My family and I have rented condos at Seaoats throughout the years multiple times and this is the first time we have been disappointed. The pictures for this particular rental number 403 are very outdated and misleading. First, parts of the kitchen are falling apart, there is minimal mismatched silverware and not sure if there’s an issue with the dishwasher but most dishes were very dirty. The sliding glass door to the balcony did not latch or lock very well if even at all. There was holes in the living room furniture. For a condo that could sleep 10 people, there was only 4 dining room chairs at the table. The light above dining table looked like a bathroom fixture and had mixed shade light bulbs. The toilets would barely flush enough to take down toilet paper, therefore had to use plungers often. One of the beds was missing a boxy spring leaving it very low to the ground. We love this building for the views off the balcony but unfortunately didn’t get to sit out often due to 3 out of 4 broken chairs.

We stayed at Sea Oats and our condos were great. One was a little more updated than the other, but you can’t beat the location and the easiness to check in and out. Easy access to restaurants and literally steps to the ocean. Would definitely recommend!

We have stayed within the complex multiple times. Very dissatisfied with the lack of cleanliness in the bathrooms and kitchen. Hair all over the floor in the bathroom and old food particles in the kitchen. I would not stay in this unit again. The other units we have stayed in are much nicer and cleaner. With the amount we spent to stay for the week, I would expect better.

The condo was very nice with an amazing view! Kitchen needs some updates as well as some additional kitchenware. VRBO says check-in is at 10am but once you get the rental agreement, it says 4pm leaving us with a 5hour wait to get in the room. Otherwise had a wonderful time!

I'm conflicted because there's a difference between "not updated" as advertised, and neglected. I don't want to be too harsh but in good conscience, there are things the owner and future renters should be aware of. Two of the dining chairs are broken, and the veneer on all the wooden furniture in the living area is peeling. The cork has rotted off the 3 remaining coasters, so just throw them out. Also peeling are the wallpaper borders and shelf paper in the kitchen. The silverware tray is so old it's falling apart, and some of the silverware was dirty, and there was no dishwashing liquid. There are no more than 2 glasses that match. Slats are missing from the verticals. There's an old outdated stereo system with nothing to play in it, on an old table. Broken straps on the balcony furniture, Lamp shade in primary bedroom is broken but it is leaning against the drape so you can only tell if you close the drape, None of these things are major, and that's why I'm frustrated because they could easily be fixed and bring my overall rating from a 3-4 up to a 7-8. There were also issues with the toilets flushing and the ice maker, but everything else was functional. I was happy with the smart tvs. It wouldn't cost much to correct most of these things; in fact I live nearby and considered offering to correct them in exchange for staying there. I would definitely stay at Sea Oats again, just a different unit.

The facility and beaches were fantastic. We had asked the Maintenance Guy for assistance which helped us right away. Now we get to the 2 units we rented. The one on first floor was very well maintained, undated and had every thing you needed in kitchen to have an enjoyable visit. The one we rented on 4th floor was a disaster. So rundown, has been upgraded in years this were in disrepair. Almost every time you used bathroom had to use plunger. We had to buy plastic ware because there weren’t enough knives and forks. Borrowed pots and pans from other unit to cook. Camping at the worst.John C

Great view good beds. Toilet could use some tweaking .washer and dryer were great and pretty new. Pleasantly surprised. Stove could be releveled. Needs wine glasses and a better assortment of shorter glasses. Nice fry pan and pots and pans okay.

Our family of 8 enjoyed a wonderful week of togetherness. There was plenty of room for all of everyone.We have been visiting this beautiful location for many years. Our children are all adults now. And we are so grateful they were all able to join us this year. Brought back lots of wonderful memories, and gave us a chance to make many more amazing memories. God willing we will return next year.

Owners description was just has described. The place was perfect and had everything we needed. The condo had plenty of room for 5 us. Had a great time and the view was beautiful. Loved watching dolphins swim by. Will definitely be back. The only thing I would recommend is ceiling fans in the other bedrooms.

The condo needs some serious updates especially the beds. Whoever stayed before us just put their dirty dishes in the cupboards so we washed everything before we used them.
There were plenty of bath towels and some beach gear that we were able to use.
Sea Oats is a very nice property and the pool and beach are great.

the location was great and the beach was perfect. the pool area and beach area was exactly as pictured. Our condo needed to be updated and we knew that from the start. but our frig leaked from the start and the ice maker never worked. we reported it but it was never repaired. our toilets were not flushing properly and backed up several times. it became a big problem. toilets need to be replaced. i reported several other issues to jc resort management before my checkout in the hopes they could correct some of the issues. the next person may not be as forgiving as i was. i would stay again just not in this particular unit. it is a shame they are not spending a little to update their condo.

