A proposito di questa casa vacanza
Secluded luxury log home in Wisconsin wilderness

This was our second time visiting this property during winter and this cabin was exceptional as well as the property. Due to the warmer temperatures this year, we were able to have a winter fire in the firepit by the lake. Also, we saw no less than twenty beautiful elk and deer this year. Truly a memorable winter stay.

My husband and I stayed for a weeklong family getaway with our 4 adult children plus their spouses/signif others and a baby. This cabin suited us perfectly! With five bedrooms, there was enough space for everyone, though we did bring a queen air mattress due to one of the rooms having a double bed. The master BR fills the loft--it is very spacious with great views and a deck, but it is open to below so there is noise if others stay up later.
The cabin was clean and the kitchen was well-stocked with dishes, pans, glassware, and cooking utensils, etc. Items that were not included but would have been nice to have on hand were tin foil, larger ziploc bags (to take our leftovers home), and basics such as sugar and coffee. The bathrooms did not have shampoo, conditioner, or body wash, so you will want to bring your own.
The property itself was wonderful! It felt like we were on an island because the lake surrounds the cabin on three sides. We used the canoe, paddleboard and swimming raft quite a lot. We caught a variety of small fish from the dock and canoe--fishing esp. good at sundown. The firepit area is lovely--all stone--and overlooks the lake. No firewood--it would have been nice to have a bundle or two provided for us.
We found free pickleball courts about 20min away at Silverthorne Lk Pk and rented a pontoon also 20min away at Mystic Moose Resort for just $250/day. The girls went horseback riding at Spider Lake Ranch.
Overall this cabin was fantastic for us!

A very peaceful and quiet location. Tons of wildlife. Plenty of fish to catch in the lake. Tons to do in the area from hiking Copper Falls State Park to go-karting and Lumberjack shows in Hayward. Julie the host was very easy to work with. Check in was a very simple process. The cabin was very spacious and rustic.
However..... The cabin was filthy!
Master bedroom bed sheets had stains.
Master bedroom shower had a loose valve shower handle.
Dishwasher didnt clean dishes at all(we had to rewash most dishes by hand)
Stove top was dirty and covered in grease.
Oven didnt cook evenly.
Non stick frying pans were pretty much shot due to non stick coating chipped off (were horrible to cook with).
Downstairs smoke detector went off 2 nights in a row. New battery didnt seem to work.
Landscaping around cabin needs attention. A lot of over grown bushes in front of deck railing. Hard to even see the lake. There was a rose bush overhanging the deck railing on table side. We couldnt even take advantage of the full table due to the rose bush was covered with thick thorns.
To top things off the deck grill started on fire. With the poor cleaning of the grill, any caked on grease at the bottom of the grill caught fire and we used a fire extinguisher to put out the fire. Not to mention the grease catch was also full of grease. Grill brushes had almost no bristles left.
Clean and fix your stuff people! We pay good money to stay at these places and this is what you get.
So much potential here!

Wonderful property for a family vacation! It is located on a peninsula so you have the lake on three sides. The family had a great time fishing, paddle boating, kayaking, swimming, playing games, shooting pool, and grilling/cooking meals together. Great space with decks, porches, pier, beach area, trails, fire pit, swimming platform, and plenty of outside and inside area to play! One of the top places we have enjoyed!!

We have stayed at over a dozen VRBO properties in the last 10 years, either with family or friends. This is the only place we have chosen to come back again a second time and would do so a third.
This property has it all. We love to cook so the superb kitchen was perfect. It wasn't seasonal to utilize the fireplace but can imagine how inviting it would be on chilly or cold days/nights.
This spacious "cabin" that allowed for indoors games, private areas, a huge dining table and 3 bathrooms (esp with 3 teens) was so much appreciated.
We ranged from age 10 to 74 and each one of us felt at home and found extras from books, to games and more to help entertain.
We enjoyed the deck every day. We did wish there was another table so the whole family could eat there together.
The two docks with canoe and new paddle boat gave room for the swimmers, kayaks and rafts so as not to interfere with those fishing.
Some took early morning walks and saw wildlife each time. Not running into a bear or elk was okay but certain would have made those walks extremely exciting.
We had an unexpected situation arise just prior to our check in that the owner graciously helped us resolve - so very thankful.
Julie, the property manager, was very helpful and accommodating. She checked in on us after we were settled and called to let us know of a repairman coming and also another service person ahead of time. The home and the grounds were very well maintained and clean.
The laundry facilities were appreciated with our group!!! The pool table a plus.
Everything in and on this property was top notch. And the welcoming gift of s'mores fixin's and sticks hit it off with young and old alike.
Thank you for the opportunity to stay here once again. Kudos to the owners and to the staff.

