The property is a nice big bungalow in an upscale (but out of the main town) area with a pretty swimming pool & A nice garden. The staff- Yousuf & Margha were also polite & very helpful. There are 4 bedrooms on the first floor which are quite spacious. There are more bedrooms on the ground floor & in the basement which we did not use .

The hygiene was frankly disappointing. The property was dusty when we first entered which caused an allergic reaction in my daughter. Also one of the 4 bedrooms on the first floor had 3 big patches of damp which again caused a reaction in my friends. Some of the bedsheets had marks . The bedsheets & linen were changed after day 1 & the house was cleaned . The dust reduced but did not go away completely . Also the damp remained as it was . As communicated to Alexandre we came back one day to find that the door to the pool would not lock as the key had jammed . Appreciate that we were in a gated community with it's own security but it felt odd to sleep in a new place when we could not lock all the doors. Got fixed after a couple of days . A storm on a subsequent day caused atleast 3 windows & a balcony door to swing open as they could not be latched due to broken latches. These were shown to the caretaker Yousuf . The furniture is very old & 2 of the dressing tables are broken . The sofa covers look old & the ones on the seating around the pool area are torn . Given the upkeep of the place we did not have the confidence to use the swimming pool . Also the caretaker not being able to converse in English was a challenge . For the price that was charged, this stay was way below our expectations . A pity as with the right furnishings & upkeep this could have been a great property .

Great size place. Alex very friendly. Connections with people like Taxi into the city and the airport. Pool was amazing and clean.

Party member burned her arm on a shower mixer tap, told the maintenance guy to try sort to prevent future injury.

A little far out of the town , and a hand rail around. The pool would have been great but not a huge problem .

Pictures do the villa no justice. Rooms and beds are huge in every room, ensuites in all rooms and separate toilets. Kitchen facilities were fantastic and really came in handy. Pool area and living area were our favourite areas of the villa.

Security for the gated community really made us feel like we were not welcome. Although this had nothing to do with our host, it did dampen our mood every time we went through security. They will not allow anyone into the area without having notice previously and will not allow pool partys, or girls in the area. The resort area is called Amelikis, and is a affluent area. Amenities are limited so you will need to travel into the city, which approximately 20/30 minutes drive.

Spaciousness and great pool.

Rat poo everywhere behind beds and sofa. Very dusty like it hadn’t been cleaned. Found a rat running around after we got back from dinner. Had a gas leak during the stay even though we showed the person in house maintenance person. He then turned it off. We had not even used it and leaked on its own! Didn’t get let in by the gates in first 20 mins they said stay somewhere else even though it was fully paid for. We was here to enjoy but a-lot of stress on what was supposed to be a great trip. pics show the rat poo

A beautiful villa overall with everything you need on holiday, close to everything and the staff are lovely, very clean and the swimming pool is great
