Perfect location, close to ferry, main shopping street and bus stops. Has Italian breakfast included in a bar closeby! Good instructions how to get there received before checkin. Good communication with host.

Firstly the instructions provided were voice notes through a WhatsApp message which we found not clear and unprofessional. We also arrived into Salerno at 9:30am and wanted to drop our bags off which you would be able to do at no cost at any hotel and air bnb’s. Instead we were told we had to drop them off at a cafe nearby and had to pay 3 euro per bag. The lady at the counter in the cafe was arrogant and rude and treated us poorly. She was not welcoming and spoke to us as though we were a burden to her. When we checked in to our room, we did not expect it to look like a BnB. It stated ‘luxury penthouse’ and this was far from that. We did not feel comfortable and felt that it did not look like the images on booking.com. The shower head was inappropriate for the size of the shower which resulted in pooling of water within the shower. We were not impressed with the whole place. A plus was that it was central to the port.

The breakfast was small

Our host was very helpful. He was flexible with our arrival time (train was delayed) and left thorough instructions for self check in. He also checked in with us during our stay to see if we needed anything. The included breakfast was from the corner cafe just steps away and was delicious. This was a perfect home base for our day trips to Amalfi/Positano/Path of the Gods and Capri. The balcony was perfect for hanging out in the evenings. Just lovely, 11/10! We would definitely stay there again.

it is a fraud… they call it penthouse, luxury, etc… we booked 65 m2 place… we got 20m2 with 45m2 balkony

Great location! it’s close to all the public transport locations. The rooms and the view are amazing. The concierge service is exceptional Angelo was very helpful with suggestions and answering any questions I had about the area.

I wish there were more options for breakfast. There were only pastries, coffee, & juice. My expectations could be skewers due to the large meals we are accustomed to in the US, perhaps there are some cultural differences in that regard.

We stayed in the classic suite which was perfect for us. We had a lovely terrace off our room but sadly we could not use it due to being a rainy day. Our check-in was handled by Angelo online. He sent us a video of where to get the keys and how to get into our suite. It was very straight forward and easy to understand. Angelo, also, gave us recommendations for a restaurant for dinner which was excellent. He was very helpful and quick to answer our questions. We would highly recommend Mareluna Suites for a stay in Salerno.

We really appreciated the customer care shown by Angelo, the manager/owner of the apartment. He listened to our suggestions and responded superbly. The apartment is located very near the train station and the marina. We walked for a couple of minutes and we were at the central street with shops, cafes, and bars. Very convenient.
