Une très belle propriété, l’emplacement en plein centre ville est extra beaucoup de lieux à visiter aux alentours de la maison.

Une très belle maison parfaitement située en plein cœur de cette belle ville ; de grands espaces où se reposer, de beaux livres, une cuisine très bien équipée. Nous y étions à Noel et en dépit d'une météo peu clémente et des musées fermées en raison du covid, nous avons apprécié notre séjour. La piscine était un peu fraîche, mais tout a fait praticable. Merci à Eisabeth et Robin pour la parfaite communication et la générosité de leur accueil !

We were fortunate enough to have such a friendly and forthcoming host during our shortened stay in times of COVID. We needed to leave after only one night instead of 4. Nevertheless, Robin altered the booking without issues, showed us the very lovely apartment and recommended the best places to be in Avignon. We would have loved to stay longer and can hopefully catch up on the missed days another time with him!

The property is beautiful, location, rooms, decor and the beautiful indoor pool. We loved being able to walk straight out of our door and into the walled city. Avignon has many attractions but are car was parked in safe underground parking very close and belonging to the property, so we could easily take family day trips too.

The house is beautiful, and big enough for a large group. We had 8 adults who were not under each other’s feet. The owners have provided everything you need to have a comfortable stay. The house is located a very short walk to the big highlights in Avignon.

This lovely home is exactly as described. The location could not be better. We walked to everything. The home was very comfortable and the garden very private.

First of all we didn't expect that there was nobody to welcome us to the house (maybe that's normal, so don't consider this a complaint). When we finally found out how to open the door to the house and entered there was this overwhelming smell of honey scented diffusers. It was just too much. It was hot in the house so we went upstairs to turn on the airconditioning. We struggled to get it working and we were dripping with sweat. When it started working there was no airflow at all and it was a central airconditioning in all the 4 bedrooms. I believe the house was renovated 6 years ago, so I messaged the landlord who explained not to expect a 5 star luxury airconditioning experience as at is an old house. I didn't quite understand what that had to do with the airconditioning. In order to calm down we opened the complementary wine (which was nice). Also, the door to the garden didn't close properly, couldn't find any scissors in the house and there were a lot of private items in drawers, etc. There was also another issue that I mentioned to the Landlord and he told me that he would take care of this so I won't mention it in my review. It took me 2 days to get used to the house and I was a little bit upset because I paid a lot of money for the property and in their description it was described as a 5-star House. Overall: 2 bedrooms where nice and 2 I found rather stuffy. The decor of the kitchen is beautiful, but here and there not very practical. The garden was lovely. And the small indoor swimming pool was a treat.

Wow, what a wonderful comfortable apartment in the heart of Avignon with all the modern conveniences - could have stayed a month!

Absolutely loved the house! So charming, clean and quiet. The location was great. We were 5 women friends staying from California. We especially enjoyed the lovely courtyard area and ate many of our meals there. All 4 bedrooms were spacious and the beds comfortable. Really nice having a washer and dryer, dishwasher and well appointed kitchen. Cafes and restaurants steps away. There was only 1 toilet upstairs, but another downstairs. But there were 3 showers and a bathtub so we could all get ready fairly easily. An all together wonderful place to stay. We hope to return again.

A perfect oasis within the Papal city walls of Avignon. The little city square we were on was picturesque as well. The accommodations are lovely and spacious. Bedrooms are comfortable and well appointed. Kitchen was perfect sized for our family of 5 to relax and enjoy cooking together. Tips from the owners were appreciated and our favorite restaurant was steps away from our front door. E.A.T....a very special place. Loved our stay and the beautiful home we rented. Thanks so much!

This place easily accommodated our family of six adults during a week’s stay. Located within the walls of the city with direct access to major sights inside - and main thoroughfares outside - the city walls. Parking, indoor pool, and fully stocked home enabled us to thrive at our own tempos. Owner welcomed us on arrival and helped us get settled instantly.

We had 4 adults and 3 teenagers stay in December. The house has lots of space. Big living areas, big bedrooms. It is well located close to the everything. Honestly this is one of the few properties where the photos hardly do it justice. We were blown away when we walked in. The hosts were super helpful with great advice and a useful manual on the house and nearby facilities. Would totally stay here again and strongly recommend it to anyone.

My 3 friends and I were thrilled the second we opened the door and knew we would feel the character of Avignon throughout our stay.

