We needed a short term rental and this worked for us. We rented through Sanibel Holiday who we totally trust and have used for about 15 years.

We were here for eight nights and loved our stay! Lovely quiet location and an easy walk to the beach. The pool was refreshing after a day at the beach or walking or kayaking at Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge. The unit is exactly as pictured and half of a duplex. The property management company checked in with us and was also quick to respond to an issue. We would definitely stay here again.

Loved our stay at the cottage. It was a nice secluded place with water area that attracts large green lizards and smaller lime green ones as well! Alligators a possibility although we didn’t see any. The great huge tropical trees are beautiful too. Cottage was very clean and we used the screened in front and back porches constantly. Check in and checkout process was a breeze! There are bikes and water/sand toys as well as umbrellas and beach chairs which we used every day. It was nice having a laundry facility on site and the pool looks new. Water could have been a little warmer but we still spent several hours there.

Staying here was nice. It’s a good property in a nice location. The bikes were not in the best condition, so we couldn’t always use them, but we enjoyed our stay.

This is a nice clean property right in the middle of everything you need for a Sanibel vacation. Sure. There are closer spots to the beach, but those come with a cost. If you're OK with walking a few blocks, this place is quiet, spacious and perfect for the couple who like to explore. We found the place clean, easy to sleep and right next to the main roads and perfect beach on the island.

Let me first say the group managing the place were great and handled our concerns promptly. I really don’t have anything good to say other than it wasn’t too expensive. First, there was a small blood stain on the comforter. Second, the pillow cases were beyond disgusting with stains all over them to the point we had to buy new ones. Third, the beach towels were gross - covered in stains and bleach spots. The beach chairs were just as gross as they were covered with mold and mildew and rust. There is no electrical outlet in the bathroom, so we had to run an extension cord from the bedroom to the bathroom for my wife to be able to blow dry her hair. Lastly, which has nothing to do with the unit itself, was the neighbors had an annoying dog that would not stop barking. Positives: furniture was clean and comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, it was a short distance to the beach, shopping, and some restaurants. The pool area was extremely clean and had enough chairs for everyone.

We had a wonderful stay at this little duplex two blocks from the beach. We had everything we needed and more coffee filters that anyone could use in 100 years. No need to bring more. But DO make reservations at restaurants, we were stuck a few times with few options. We had everything we could have needed for a weeks stay in Sanibel. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay on Sanibel.

We had a great time at this cottage! It is not overly fancy but it is clean and it provided a nice place to relax after a day at the beach! One tip I would give to future travelers is whatever you do don’t bring coffee filters haha! There was upwards of 800 of them there because everyone who has stayed has brought 200

So, we had a wonderful vacation but I wouldn't say that was because of our rental unit. I want to be fair but also honest about this specific rental experience. And assure you even if you stay here you will still have a great vacation.

First, the Good: The location is amazing. Right in the heart of everything on Sanibel and about .5 mile bike ride or walk to everything you want beach, restaurants, shops, ice cream, etc. The unit also came stocked with everything we needed for the beach which was huge to us. Solid chairs, great umbrella, beach towels,etc.

Second, the "okay": The unit is pretty much no frills and unimpressive. Not bad persay, but expect slightly outdated ammenities, stained beach towels, cracked floors, worn couches, stiff bed, mediocre bedding, etc. So, if you have the right expectations it's a good enough place for the price.

Lastly, the not so good: The unit was described as "Free" bikes included. When we arrived we noticed a note saying there were 4 bikes out front for our use. Well, there were only 2 bikes and 1 was completely un-ridable based on it's condition and the remaining bike was in rough shape. When I called the owner (mangement company) to request help I didn't get any help and was just recommended to go rent our own bikes and 0 offer to help provide them was made which was disappointing because bikes are the way to go on Sanibel. Also, Some of the "rules" and basic house items came with head scratching requirements. For example you only get 2 rolls of single ply toilet paper and then have to go buy more if you need it. Also, at the end of the week we had to wash and dry our beach towels at a community washing machine that required quarters which was just very inconvenient. Not a deal brea

This property was very clean. Kitchen was well equipped, although we only made coffee and breakfast there. The couches were comfortable as well as the bed. The back porch was cute but we didn't use it as it was a bit noisy with the AC running. That's ok because the front porch was nice too! The location was indeed a 10 minute walk to the beach or a quick 3 minute bike ride to the beach. It was nice to have beach chairs and an umbrella to use. We took advantage of the beach bikes (with front baskets) every morning to check out the island. Jerry's Market is an easy bike ride to grab a few groceries and their almond croissants are delicious! Doc Ford's and The Mad Hatter are must go to restaurants! Spoondrift Island Bowls (take home) is also super yummy! We can't wait to return!

It was quiet and clean and had both a covered front patio and back patio. Laundry is across the courtyard and $1.50 each to wash/dry. Pool access and an easy bike ride or walk to the public beach at Nerita. This location is also an easy drive to the Lighthouse Beach and offers a back way to the beach and properties on the southern part of the island. Great a/c and fans in both rooms. We will be back!

The cottage was very clean, neat and organized. We had everything we needed. The grounds were natural so we saw iguanas, lizards and birds right in the yard. The pool was clean and refreshing. This particular unit B-1 has decrepit bicycles, it took almost 48 hours to get air in flat tires, we ended up renting
Housekeeping supplies and towels, frying pans and cooking utensils, all down market and and not reflective of the daily charge. Unit itself is quite spacious, grounds were disappointing, pool nice.
Great meal at Cielo, Jerry's market was an unexpected find.
