräumige Wohnung über 2 (mit Dachterrasse 3) Etagen ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Sie verfügt über einen Kaminofen, der per Fernbedienung ein–und ausgeschaltet werden kann, was bei unserem Besuch im November abends notwendig war. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Es gibt einen kleinen Garten und insgesamt 3 Terrassen. Sie liegt sehr ruhig direkt an einem Golfplatz. Den Swimmingpool der Anlage keine Note man auch nutzen. Wir haben uns dort 8 Tage außerordentlich wohl gefühlt. Die Informationen des Besitzers waren ausführlich und hilfreich. Ein Verwalter war jederzeit zu erreichen und stand uns stets freundlich und zuverlässig zur Seite, wenn notwendig. Das Quartier ist sehr zu empfehlen.

We had nearly 2 weeks here in March, a delightful time to visit the Algarve. The condo is on the end of a 3 unit block and consequently very quiet and bright. We were met by the property manager who gave a full orientation and suggestions for dining and shopping. It had everything you might need including a maid service during the week! You can dine inside, on the attached deck or on the roof top terrace. Parking was a breeze and the views south dramatic. It's on the 4th hole of the golf course. One of the neat features is the overwhelming warmth and welcoming of the owner, Michael Evans from the UK. He is wonderfully gracious.

Thoroughly enjoyable stay, in a great area

The villa is perfectly situated near Carvoriero, grocery stores, beaches... Community is elegantly situated on the Minho golf course. The patio situated right outside the dining area is perfect for early evening relaxing with golf course trees providing privacy. We arrived mid Feb and found the villa quite cool. Both the owner Michael and his property manager Ulf were very kind and helpful.

Mike's villa truly is a home from home. It is spotless, comfortable and well equipped. We had a wonderful week there, along with our daughter and her boyfriend. Mike was very attentive to all the enquiries we sent prior to leaving. The surroundings are stunning and the pool was a great addition. There are three fabulous, separate areas outside to enjoy - the garden, dining patio and amazing roof garden. So, if you're bringing family in their twenties, you can still have plenty of privacy in separate areas.For our purposes, there was nothing to fault this stunning property. After a very stressful year, the week spent here was just what the doctor ordered. Ulf was also very helpful and welcoming. What else can I say - we'll be back! (P.S. the bottle of wine was a lovely touch - much appreciated!) Thank you!

The accommodation was clean and tidy Quiet location but within easy reach of all amenities

We have just come to the end of a weeks stay in Carvoeiro. Fantastic villa, great golf at Pinta and Gramacho and fantastic food. Loved the cliff top walks, spectacular scenery. Will definitely be back and would love to stay in this villa again.

My wife, 2 children and myself enjoyed a fantastic 2 week stay in this property at the beginning of July. Prior to arriving i had read the extensive list of facilties that the property has but the one item I had noticed that wasn't on that list was a cool box. On mentioning this to Mike (the owner) he very kindly organised for Ulf the property manager to arrange one for our arrival.This villa lacks nothing ! It is a proper home from home with every facility you could possibly need for a relaxing stay. The wifi speed is the best that I have ever encountered in a private rental. It proved extremely useful in the evening when my children were able to seamlessly stream videos on their tablets. The piped music system was excellent. We connected our ipad in the living room and could choose to listen to music in every room or individual rooms depending on our requirements. We also made use of the BBQ on the terrace which came supplied with charcoal and fire lighters. The property had just been painted prior to our arrival and during the course of the our stay we witnessed the painters at other adjacent properties. The whole Golfemar complex is immaculately maintained. The garden and lawns were beautifully manicured and the grass around the pool was cut during our stay. Though I must say that this was either done late at night or first thing in the morning as we never witnessed it being cut. The pool area is one of the nicest we have ever seen. As previous guests have commentated the whole complex is extremely quiet and even during July we were quite often the only ones making use of the pool. The situation of the property is ideal as it is within a few minutes walk of the superb Lighthouse restaurant and 5 minutes drive from the centre of Carvoeiro.The only slight issue to arise during our entire stay was one morning when the electricity went off. I rang Ulf straight away and within 10 minutes he was at the door. He got the electricity on immediately and found out that the problem lay with a faulty kettle. Within a short space of time he returned with a brand new kettle and after that we never had any other issues.This gave us great peace of mind knowing that there was always someone on hand to resolve any problems we might have. Both Mike and Ulf were easily contactable. I would have no hesitation in recommending this villa to friends and family and would hope to return in the future. A big thank you once again to Mike and Ulf for all your help.