Pros: Beautiful view from the balcony.Slept 8 of us comfortably.Lots of bath towels, hand towels and face cloths supplied.Cons:Ice machine in fridge doesn’t work.Only 6 chairs at the table but sleeps 8.Bed in room with one bed is very uncomfortable. Other beds were good.Overall we had a great time. The unit needs updating but we knew that when we rented it. It would be better if the pool had a key pad entry instead of key fobs.

We had a great experience. We live in Europe and were back in Florida after the corona break. We have spent countless weeks in JC Resort Management resorts and they have become a second home to us. Extra thanks to Pam who always takes good care of us.We are now in Japan but we will soon come back to Florida!

After being displaced from Fort Myers due to Ian, we ventured to the St Pete area. The condo accommodated myself, my sister and my 4 kids perfectly. Reviews saying it hasn’t been updated were a little off as most condos on the beach are not typically aesthetically modern (at this price point) and we weren’t disappointed at all (the pictures of the interior depicted it perfectly). Having laundry in the room was a huge perk along with plenty of space for everyone. Only recommendations would be adding some beach chairs to the room as there are not any on the beach. Beach, pool, view and parking were great.

The unit 403 is like us going back to the 70’s or 80’s. The kitchen was horrible we had to wipe down all walls and cabinets in kitchen because dried food all over. Pots and pans were nasty. We used one pan after we washed it real good. Will not pay for that unit ever again

There was hair in the bed and refrigerator. There was blood on the walls and rugs. The plumbing needs work. No box spring in the bed, so it sets almost on the floor. Over all it needs to be up grated. I don't believe anything has been done since it was built. I don't recommend it.

Great location and Gulf views! Easy beach access, pool was nice. Unit needs to be updated, but Owner was upfront in the rental description letting us know the unit is outdated. Overall stay was good as most of our time was spent on the beach and by the pool. Thank you for sharing your condo.

I was a little worried after seeing some other reviews, but seaoats 403 is perfect. We really enjoyed our time here, and it was a great location. 5 out of 5. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Place! Don't know what others expect
I was pleasantly surprised after so many negative reviews about this condo. It was clean, had loads of space, and a killer view and location. The one issue we had was the bathroom light and that was taken care of within a couple of hours after reporting it to management. They had to bring in an electrician to fix the problem; it wasn't just changing a light bulb. Front desk people were as nice as they could be and very helpful. I found the beds to be very comfortable and so did the rest of my party. Because of being particularly picky about pillows, I brought my own but others in my party didn't and just doubled up on pillows. I did not hear any complaints.
There were plenty of amenities, including a washer and dryer, beach chairs, and an umbrella.
The layout was perfect for us and everyone had a bed and there was plenty of bathroom space. I always had hot water when I showered, but we all kind of staggered our shower times. Both toilets worked just fine. I do know the plumbing in this particular building can be sensitive and that is just par for the course (my sister's in-laws own a condo at Sea Oates).
Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend this condo to anyone. In fact, I will stay there again the next time we visit the area.

Thankful but needs work
Positive: Very appreciative of being able to get 3BR on beach with about only a month before trip during spring break and very appreciative of owners. Great view and fun location. Unit has great bones and size. New refrigerator, stove top and microwave
Negative: mattresses were uncomfortable, flat pillows, took an hour to figure out living room tv as there were no instructions, electrical outlets that didn’t work, outdated furniture, 4 pieces to blinds missing, master shower-curtain fell down (I put it back in place), only one lamp in children’s room worked (which was enough for us), outdated hardware, matted down carpet. Vents were very dirty and need cleaned: my wife was coughing constantly from the dirty air flowing thru the unit.
Place just needs to be invested in and it’d be a great place. Like I said: great bones.

Beautiful Beach Getaway
We really enjoyed our stay here. The view from the balcony is wonderful and we enjoy the location with its laid back atmosphere. The condo has most everything you need in the kitchen, beach toys, chairs and plenty other goodies. Laundry in the unit is huge bonus. We will definitely come back again.

Wonderful family vacation spot
This condo unit had all the room my family needed for our vacation! The location was perfect❤️. The communication with the condo owner and rental manager was prompt. I would stay here again unfortunately it is already booked for next February.😭

Beds pillows and hot water
Beds were so uncomfortable. Pillows so old and flat. Shower in second best only allowed for one shower then the water went cold. Tv was messed up. Unit needs updating for the price. Nice location.

I wish few things were included, like paper towels, coffee filters, salt/pepper, dishwasher soap. Amazing location, not a luxury one, but decent and priced right on!

Great views of the beach. Nice building. Everything was as described. My only complaint is it could have been cleaner. Especially during COVID. Even as a bronze property. Office staff courteous. Called maintenance for a minor problem, very quick and professional. Would stay again with a deep cleaning :)
