The Hosts Phil and Margareth are awesome, they gave us advice and nice talks. The location is perfect it is a quiet area but still only 30 minutes with the bus to the city centre. Supermarket and small shops and restaurants just around the corner. The studio was nice a bit off a small shower but it all works fine and is very clean. Loved our stay and if we were living in New Zealand we would sertainly come back here.

Incredible hosts that really go above and beyond offering breakfast and even evening meals for a small charge. We couldn’t be happier with our stay. The place was very private considering it’s in the main house, but you have your own private entrance, bedroom, bathroom and even lounge to relax in! Breakfast was a lovely touch as we got to chat with the owners. Thanks Phil, was a great stay!

Superb facilities and a friendly and helpful host.

The owners went out of their way to make us welcome - sending us a welcome text message to confirm the address upon arrival in New Zealand to seeing off us early on the last morning of our stay. We felt we had known them for years by the end of our stay and we will keep in touch with this wonderful couple. Phil is a dab hand in the kitchen and everything is lovingly prepared - the fruit compote - apricots and plums were fabulous. If you are a history buff like me, Phil's genealogical work will be of immense interest. He is a wealth of knowledge, capturing the breadth of the Maori and European cultures that make up New Zealand.

Quiet, garden setting with easy access to facilities and transport to the city. The hosts are SUPER friendly but very respectful of privacy too. We've never booked in a private home (accommodation was separate and private) situation before but it was really lovely. The rooms were really clean and the bed soooo comfortable!. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We would highly recommend them.

Didn't have breakfast (my choice) Just loved the fact that you got the wee lounge area as well as bedroom and bathroom. Lovely quality bedding, very comfy, great location and within walking distance of good eating places. (would recommend Hoi An Vietnamese restaurant about 15 mins walk away. I didn't speak with Margaret but Phil was very helpful and really good to deal with.

Continental Breakfast was just as we like it, location was spot on and host hospitality was great.