We stayed for a week and friends joined us after a couple of days. Fantastic villa very quiet and has everything thing you need for a perfect get away. Clean modern and tidy. Close to some nearby restaurants and the 9 hole golf course but within 8 minutes drive you are in the coastal town of Carvoeiro and the many extremely good places to eat and relax. Enjoyed every minute of our stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the villa to friends. Could well return very soon.

Very nice villa would have liked to have stoped longer. Have stayed in this area on three occasions now and this has to be my favorite. Im sure who ever books will be happy with the choice.

We arrived before mid-day just as the cleaners were leaving, and property manager Ulf and his delightful family showed us round this well maintained property in a lovely quiet area. The house is very comfortable, well furnished with plenty of good quality utensils, crockery and cook wear. Lovely quality 100% cotton bedding, and brand new beach towels were available for our use. The pool area, just a short walk down the road is lovely, there are 2 private sunbeds available for your use though the grass is very soft too! The pool, which you can walk into, is very clean and well maintained and gets little use from the other residents. Unless you are quite fit, and although local Taxi's are quite reasonable a car is really essential, it is a long hot 3km walk to Carvoeiro, The nearest small supermarket and bars / restaurants are in walking distance near the Rocha Brava resort and there are large supermarkets a few minutes away by car on the main road towards Lagoa. Without a car you will also miss the delights of the local Smugglers beach, and trips to Ferragudo, Portimao and Silves, and also the gastronomic feasts at the many small restaurants in the villages and towns nearby. The only noise you will hear is the occasional rattle of clubs, from passing Golfers on the path behind the house, down to the fourth tee on the adjacent golf course and one evening there was live music at the nearby lighthouse bar and it was very pleasant to sit on the balcony at the Villa and listen! The roof terrace is lovely, very sheltered with great views over the Golf course. There are 2 sunbeds on the roof terrace and two more on the patio outside the bedrooms, so plenty of space to chill. Perfect place for a relaxing family or couples holiday. Thank you Mike & Carma for letting us stay in your beautiful holiday home.

This is a lovely townhouse in a wonderfully quiet location on a small well kept complex. There are some great restaurants within 10 minutes walk, two good supermarkets within 5 minutes drive - soon to be a third which is just being completed, and some great beaches nearby. and only 5 minutes drive from Carvoeiro. The townhouse is well equipped with two good sized bedrooms and two good bathrooms. Everything you need for a good holiday.

Stayed in this villa for 8 nights it was in a lovely quiet location and had everything you could possibly want for a perfect holiday.The pool was a perfect place to relax and enjoy a nice swim.We found some lovely beaches and restaurant but one of our favourites was O Stop which was just down the road the food was lovely and you could sit and watch the sun go down, and the prices were very reasonable.In the village itself there is a lovely coffee shop at the top of the hill where breakfast is excellent with plenty of choice and also very reasonable.We also visited Ferragudo where there is a lovely beach and also in the village square there are some good restaurants.We also enjoyed a boat trip from the the beach at Benegil which takes you all round the caves.We really had a lovely holiday and will return in the future.

This villa has it all for the price. Located in Vale de Milho overlooking 4th tee of golfcourse with same name and within 5 mins drive of Gramacho championship course and several others also nearby. The owners are very meticulous and go out of their way to ensure your passage is a trouble free one. The villa is immaculate and well provided for including BBQ and golf clubs. Only 10 mins walk to nearest beach,there are so many beautiful beaches to see. all a short distance away'including carvoeiro. 5 mins drive to Aldi supermarket. Portimao 15 mins drive, has one of the finest fish markets we have ever seen together with vegetable and meat market and many other produce at very keen prices indeed. Lagos is a town close by which is very reasonable for wining and dining out. There are water parks for children and other entertainment areas. There is just so much to do and explore. This has been one of our best holidays to date. People are friendly and some of the best food on the planet. A well sited property. Thank you. Jim and Ginny