GREAT FAMILY TIME ~ GREAT LOCATION ~ NOT SO GREAT WEATHER
We had a wonderful time at beautiful Beaver Lake Lodge. Our 2nd year and the property did not disappoint. Even with the rainy weather the lodge was big enough that all 9 nine of us had space for alone time and when playing games, working on a puzzle and family meals there was enough space to comfortably be together. Thank you again for a wonderful week!

A Cut Above
This place was lovely and offered lots to do. Canoeing, hiking, golf were some of the more physical activities. However, there's ample space for settling in with a good book, sunbathing or just staring into space and watching critters. All worthy efforts. Dining opportunities were a bit slim, partially due to staffing problems, but there are still places to dine, especially supper. Recommended.

If you are looking for a private secluded beautiful get away with family this is your destination!
From our check in with Julie to any questions along the way her response was immediate. Loved the conversation with the owner about the wildlife on property as well as great restaurant recommendations! This destination is a true gem. Gardens were spectacular!

Excellent vacation spot!
Beautiful setting and very clean! Loved the spaciousness and number of activities available to us. Paddle boating, canoeing, fishing, swimming, pool table in basement. Many books and games provided. We brought paddle boards that we used on the very quiet side of the property. Perfect because we are beginners. I highly recommend this vacation spot!! Jolyn

Family Vacation 2021
We had a wonderful time. The Cabin /Lodge was exactly as listed but exceeded our expectations! From our 3 year old Grandson, 5 & 7 year old Granddaughters and 10 year old Grandson, their parents and Jama, and Papa. Really enjoyed the park like setting on the semi private lake. Please drive slow on your way into and out of the Driveway as there were Deer and Elk on both sides at times. There was a White Swan , Beaver, Muskrat and several Loons that were seen during our stay. Also the Grandchildren enjoyed fishing and swimming nearly every day. The Raft, Canoe and Paddle Boat were a big hit as well. The Fire Pit was great and the S'mores were delicious. We can not express how grateful we are to have been able to rent this beautiful property. Thank you so much to Leigh Ann, and her fantastic Property Managers Julie and Bud

Eight elk!
This was our second stay at this property and we absolutely loved it! It was clean, spacious, and perfect for 3 generations to gather. We loved the privacy and the beauty of the property, and were very impressed with how quickly the driveway was plowed when it snowed. The highlight was the eight elk who visited almost every day, with more than one visit some days, and occasionally some whitetail deer. Can’t wait to go back!

Last minute getaway
The photos don’t justify how beautiful this property is and the lovely log home. It was a fab spot for a family escape from work, life and worries. Our family loves making campfire s’mores, playing games and enjoyed our days on the lake. Hope to be back! Perfect week up north!!

This is the third time we have stayed here. Our kids are older now but this is still the place everyone wants to go. Quiet and peaceful , just a great place to unwind. So thankful to be able to rent this property.

Great family fun!
Our 3 generation family loved this cabin and are excited to return! The cabin is spacious and clean. We enjoyed swimming, yard games, and using the canoe. Our family favorite was definitely the fire pit. We had some surprise cold summer weather and used it all day. Even when there wasn’t a fire going we would sit there to enjoy the beautiful view of the lake. Great family vacation!

Perfect Northern Wisconsin Getaway
Wow! Incredible property. Our group of 9 (4 adults and 5 teens) spent 7 days and 7 nights at this amazing cabin. The cabin is on a peninsula surrounded by a (nearly) private lake. Our boys loved swimming, fishing, canoeing, and playing basketball and other games on the spacious property. The cabin has everything you need, including a wonderful reading room for the adults and a game room (with a pool table) in the basement for the kids. Bedrooms and bathrooms are very clean and comfortable. Sitting on the deck and enjoying the lake was so relaxing. We had a fantastic time and hope to come back.

