This is a charming cottage with a sublime view!

The house is just as lovely as pictured and it is right on the beach. The wrap around porch has a roof which was perfect on the two rainy days of our vacation. We were still able to sit or lounge outside and read or dine while watching and hearing the ocean. On lovely days we were just steps from the beach. We loved the shower and faucet on the lower deck for cleanup after a sand beach visit. There are lots of fine restaurants close by. You can drive your own car, ride the trolley or rent a golf cart. It was a wonderful vacation and we would truly come back to this little hidden gem.

The house is perfectly located, beach front and super spacious, but I do not recommend this house, if you want to have a peaceful family vacation please rent another house, there a sooo many houses to rent in this island (I rent every year 10+ houses) and never felt as badly as I felt in this house…. Let’s start from the beginning, they have a no cancellation policy and will keep your security deposit even if you attempt to cancel 24 hours after booking, all houses I’ve renter you have up until 30 days before the vacation to cancel, mind you I attempted to cancel more than 5 months before and it was less than 48 hours after reserving the home. Then, we rented 3 houses because we are a big family, the only house that was beach front was this one and obviously my family had to park in the parking lot of the house I RENTED to enjoy the beach and they left at night. Since the first day the manager started calling because of the cars in the parking lot, second day she appeared at the front porch, without notice, without knocking on the door and gave mi 5 min to wake up my kids and my sick aunt (just had chemotherapy 1 day before) because she needed to do a walk through. She went in and saw 2 more people than the house permits and left saying she was going to get us kicked out if they slept there (I explained we rented 3 homes) Last day I write to her about my deposit and she said she will keep it because : 1- 5 bags of garbage (are we supposed to eat our garbage?) 2 - More people than allowed, I explained to her we rented 3 houses and have proof 3- She saw inflatable matresses ( Well yes, I have small kids that slept on the floor) 4- She saw a miniature scratch on the oven (who Im sure was there when we got there) They will make your vacation a living hell!! Please do yourself a favor and rent elsewhere, Im telling you from experience, this is the worse renter you will ever find. Completely ruined my family vacation!

This house fit our family of six perfect. Great location on the island, beach out our back door, and you can’t beat the view. Looking forward to coming back again!

We absolutely loved the view, extensive ocean front window sliders and beachfront porch for watching sunsets. Kitchen is a bit dated but serviceable. Would love to see the lamps updated when we return in a few year.

Thanks for such a well stocked kitchen! The beds were comfy and all furniture was as pictured. Really we spent most of our time on the beach and deck. Thanks for the wagon it really helped getting our beach chairs to beach. We want to come back soon.

We had the best time! The location was absolutely PERFECT! We had a few small kiddos with us and found it very kid friendly. We had everything we needed for the beach and there were even lots of beach toys for the kids! Will definitely be staying here again.

I could type for hours how nice this place is. The balcony, view, and distance to the sand is just perfect. The house is very cute but honestly you'll be spending most of your time on the balcony. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because it had roaches (some alive some dead), the mattresses were low quality, and sheets were stiff as a board. All easily correctable issues that should be addressed because I saw some of the same complains written in the visitor book. Constructive feedback aside I would defiantly stay here again. Overall it was wonderful.

Highly recommend house and location!

The idyllic holiday properties team were great. The property needs repairs badly and it seems they are painting over their problems. The appliances need updating and the beds need to be replaced. Had a great time. Loved Anna Maria Island.

Such a wonderful stay at the beach house. Mattress were replaced and the beds are very comfy. I saw some earlier reviews about that. Sharon , property manager answered my calls right away and she was lovely and helpful. We hope to be back .

Really nice beach property, very comfortable!

The location is the best! Right on a wonderful, quiet beach. We loved the raised deck overlooking the beach/ocean. Perfect place for morning coffee and to watch the sunset in the evening. The house is great, very clean and so cute! The only thing that would make it better is new mattresses. The beds were not really comfortable.

The beach house was exactly what we needed; access directly to the beach, nestled in a quiet location with room to stretch out on the beach, stunning round the clock views of the ocean from the living room/dining area as well as the large back deck. I loved cooking in the open kitchen. But the best part was seeing the baby sea turtles hatch and make their way to the ocean!!!

