We had a wonderful time making some great family memories. My grandkid and adult kids loved the games, shuffleboard, and PacMan. The owners were quick to respond to a couple of questions we had. The cabin is spacious and cozy at the same time. There was everything we needed and then some available in this place! We'd highly recommend it and hope to travel back there someday soon.

Weddings can be stressful but staying here made it easy. It was comfortable and relaxing. Enough room for everyone to sleep and enjoy each other’s company.

The cabin was the perfect gateway to inform our family that my wife and I will be grandparents for the second time and that it will be a baby girl. The cabin amenities and location was really more than I or our family were expecting. We were close to everything we wanted, Lake Arrowhead Village, markets, gas station, and lake. The first floor is an amazing place to spread around. There was always a place for everyone in and outside of the cabin. The entire family really enjoyed eating at the large dining room table that can accommodate more than 20 people. Being able to sit out on the deck and seeing the lake was truly special. We will definitely be staying here again.

Our stay at this cozy cabin was wonderful filled with relaxation and comfort. We all had a great time and enjoyed the beautiful view . Mike and Christy where very attentive to our needs. Definitely recommend your next summer get away with them. Beautiful Walks nearby and fun activities for the whole family to enjoy.

The owner was readily available and helpful. The cabin was better than my expectations. It was stocked with all the amenities of home. The street was hard to find but helpful that you have address right out front on plaque.

This was the perfect place for our family getaway. Close to everything we needed. TONS of space! Everyone had room for whatever they needed. Completely stocked with necessities. Would highly recommend.

The house was a great property for the family, My husband myself a couple of friends and our kids (all in their 20's) Lots to do at the house. The beds were very comfortable and my kids said the the blankets were "Legit" We were there for a wedding just down the hill from there so the proximity to the wedding at Millers Landing was perfect. The owners added a nice and personal touch with a welcome note and a bottle of wine. The reason for a 4 star is because of the lack of communication from the management company re: check-in and instructions. I tried for several days to get a response via e-mail and then day of spent almost 2 hours on the phone with VRBO and they couldn't reach the property management company either. we live 3 hours away so I was quite nervous to see if we could even get in to the house.

We had 3 generation staying at the cabin. It was beautiful. Nice location, spacious and had everything we needed and more. The host was communicative and very nice. I would recommend the cabin to anyone. Loved all the outdoor space.

Group of 12 thoroughly enjoyed our time at the house. There are so many little details that the host cared for, including things like hangers, a couple of extra mattresses, kitchenware that was in good condition, a large dining table, and extension cord for charging electronic devices. Overall An excellent experience and would highly recommend to everyone

Great Cabin
My family's first time experiencing cabin in the mountains, they loved everything about it. We were greeted with a nice card and bottle of wine from the host. The cabin was a good size to accommodate 12 people, play room to entertain and a nice outdoor area to hang out. We would definitely rent it again.

Great Family Gathering Spot
We shared this rental with another family and found the house accommodated us all perfectly! We loved the circular layout of the 1st floor, the large eating table and the beautiful porch. Plenty of space to spread out or gather together with a great view of the lake in the distance it had everything we needed to enjoy our weekend in the mountains.

We really enjoyed this home. Overall the home is well kept and clean and has so much to offer. It is very comfortable and quiet. It's just a short 2 mile drive to the village. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location
This proprety was the perfect gateway for my family and friends. The location was great, close to rhe village and local markets, space was also just as described, we BBQ watching the subset from the beautiful patio and the game room was the 'to-be' spot every night.

Exactly What We Wanted
My wife and I wanted to celebrate her 30th with friends away from the city. This was a perfect getaway and is as advertised. Cooked, relaxed, & played games in a stress-free setting that allowed us to build memories we might not have made at a hotel.

Perfect start to summer
My husband brought 7 teenagers up to this fabulous property to celebrate surviving a year of online school and graduation. This home is perfect for large groups. Plenty of beds and bathrooms and gathering spaces indoors and out. It’s immaculate, super clean and very comfortable. The teens took over the den/game room while my husband and I enjoyed the beautiful living room. The home is set up on a hill and is very private. It has a great view of the lake through the trees and the star gazing was wonderful. The owners are wonderful a d easy to communicate with. We highly recommend this home for your Lake Arrowhead vacation!