Beautiful Lodge and Location
Had a wonderful stay! My husband and 5 adult family . Despite Covid-19 - we settled in feeling safe. Plenty of indoors and outdoor space for individual time and family time; meals, movies and games. Beautiful lodge and area! The only disappointment was the fish were not biting. Would highly recommend - hoping to come back in the furture.

Private Family Time
Our family had an amazing time here. The only downside is that eventually we had to leave. We are a family of 4, kids are (7 and 5 yrs. old). The property is beautiful as is the house. It is extremely private, we did not see another person anywhere while on property, not even on the lake. On nice days we went for trail walks, swam in the lake, played yard games, went on canoe rides, fished from the dock, had campfires while watching incredible sunsets and read in our hammock we brought with us. On rainy days the kids had a large beautiful house to explore. We played board games and did puzzles. My wife was able to work still via wifi and the house was big enough that the kids didn't bother her while she did so. We have stayed at some incredible properties across the country and never had a bad experience with VRBO, but this was our favorite. Hands down.

Delightful week in the north woods
A wonderful place to stay for our three-generational family of ten. Spacious, beautiful, well-appointed home. And the property is a peninsula on a clear, beautiful lake. Our little ones loved the swimming dock and we canoed everyday. Wildlife: there was a nesting pair of loons nearby. We saw swans on the lake (trumpeter?). And though it was not prime viewing season for elk, we saw a couple and heard some amazing bugling. ... We also appreciated the extra care making sure the house was safe and clean before our arrival. Thanks so much.

Peaceful Lodging
Our stay at Beaver Lake Lodge was so peaceful and tranquil. The house is absolutely fabulous; everything is quality, the log home, the furnishings, the grounds, gardens, fire pit, the lake, even a well maintained secret path.
Our family enjoyed our stay and hope to come back in the future. We have stayed at many homes but this one was the best yet. We had plenty of space for our 3 generations of family, we fell in love with everything this property had to offer and there is so much to enjoy. I was so happy to see my grandchildren having a wonderful time with all the amenities.
Leigh Ann the owner and Julie the property manager were so friendly and accommodating. I felt relaxed, at peace and blessed that the owners shared their special peace of paradise with others. I will always cherish the memories of this idyllic sanctuary.

Beautiful, well furnished home in a perfect location
This is a beautiful home in an ideal location and as the other reviews mention, pictures cannot do it justice. It's beautifully furnished throughout and extremely well maintained. We'll be back!

Quiet lake house on a beautiful property. Perfect place for a family vacation.
Everything was in wonderful condition. Rooms very homey and comfortable. Our little grandchildren enjoyed riding their bikes in the driveway and the basketball hoop was a great surprise for mom's and dad's. Thanks for the great week in Clam lake..

Secluded and beautiful!
We had a wonderful stay at your gorgeous property. The house is spacious and well maintained with multiple living spaces that accommodated our group of 10 well. The loft especially with the sunlight and moonlight was amazing! The kitchen was extremely well stocked and easy to cook in.There were games and puzzles for all ages and toys for our 2 preschoolers. Even though the house was great, the setting was even better-water on 3 sides, huge yard with lots of space for yard games, a basketball hoop, a good swimming area with a raft (which was a big hit), canoe and paddle boat and a fantastic fire pit! We felt like we were the only ones on the lake-which I guess we were! We saw deer, heard loons and reveled in the peace and quiet.
We would definitely stay here again and plan to do so.
Thank you for sharing your gorgeous house and providing everything needed for a wonderful vacation.

Wonderful Location for a Peaceful Vacation!!
After our Dad passed away our family decided to take a "family vacation" in his honor. My sister and I and our kids had never done that before and thought it would be a great bonding experience.
Upon our arrival this BEAUTIFUL log home was exactly like the pictures described. I heard the word "breathtaking" many times during our stay. With five bedrooms and three bathrooms there was plenty of room for all of our guests
The location of the home is absolutely wonderful. It's at the end of their own private driveway secluded on a peninsula surrounded by water. There was a canoe and paddle boat on the grounds so you could go out and explore the waters with ease. Our family actually did a lot of fishing which was a lot of fun. Mostly pan fish (crappies, blue gills, perch and some small bass) but they were biting the whole week we were there which made it a lot of fun.
We were never really bothered by bugs too much except right at dusk when the mosquito's initially came out. Within 45 minutes they were gone and we enjoyed many camp fires at night.
All the amenities are exactly as described and "Julie" was an excellent contact person if there was anything that we needed. All in all it was a wonderful family vacation that created many excellent memories. Thank You!!