What a beautiful experience we had at the beach house. This home is just 20 short steps from the sand and a few more to the water. The wooden deck was my favorite part and cooking as I watched the ocean. The house is a little outdated but in an eccentric sort of way that feels like your part of a novel. The bed could be better but after a day at the beach I still slept well. The beach chairs and some pots need a refresher. But the view, privacy, location and huge deck are worth it. I would stay again. The memories we made at Anna Maria even with Red tide (which is not fun) are still priceless.

Great place to stay for a family. Well equipped kitchen. Open family / kitchen area for gathering. Spectacular elevated deck overlooking the beach. Outside shower to rinse off when returning from the beach. We made wonderful memories during our 9 night stay.

We loved the house and spent our days on the deck enjoying the beautiful weather and amazing views.

The location of this house is outstanding! I was looking for a house that we were able to walk back and forth from the beach, a couple times a day just to enjoy it to the fullest and This house was the perfect one for this. However, it will be extremely nice if the owner will consider changing the mattresses. This will be the most important feedback about the whole experience. Being able to sleep comfortable is important, and this was the only downfall. We are sure this house rents all year around with out having to make any improvements , but we hope our feedback will be consider seriously. It will complete the whole experience !!! And with no doubt we will rent it again.

The location, beach in your back yard, views from the balcony, gorgeous sunsets, and laid back Anna Maria Island vibe made for a memorable family getaway.

The location of this property on the beach could not be better. AMI is a magical place. The whole stay was wonderful.

Great experience overall!! Lucked out big time with weather. Amazing beach. Minimal concerns except beach equipment pretty old and beaten up. Not enough bath towels. Kitchen could use some storage containers and measuring cups to boost what is there. Well equipped for most part with laundry soap etc Loved this experience and would highly recommend to anyone. Five stars!! Will plan a 2nd trip for some time soon!

We had an enjoyable stay at the Beach House and hope to return again!

This house is the perfect location for a winter getaway. It is right on the beach, the sunsets can be watched from the porch and the beach is quiet. We loved watching the dolphins. We had a lot of fun on Anna Maria. We look forward to returning.

Communication with owner helped set expectations, very nice to work with. This house has everything we wanted, privacy, privacy, privacy, and a stunning view of the water. The beach facing glass doors across the house ensure you can see the water from in the house, but we spent most of our time on the deck. Due to Covid, we took all our dinners as takeout, we cooked brunches at home, but every meal was at the deck table, watching the ocean. Then we lounged on the deck loungers or sat pulled up to the railing when we were just relaxing. Only a few minor inconveniences, the master bed was not good, just sat on it and it popped and we were afraid it wouldn’t support us but there was a second bedroom with two twins pushed together and it was a very comfortable bed, so we weren’t put out too much, just a note. Second, one of the smoke detectors starting chirping due to low battery and was so oddly intermittent we struggled at first to even figure out which one it was, the handyman came to check, replaced a battery, but it turned out he had the wrong detector, it really was funny how the chirping was so random. So for us, it became something to chuckle over, as we had a fan running at night so it never woke us, and we were on the deck so much :) I’m certain they’ve addressed that by now, and we were having such a lovely time we didn’t let that bother us. Overall we would absolutely rent again, you can’t beat that view, even with chirping we got just what we needed, a beautiful private place to watch the sunset! We hope to make it a yearly trip!

This property has a magical location. The porch has an incredible view of the beach and sea. We watched the gorgeous sunsets every night! The house was fully equipped and we had a great time together! One suggestion would be to upgrade the mattresses. Looking forward to book with you again. Mira Davidson & family

The location is perfect. Beautiful quiet beach. Great for the grandbabies to be able to play in the sand and then we could run in for snack or whatever without the hassle of packing everything back up. Breathtaking sunsets every night. Communication with Liane was easy and friendly. We look forward to coming back.

We spent most of our time one the deck because the deck is perfect! Sunsets amazing!!
