Beautiful hotel in a perfect location. Some of the calmest ocean area of Mirissa Beach for swimming. The family that runs the hotel makes you feel completely at home and is very warm and welcoming

The bathroom and room are very big and nice. We enjoyed our stay here, we felt very good. The management team is super friendly and very nice people. We recommend the place.

The rooms are very big, cleaned every day, and the ocean view is exactly what should be. But the best thing about the stay was meeting the owners who are amazing people.

Best place we stayed in Sri Lanka before and after covid. Our host Lalith is friendly and welcoming. The rooms and patio are spacious.. love being able to walk to the beach and yet still have pool access. Western Breakfast is good, comes with smoothie.. love being able to.sit in patio.

Nothing! Beach mirrisa is our best stay in sri lanka. Make sure to bring bug spray/repellant... Mosquitoes love tourists!

Hosts were friendly, you can rent snorkeling sets in the hotel and they helped us organize the diving trip which was very cool, totally recommend!

Breakfast could be more diverse. The omelette is good but not every day...

Hotel is great and in a great location - just needs a bit of a refresh in a few places. The owners could not do enough to please from the moment we got there and we had many a lovely conversation with them both. Breakfast was fabulous - I loved my scrambled eggs best I had whilst in Sri Lanka :) and the location couldnt be be better - actually on Turtle Beach where if its calm the hotel can loan you snorkels to see the turtles!

Location. The hotel is located next to the famous Turtle Beach. every morning you can swim with the turtles. Coconut hill is near.))five minutes walk👍🏻 breakfasts were awesome 👏 beautifully and incredibly 😋 tasty! the view from the balcony was great(especially at night by moonlight) 😍sunsets and sunrises

The location is great, very close to everything in Mirissa. Great view from the balcony. The owners are very nice and the hotel has a lot of potential.

Unfortunately I expected a lot more for the price per night. The day before we stayed in a very nice clean hotel with a lower room rate. I guess the high price is related to the great location. The room + bathroom was very old and had dirty walls. The pictures seen on booking were for me misleading. The linens had many brown and yellow spots and I got told that they have issues with their laundry service. The towels had holes and were as well full with stains. We stayed for two days and I followed the rule by putting the towels on the floor and showing I want new towels. When we came back the old towels were just hung up and no new ones. The AC is besides each room entrance with no open windows on the other side. So before entering your room you have to fight through a sauna like hallway. The beach is nice but contains only a few sunbeds. So as said before for 80$ per night I expected a lot more.

This little hotel is in a great location right on the beach. The pool is nice and the included breakfast was large and wonderful each morning. Staff are super friendly and helpful! Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The little beach right in front of the hotel is nice and almost private. The main, and much larger, Mirissa Beach is just a short (3-5 mintues) walk along the sand. There a lots of good restaurants and shopping nearby.

The only negative thing we can say is that the balcony door can only be kept closed with a key (inside and outside). Would be nice if the door had regular doorknob.

Beautiful hotel right on the sea front with private beach! Swimming with turtles is a daily experience. Run by a fantastic couple who work hard to ensure your stay with them is perfect. Definitely would stay here again! Also love the breakfast!

the bathroom was not very nice, no space to keep bathroom staff, no ac in and no well kept. the ombrella and sunbed were old and not well kept. the beach part of the propriety is kept wild and kind of dirty, unfortunately

The hotel is already in need for some renovation. The only thing I can't recommend is Laundry services. We ordered this service through hotel and received clothes with stains. This service is provided by external service provider, but then you pay more and order through hotel you expect good quality.

Beach Mirissa is run by a couple, both of whom have a background as cabin crew. This explains the level of hospitality we experienced while we were there. We loved our stay there. The room is spacious and very clean, and comes with a nice balcony overlooking the ocean. The property is on the beach and there’s a shack(or two) in front of it. A couple of very popular places are nearby, and the main beach is a 1.5$ tuk tuk ride away. We wanted to extend our stay but it was fully booked out. We would stay here again should we be in Mirissa. P.S. If you’re in the mood, do request them to cook you an authentic Sri Lankan breakfast.

Maybe the pool could have been cleaned everyday. while we were there it was cleaned only once in those 4-5 days. There was also a bad smell coming from our toilet, but that was managed after we let them know. All in all, there are no dealbreakers here. It’s an excellent place and one of best in Mirissa.

the owners were exceptionally friendly, it felt more like a homestay than a hotel! the location was great and the breakfast was very filling. they went above and beyond for our anniversary reservation, would definitely stay again. very generous with the generator unlike some 5* hotels during the crisis, one of the best hotels we stayed in

no privacy on the balcony as wall very low. sunbeds we’re a little dated. decor could do with a little touching up but understandable given the current economic crisis

The owners and the staff are just amazing. So helpful and nice. Really good location location, have a own small private beach and walk away from the mirissa beach.

AC wasn't the best one, but we're from Finland, so we're not used to this kind of heat...

The daily breakfast was delightful. Our room was large and spacious and the balcony was my favorite part. I practiced yoga and worked out every morning on it, we sipped cocktails at sunset on it. Location was perfect for wandering up and down the beach and for walking to delicious restaurants for dinner. Hosts were delightful. We would absolutely stay here again.

My only complaint was the bathroom didn't have AC and could be fairly hot with the door closed-otherwise this was a fantastic stay!