Welcoming and quiet
The home is decorated to make it feel so warm and inviting, it is a beautiful home. When you are up in bed in the loft and the house lights are all off, look out the loft windows, you feel like you are outside. The stars are spectacular!!!
You are supplied with everything you will need except fire wood for the fire pits and beach towels. Which was not a big deal to bring our own beach towels and get our own fire wood. The 2nd refrigerator was nice to have.
It is such a quiet and secluded location.
The kids swam almost every day, they loved the floating dock. They also loved catching pan fish off of the docks.
We did not want to leave!!!! We will return!!!

Private haven in Northern WI
Just finished another week staying at this property. Our family has been coming here for 7 years now and we have a great time every visit! The cabin is beautiful, well maintained and easily accommodates our group of 6 adults and 4 kids. We love the privacy of the location - it's like having a private lake given there is only one other cabin on the lake. Being located on the peninsula affords wonderful views and breezes that keep the bugs at bay. Perfect for relaxing, swimming and enjoying the north woods!

Awesome and Beautiful!
Can't say enough about how much we loved this place. Beautiful both inside and out. My only wish is for a second building so that more of my extended family could stay here to experience it! Hoping to stay again next year.

Gorgeous! Private! Perfect!
What an amazing home and property! It's pretty rare when the actual home exceeds the wonderful photographs. What hits you first is the quality - everything beautifully constructed, furnished and decorated; such an amazingly welcome and relaxed feeling as soon as you walk in the door. Then it's the enormity - "wait, there's another (big) room over here" and "look at this cool room.. and this one... and the game room in the lowest level.. with laundry... and kid's toys... and books... and the loft with sitting area!.. look at the size of that frig! - wait there's another one over here!" - I felt more like a kid than my kids and grandkids!
Then you step outside and the home is perfectly situated on a little peninsula where the lake wraps around the house. A very large yard to roam and run and enjoy games with plenty of shade trees. A sandy entrance area to the lake on one side with a swimming raft. Not a beach, but enough shallow area for a 4 and 7 year old to have a lot of fun. The other side has a small pier where we caught a wide variety of fish - perch, crappie, blue gills, sunfish, bass, bullhead. Did catch a decent size bass here and there, but really didn't try to do serious fishing. Came with paddle boat & canoe and we brought our two kayaks that were constantly in use! While only 32 acres, the lake seems much bigger as it wraps around there's marshy areas that extend the view. We enjoyed loons and a family of trumpeter swans (that really do trumpet!)
And it's serenely private and quiet which we loved most. Just a wonderful place for our family to reconnect and relax together. There is another house on the lake, but we never saw anyone. even if they were on the lake, would be far enough way to not be a distraction. The huge deck was great for grilling, hanging out and eating. The huge natural wood dining table inside is gorgeous! We enjoyed the firepit many nights - again, the quality. Large lannon stone floor with matching bench seating and a gorgeous view out to the lake. In late June it was still twilight at 10:15 pm!
We mostly hung around the cabin, but did a day hike over at Copper Falls State Park as well as dropping kayaks in Day Lake, upper & lower clam lake. The little town a mile up the road great for some necessities like bait & beer!
I really hate to write such a nice review because it might not stay our hidden little gem! But it's just so nice that I do hope you get the chance to get up to NW Wisconsin and enjoy!

Little Slice of Heaven- Absolutely Stunning
The pictures and description do not even come close to doing this cabin justice. It is gorgeously located on a peninsula which was great to fish around in the paddleboat and canoe. I came up with group of guys for fishing and golfing and it was absolutely perfect. There is a full game closet, the kitchen was impeccable, and plenty of lawn space for horsing around. The view from the large fire pit at night was to die for. The place was truly ideal. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
