The room was clean and nice
The 2 gals at the front desk were not too nice. Didn’t acknowledge me for 5 minutes while one was on the phone and the other just stood there and didn’t even look up. I went and sat down on the couch. Finally got up and asked if someone Could check me in. Neither said they were sorry for the wait.

Grand stay is beautiful and clean! It's the nicest hotel we've found near Peever SD. This is where we will be staying anytime we come to visit! Thank you!

Milbank has long needed a more upscale hotel. Grandstay meets the need very well.
Price quoted online seemed high. Actual price was a pleasant surprise. The quoted price could have driven me away.

The breakfast would rate the lowest score. Lots of packaged stuff. I don't eat meat so I really couldn't do much with the breakfast. Not a lot of fruit selection. Breakfast was sort of ... here, be glad you go some. Room and bed were clean and comfortable.
They don't service the room unless you specifically request it upon check-in.

We were not advised that towel service would be on request only. A “mountain” of towels accumulated.
Same is true with trash. We would have been comfortable with asking for service had we known we would be expected to ask.

Very appealing decor and very clean. Picked this while we were on the road and we’re not disappointed at all. So nice to have a great place to stay for a last minute decision.

The floor of the shower gets slippery when wet might put something down there to stop the slippery floor so nobody falls

The breakfast was good and adequate. Facility clean and inviting.

The staff is exceptional. The general manager was incredibly helpful and a pleasure to work with.
Breakfast is making a come back, but this breakfast wasn't very good. They kept running out of items and coffee. Coffee. You can't run out of coffee. The items that they had we very limited so it was glaring when they ran out.
