The apartment was as described. An amazing perfect mixing of modern, quality, sleek interior within a lovely high-ceiling building from Hungary’s historic epoch. Stefano was conscientious in responding to all questions. There was a small delay due to his having had to go abroad for a shot period. The property was perfect for us, the location is close to one of the main shopping areas , with lots of restaurants too. We could walk to almost everything,, we did take a taxis across to Buda, only because we were hot! Thank you

Traditional, but updated Hungarian flat in a perfect location for either exploring central Pest, or walking across the bridge to the Gellert baths in Buda. Thanks for a brilliant trip.

Our stay in the wonderful city of Budapest was even more special as we looked forward to coming "home" to this lovely apartment at the end of each day. The location is ideal for seeing the Pest side of the city and both tram and metro are just a few minutes from the apartment for exploring further afield. The Central Market and grocery stores are minutes away as well. Beyond the location, though, the apartment is beautifully appointed and comfortable for two couples. The pdf and video provided by Stefano in advance made the check-in process easy and the information about the apartment was so thorough that a guest would have no questions at all. Stefano kindly arranged for us to drop our luggage off several hours before we checked in. He has earned his premier host status. We would return in a heartbeat.

As an architect, I must say this was a very well designed and managed property. It was a real pleasure to return to such a lovely apartment after exploring Budapest. Very comfortable and quiet and the refined design helped make our trip feel special. Very central for walking or catching transit. Check-in was super easy with the video and pdf provided. We had no issues so we didn't message Stefano very much but any communication was prompt and friendly. We hope to return and stay here again. Thank you Stefano!

We are a family of three who stayed in the property for a week as part of summer Europe trip from the US. I would recommend the flat to others as a place to stay. Here are my comments about the property in terms of pros and cons. Pros: 1. Comfortable and well furnished flat. We slept well on the beds. The bathrooms were well set up. Wifi worked fine. 2. Good support and communications from Stefano and his manager Lazslo. If we needed something they handled it promptly. 3. Good but not great location. The flat is one block off the Vaci pedestrian street and one block off the Danube on the Pest side of the river. There are some scenic spots in the area. However, you are at the quiet end of the Vaci and maybe one district down from the livelier area of Pest. You are also a little walk away from metro/tram stops. 4. Flat had a good galley kitchen with nespresso and coffee pods. You need to do an inventory though and go to the store if you want to cook much. Cons: 1. The second bedroom gets hot in the summer due to the one a/c unit being in the living room. 2. No onsite parking if you care about that. 3. Patio is small and gets hot fairly early in the day in the summer so it’s really only useful early morning or later evening. Bottom line: We enjoyed the flat and would definitely recommend it to others. The owners were helpful and it’s a nice place to stay.

We spent two full weeks exploring and enjoying Budapest. The location of this home away is ideal. Central Market, many great restaurant choices, public transportation a few blocks away, everything is within easy reach. Could not have been better location for us. The Space is very comfortable. Everything we needed, beds comfortable. Spaces updated, clean and just as it shows in the photos. We would absolutely stay there again, and totally recommend it. Loved the sights and sounds of this city. Hope to return in the future

Stephano and his team went out of their way to make us comfortable, including meeting us at 3am to let us in when our train was 5 hours delayed!

Very nice property in the prime of Budapest. Lovely apartment with convenient and quiet location. Enjoyable stay and Stefano was a pleasure to deal with. Extra toiletries for 5 days for 4 adults would have been nice however.

We had an amazing time in Budapest. Giovanni was friendly and helpful. Stefano was responsive online. The apartment was in a great location near the Danube and a block away from pedestrian Váci Utca. Decor is gorgeous. We used the small balcony often. Good restaurants near by. Overall very positive experience!

