Gorgeous and great location

Big, clean spacious apartment! Perfect location. Two beautiful balconies to sit on and have coffee or a drink! Everything you needed was there (except for a toaster, but could use oven). Washing machine was a great surprise as we didn’t think there was one; came in very handy.

Despite being in a great location, it is on a main road and is extremely loud at night, especially the motorcycles. Only starts to quiet down around 5am, to start up again by 8am. No mirrors in the bedrooms :( This would be very helpful. The bedrooms are huge and there is more than enough room to add a wall mirror/or add one inside the wardrobes.

it was very old and typically Italian, but it was beautifully updated. The beds were comfortable and the hostess was lovely and helpful.

Not far from public transportation to explore Amalfi coast, Pompeii ruins. An beautiful and well equipped apartment. Close to super market

Located on busy street and have a lot of traffic noise

Location is great. Apartment is large and comfortable. 2 bedrooms providing privacy; each with a queen size bed (hard to find). All needed amenities available. Feels very inviting. Host is very accommodating and welcoming.

Bedrooms need a mirror. Washing machine did not always work. Seal on shower door needs replacement - water on the floor after shower being used.

The house was very beautiful, comfortable and centrally located. We forgot a personal item at home and than the host sent it to us without any problem.

Very central. Ideal location. Very safe. Great spots to eat, shop, drink. The old city was much prettier than the new. The hosts were lovely.

Bin in bathroom was full, dishwasher full of dirty dishes but this felt like an oversight as the rest of the apartment was cleaned to a high standard.

Great owners. My wife was injured during holliday and they were very helpfull. They took care about us all the time.

Everything was OK

This is a lovely, comfortable 2 bed 1 bathroom apartment on the 3rd floor in a great location near to fabulous shops, bars, seafront, old town. Very clean. We loved the decor..traditional with some modern twists. The apartment has everything you need. There are two little balconies which are great for watching the world go by. It is on a busy street but it'sfine, they have double glazing and noise cancelling shutters.

There was nothing not to like.

Beautifully decorated flat in the very centre of Salerno. Fantastic location, and very comfortable and well equipped. The host has been helpful and good at communication; she let us check out late while we waited for our plane. Would definitely recommend.

The street below can get quite noisy with car horns and scooters at times. While this is not a problem for most people and it's not as bad with the windows closed, it might not be ideal if you're a light sleeper.

The location

Private garage closed after 22 and Sunday so you can’t get the car whenever you need. The Coffe machine was very dirty.

We really loved the flat. Very clean, very nice. Great location... smack in the middle of everything: minutes from the sea front, from the main corso (shopping alley and promenade), minutes away from the train station, bus. 10 mins to ferry terminal. The old town again, within a few minutes walk on the main corso. A really special place, two balconies, lots of restaurants, terraces and bars around... shopping very very close. The apartment has a lot of character, as you can easily see from the pictures.

The only two things I would add as probably necessary in a place like this: 1. A washing machine (we stayed for 10 days and felt the need for one. I would really suggest they get one. 2. Mirrors. Very surprisingly, there are no mirrors in the house, apart from the one in the bathroom. There should be a big mirror in every bedroom and one in the hallway. If you want to get out for a nice dinner, you need one. These would me the only downside remarks from us.

The apartment came with almost everything you need for one week stay. It was clean. Wifi worked perfectly. It was about 10 minutes walk from both Salerno central and Duomo station. There were many bars, cafes, shops and interesting sights nearby. The interior design was wonderfully quarky and I liked it.

The apartment was facing a busy road so we heard a lot of noise from traffic and occasional people screaming (especially on the weekend). But this is somewhat associated with being in a convenient location. It didn't bother us too much but if you are looking for a quiet holiday then maybe this place is not for you...