Perfect Arrowhead getaway, Fully loaded with everything you will need!
My family/friends and I loved this home. Check in was a breeze, communication with Candice and Jeff was easy, clear, and very prompt! (Responded within 5 minutes both times I contacted them). My group literally did not leave the cabin at all. We had entertainment, fullly stocked kitchen, and everything we needed for the whole weekend. Thanks Candice and Jeff for making us feel at home in Arrowhead. 10/10 would recommend.

Great for families
We came in the last week of January with my sisters and their families. This cabin was perfect for a trip with lots of kids. It’s cozy and the kids loved bunking up in the room with multiple beds. Close to grocery shopping and Santa’s Village.

Magical White Christmas
HewLander Hideaway was with out a doubt, the best Christmas ever.
The Hewitt’s made it so beautiful for the holiday with lights, a Christmas tree fully trimmed and with so many personal touches. Truly unbelievable !!
Every room was spacious, from the kitchen, the dinning room, the game room, living room with the fireplace and the all the bedrooms including restrooms upstairs were perfect.
With about 2ft of snow, Jeff also supplied us with help by having the driveway cleared, and an extra shovel.
Actually, whatever we needed to make our stay more comfortable.
I’ve never experienced people so helpful and kind.
Our families stay was awesome and planning to come back as soon as possible.

RE: Very Appreciated
This was my family first time in the mountains and staying in a beautiful cabin. The host was amazing and answered any questions we had for our stay. It was one of the greatest experience of our lives. We loved it so much we will be returning next year. The cabin has the touch and feel of home. Great cabin for families and friends
Our group of 9 adults and 4 kids thoroughly enjoyed this cabin! There was plenty of space for us to all spend time together in the downstairs living room and game room. The kids (and adults) loved playing with the football table, dart board and shuffleboard. The long dining table was also able to accommodate our whole group which made it easy to enjoy meals together. The cabin had a gas BBQ outside which we used for some of our meals. Upstairs the bedrooms were well furnished and the beds were comfortable. There were also some toys and books for the kids to enjoy.
Jeff was easy to communicate with and replied quickly with answers to my questions.
The only suggestion I have for future guests is to bring extra toilet paper and paper towels if you have a large group. Only one extra roll of toilet paper was provided for each bathroom.
Overall I would definitely recommend this cabin to others!

Highly recommend
The property was private and secluded. The amenities inside were thoughtfully provided, with enough linens and towels. The beds were great with beautiful views. Close to everything in town. The air conditioning was awesome! I would choose this place again.

Beautiful view peaceful kid friendly home with lots of board games and entertainment for the whole family. Jeff the Owner was super nice and attentive with questions and concerns before and during our stay.

Nice Cabin, but AC didn't work
Beautiful cabin with great peek-a-boo lake views from the deck and kitchen. Large dining room table can fit a huge family! The beds and linens were comfy and clean. Check-in was a little wonky, but hopefully they'll get it all figured out soon. Our one big gripe with the place was that the AC didn't actually work. With our mid-July visit, we wanted a place that had AC. Well, the listing said AC, but it didn't work so it was pretty hot the whole time. If the AC had worked, I'd give it a 5.

Arrowhead Family Vacation
Great weather, amazing time with family at Arrowhead Lake Beaches, trails, Lake Gregory. Spent time running throughout the area and getting Strava Segments. Great time watching Great Outdoors in family room. Kids had a blast exploring and staying up in their room. Nice that all the kids were in one spacious room filled w books, DVD player. Kitchen was great. Kureg was a life saver. We used the grill outside. Made smores at night. Sunsets on the deck. Thank you for the opportunity to enjoy your property and amenities. Our second year going, and we hope to make it an annual activity. Medina Family.

Great Family Getaway
We arrived on a Friday and stayed two nights. The cabin is breathtaking, not to mention its surroundings and access to many fun activities only minutes away. The home owners go through great lengths to make their visitors feel at home, even leaving a book that comes well equipped with local restaurants, trails etc. Those two nights were more than enough to make us think of a next trip back.

My family and I had an amazing time! 3 families of 4 were able to fit comfortably in the lovely cabin. The host was very accommodating and friendly. We enjoyed the personal touches in the cabin...our names on the welcome sign, guest sign in, and personalize note with complimentary wine:) The location is perfect with beautiful views. Would love to make more memories in this particular cabin!