We were visiting Budapest for our first time and the apartment was great. It is just like the pictures, very spacious, finished very nicely, very clean and in great condition. We would give it five stars but for the area rug in the living room with stains which would be easy to replace and the beds which were very hard. Stefano arranged for an airport taxis which made it much easier to get in to the City and meet with Giovanni for the check in. Giovanni was great and made the check-in easy with a good orientation for our stay. The apartment is in a great location to access all of the City's attractions and endless number of good restaurants. An Indian restaurant called Rajkot Palace just three blocks away was superb and a great experience and Trattoria Pomo D'Oro close to the four seasons was our other favourite restaurant. Having heard such great reviews of Chef Cafe across the street from the apartment we tried it one night for dinner but unfortunately were very disappointed with the quality of the food although the staff were very friendly and the restaurant has a great atmosphere. In addition to all the fantastic architecture and sights of the City, the open roof top bar at the Hotel Clark has spectacular views of the Chain Bridge and the Parliament, a great atmosphere, music and drinks. Well worth a drink or two. All in all, a great trip to a beautiful City.

The location it couldn’t be much better. Walking distance to many restaurants the central market as well as the baths. Extremely modern and well kept and well appointed.

We've just returned from a 7 night stay at this apartment and we all agreed that it was exactly as described and as shown in the photographs. The location is excellent and is central to all of the tourist attractions - most attractions are within walking distance but we did make use of the trams and metro, especially the number 2 tram which runs along the riverside and has some great views. The apartment has everything that you could need of you were self catering and we made use of the washing machine several times as we only took hand luggage. The communication with Stefano was excellent and we were greeted by Giovanni on arrival despite the fact that we were over an hour late with a flight delay and slow baggage reclaim. Overall we had a great week's stay and I would highly recommend the apartment to anyone wanting to visit this beautiful city.

The flat is very well designed, furnished, appointed, supplied, and equipped. Very comfortable for three people. It's also well priced. Very good lighting and ventilation; we never had to use the air conditioning. Security was good. Generally quiet (a bit city-noisy in the 6:00-8:00 am timeframe). The bedrooms (beds), bathrooms, kitchen, and laundry facilities are excellent. We especially appreciated that the shower doors do not leak! There were plentiful (very good) towels and bed linens. The flat is wonderfully located for public transport: trams, Metro, and busses. Taxify had no problem finding the apartment (or destinations). Easy access to Buda. Close to most Pest tourist attractions. The location is one block from the Danube, (lots of restaurants and cafes) and one block from a major pedestrian street, Váci utica, (lots of restaurants and cafes). The Central Market and a good bakery are nearby at Fövám ter; there is a good bodega next door (coffee, tea, wine,etc.), a grocery around the corner, and an excellent restaurant (Chef Cafe) across the street (reservations essential). Giovanni gave an excellent introduction to the flat. The airport transfers, both arriving and departing worked very well and were reasonably priced. We highly recommend.

Very nice apartment, tastefully decorated . Well equipped kitchen. I would certainly stay there again. A few things I would have liked to have known: the neighborhood can be noisy at night which is a problem if you like to sleep with the windows open. The pillows are polyester (not my preference). The bath products provided are generic—bring your own if you are picky. No wash cloth—bring your own if you use one. There is an elevator, but for some mystifying reason it requires a flight of stairs to reach it, so if you have a problem carrying your own suitcase you will need help taking it up or down a flight upon arrival and departure.

My family and I (two adults and two teenage children) were fortunate to find this apartment on VRBO and absolutely loved staying there during our week in Budapest. Stefano was extremely helpful and always replied promptly to all requests, including last minute arrival changes. We took Stefano's advice and had a taxi driver meet us at the airport, which was wonderful because he took us directly to the apartment, where Giovanni was waiting to greet us. The whole arrival process was seamless! Now for the apartment, it is located one block off the Vací Utca,which is the main pedestrian walking district through Budapest, and one block the other way is the Danube. The location couldn't have been more perfect. The apartment itself is beautifully decorated with ultra modern bathrooms and kitchen. We had everything we could have wanted and more. There is a charming balcony off the living room which is a nice place to sit for a few minutes in the morning. Overall, Stefano and Giovanni made our once in a lifetime trip to Budapest very memorable in the most positive way! Molto Grazi!

A lovely respite apartment steps away from the Vaci utcā with great architectual finishes in a soft, relaxing pallet. Espesially appreciated the ergonomic-designed faucets, shower heads, cabinetry, and appliances. The balconey area was sweet. Would definitely return. Nearby marketplace with its beautuful bounty and restaurant Fatal with its generous portions to carry “home” became quick favorites. Nothing is lacking here.
