Die Gastfamilie ist sehr sympathisch und die zwei haben mir den Aufenthalt in Mirissa angenehm gemacht mit dem riesigen Frühstück und ihrer Freundlichkeit. Sehr zu empfehlen 😊

Lovely hosts! Super friendly and welcoming family! I loved my 4 nights here! The family are very kind and embody the spirit of a home stay! The room was perfect and very good A/C Delicious varied breakfast each morning :-) Era holiday house is a home from home! Fantastic family and very warm atmosphere :-)

Расположение прекрасное. До пляжа пешком 3-5 минут, столько же до центра. Кафе все рядом. Немного вдалеке от главной шумной улицы, поэтому тихо. Просыпаешься под звуки птиц. Вся сантехника работает, проблем с горячей водой, Wi-Fi не было. Невероятно чистые номера. Завтраки действительно огромные, разнообразные, вкусные. Гостеприимные, всегда готовые помочь хозяева. Просили приготовить рыбу на ужин - очень вкусно и приятная цена. Так же отвезли в Унаватуну на своём тук-тук по приятной цене. Спасибо за вашу заботу и гостеприимство!

The property is clean with good ambiance and all the required facilities. Location is near major attractions. Above all the owners are extremely friendly and helpful.

The place is 6 min away from the beach, very central. Owners were super nice. The breakfast was the best, was like an open buffet :) Finding an air conditioner was a luxury :)

I highly recommend this place if you are staying in Mirissa. 5 mins from the beach, super clean and spacious rooms. Air conditioning is a big plus. Very hospitable and helpful hosts. Insanely good breakfasts

Fantastic hosts and the best breakfast we ever had.

The hospitality of the owners is awesome. The room is very, specious, the same is bathroom. And The breakfasts... It's another story - amazing. The food is delicious and diversed. We even got tuk tuk with a good price to Unawatuna - riding with the owner😁 highly recommend

This is home always from home! The rooms are simple but very clean and well maintained. A/C is quiet and works perfectly. Water is hot anytime. The bed is comfy - but the best thing is the absolutely perfect hospitality of the owners! (And the breakfast) ;) the people are so unbelievably nice and kind and helpful! It's just amazing! I have rarely felt so welcome anywhere else in the world. Best thing is, even though it is right in the middle od Mirissa, it's absolutely quiet. No traffic, no loud bars, but still you can just have restaurants, bars or the beach within 3 min walk. It's perfect for solo travellers or couples who like to be undisturbed at night but still right in the middle of everything.

The owners of this guesthouse were lovely and did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. We missed our first breakfast as we left early for whale watching and they made up for it with a huge delicious breakfast on the second day

The breakfasts were tasty and huge! We always put some of the fruit in the fridge for later, as we couldn't finish it. The room was clean and well-equipped. The shower always had hot water and worked well. The location is very good - five minutes from the beach, and near the main street too.

Unfortunately, we were not given the room we had booked, at first, because they had given it to someone else. After a very long discussion, this was resolved. The balcony and balcony furniture weren't very clean.

Super friendly and helpful owners, they arranged a whale tour and taxi to the airport for us and they make the best breakfast you will get in Sri Lanka!! The rooms are clean and have everything you need including AC, and it’s a 2 min walk from the beach! Reasonably priced for what you get! Can recommend this to everyone

The host could not have done any more for you, really nice selection at breakfast and they make sure you have enough food. We got welcome drink and snacks on arrival and was kind enough to let us check out later as the room was available. There’s hot showers, big room with fridge and freezer, comfy bed and a balcony. location was perfect, off the Main Street but still close to everything. really lovely family, and the husband even took us around in his tuk tuk and dropped us off at our next destination in Galle for a good price. thank you so much, we had a lovely stay.

Very lovely stay at Era Holiday House. The location is perfect, the room is big with a lot of lights. Hot water is available all the time. Will be missing breakfast here)

Very nice lodge. Comfy bed and big bathroom. Good location, near to the beach and city but away from the main street. Warm water etc worked as expected. The breakfast was awesome. We had the opportunity to try Sri Lankan breakfast like roti with egg, hopper with egg, samosa, vegetarien hopper etc. Also the fruits were nice. Beside papaya, banana and watermelon they had guave, mango, rambutan and passion fruit.

No generator,sp when blackout occurs, no AC or wifi

This was one of the nicest places we stayed at during our trip. The room was beautiful and clean and the view from the house was nice as well. However, what made our stay extra nice and pleasant was the lovely host. When we got there, there was a power cut (we had them every day in Sri Lanka due to the government). We were quite used to the power cuts by then and it didn’t bother us that much, but the host apologised several times for it (and for not having a generator) even though it wasn’t even his fault. Next day when we got back from whale watching we asked the host if we could just have fruit and coffee, but he went above and beyond and brought up full breakfast, saying even that wasn’t enough (it was more than enough for us). The breakfast was very tasty and he made the best egg roti we had during our stay in Sri Lanka. When we checked out and wanted to pay, the host said that we should pay what we want to pay and that he wouldn’t like us to pay the full amount because of the power cuts. We of course paid the full amount plus a little extra as he was the nicest and sweetest host we had during our trip (even though he didn’t speak much English).

The most welcoming stay in Sri Lanka! Our hosts were extremely helpful and generous. The room and surroundings were very comfy and the breakfast - there are no words to describe how tasty it was and how full we were afterwards! Definitely recommend!

Everything was amazing: starting from the welcome drink to the organized transfer to another town. Nirosha and her family are amazing hosts. Breakfast was so large and delicious that leftovers were my lunch :) Location is also great: literally 2-3 minutes from the beach or main street, but still in a quiet place. Any help you need is provided. I would definitely recommend it and would stay again.

Please note that this place doesn't have a generator, so when there's a power cut, there's no energy. But it happens everywhere, so it's not the fault of hosts. Nothing else to complain about.

Perfect lacation on quiet street just few minutes from beach. You can meet peacocks on the terrace and fireflies in the evening. There are delicious and huge breakfast each morning. Rooms are sparkling clean with enough space. Owners are very friendly and i would rate this place 11 if it was possible.
