The location of the hotel is ideal and it looked great on pictures

Cutlery and crockery was dirty. The one room didn’t have a blanket and upon requesting one, it was dirty. The room that had a blanket had a dirty one. The bathroom floors were dirty and even sticky😟😟😟😟😟

I did like the bed TV Bathroom The room it was very clean

The bar fridge it's very small, Then one chair and it was for two people booking Toiletries it wasn't satisfied they way at the reception told me

Cleanliness was not 100%

The rooms were super small. They didn't include shower gel or bathing soaps. Their shower did not have power. Water was coming out in less number.

I arrived at the property around 7pm, my other colleagues had already booked the rooms at the hotel for themselves, I heard that there was no water at the other side of the hotel so I decided to wait, around 9pm got a message that water is now available, about 10pm made my bookings here at booking.com @10:32pm paid for my room R750, when I got to the room found that the water 💧 was cold, I ignored it as it was reported earlier that the water just came back, then in the morning when I wake up there was no change the water, reported to the reception at around 7am did follow 3 times but no action taken, around 9am decided to go to the reception and seek help, to my surprise it seems like the whole side of the hotel had same problem as many guests were in need of hot water, I asked for the hotel manager and came a sales marketing lady pretending to be a manager, when relayed my problem to her she was so rude as if we were just mere people to her, with other guests we learnt that the geyser issue was not a new problem to them it has been like that for a while as they continued booking guests to the affected rooms, what angered me is that I paid for my room at 10:32pm while the hotel staff processing my booking was well aware of the problem and didn't even bother to alert me about it, to me that seemed to be a scam what Pretoria Hotel is doing to its clients I didn't enjoy the R750 I paid for my rest place after a long day trip. One of the receptionists even acknowledged that the hotel was scamming guests as they clearly knew about the geyser problem in place. It's the worst hotel I ever utilized its services I won't recommend you to book the place as I can just classify it under just normal Bnb instead of a hotel, again we were booked at room 527 to my surprise the kettle was so dirty inside to an extent that I nearly vomited when opening it.

The place is safe and clean.

I didnt eat the breakfast, I went to the restaurant they told me I need to book a day before

The rooms seemed clean, all to find out I couldnt sleep because of coackroaches, dancing on my bed. Another thing I left my IPAD charger in the room. I called the receptionist they said I must phone tomorrow for housekeeping, until the person booked the room called them and told them there is a charger in the room

The staff is very unfriendly.I had called the Hk to assist in getting sugar for us in the morning and i was told to go look for someone from HK outside instead.Beautiful hotel but the staff needs to be worked on especially with customer care.When i arrived i had just come from traveling the world and i picked the hotel missing the feeling of being in my own country but I was really disappointed. The staff is what makes the Hotel a hotel not the actual building.Improvement on that would make a huge difference.

The staff was exceptional. The facilities were fantastic and rooms very clean. Good value for money.

The bar didn't have stock and almost left unattended most often.

There are cockroaches in the rooms and the breakfast was the worst breakfast.

There were doves inside the ceiling, extremely irritating. Our room was located not far from Pretorius street, it was loud and too busy outside. can't have peace of mind in that type of space.