We were family, 4 adults, 3 children (ages 6, 8 & 11) this location was perfect, close and easy walk to everything we wanted to see within Avignon. Easy access to the local bus stop right outside the gate, a little longer but still easy walk to main bus station & local train station.. We did use a taxi from the TGV station to the house since it was further away and not walkable for us.. We explored Avignon, easy walk to markets, bakeries, bread, cheese at our door step. We caught the bus over to Villeneuve across the river to see Fort St Andre & the gardens & their market on Thursday morning. We caught the bus from the main station to San Remy on Wednesday for their market but.... unfortunately they were having a Romanian Festival so the market was cancelled but the Festival was fun and we got to explore the monuments and Van Gogh's time in St Remy. Information is not always as it seems so check on specific scheduling.. Walking and pubic transportation so easy from this home.. The home..... was exactly what it was advertised and the pictures were spot on. The front entrance made me a little nervous when we first saw it since it was at the end of an alley across from a restaurant back entrance (we never heard any noise from he restaurant) and had very little character but once in the door it was magical. Plenty of room, everything we needed in the kitchen, baths & bedrooms. The pool was a huge advantage with the temperatures so hot during the day after walking and exploring a quick rinse off then splash in the pool and everyone was ready to hit the squares for a new and exciting place for dinner and I really don't think we missed ANY of the ice cream shops during our week there.. We did have a thunderstorm one night that knocked out the internet but a quick reset and all was well there and we were concerned about the pool and with a quick text to the owner he called us back w/I minutes to tell us it was all automatic and would run at set specific times and it did and was great.. Not sure why this is not listed as a 5 star house since it was everything we wanted and needed for a wonderful week in Avignon and surrounds..

Très grande maison avec 4 belles chambres dont 2, les plus spacieuses, donnent sur le jardin et la piscine. La literie est excellente. La maison est idéalement située et très calme. Nous avons été parfaitement accueillis avec en plus un petit cadeau que l'on sert très frais 😉. La piscine est magnifique. Tout est prévu pour que l'on passe un bon séjour.

Home is surprisingly spacious yet close to most everything within the walls of Avignon. The house worked great for our family of 5, with the kids especially enjoying the pool. The kitchen is well-stocked and the included parking spot in the nearby car garage is very easy to access, including getting into and out of town. We very much enjoyed our stay in the house and the host was proactive and responsive to all inquiries, etc.

Robin & Elizabeth, Your property was exactly what was required for a fantastic family vacation. Our grown family, including an infant grandson, had a wonderful vacation and your house facilitated the function as a home base and a place to relax and enjoy.The courtyard and the more than functional kitchen provided a backdrop for enjoying a glass of wine and many a family meal. It was fun to have the family cooking together and enjoying themselves in your well maintained property. Even the spectacular restaurant (E.A.T.) directly across the alley added to the experienced. The very nice owners provided us with more than one meal as the baby monitor worked in their restaurant and let us enjoy first class meals in a great little restaurant. Avignon was a great base that provided all the amenities that we needed and the drive to all of the historical sites and of course vine country was such that day trips were a memorable experience. This lovely home is just inside the medieval wall. There are 4 very good restaurants right around the corner and the Pope's palace is a short 5 minute walk. There are many small shops within 5-15 minute walk offering groceries, fresh baked bread, fresh gelato, coffee shops. There are many fine clothing and shoe stores along the way. The house comes with a garage parking space. Parking is at a premium inside the walled city, so this is extremely valuable and convenient. We found the house, as advertised, with 4 full bedrooms. There is one large, elegant, full bathroom on the second floor. 1 of the bedrooms has a shower and sink attached as an ensuite bathroom (but with no toilet). There is a half-bath on the first floor with a toilet and sink. The kitchen is large with open seating area. The house is equipped with full size gas range, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, and espresso machine. A full size washer dryer allowed us to travel light and do laundry during our stay. The house is clean and very well maintained. The outdoor patio is really nice. the pool is quite small...enjoyable for sitting in the warm water, sipping wine, and socializing. The owner was super helpful and responsive. We were traveling during a train strike. The owner anticipated a problem, contacted us ahead of time, and was very accommodating to adjust our arrival and departure dates so that we would be traveling on days when the train was not on strike. Being proactive in this way saved our vacation from being a stressful disaster. We are most appreciative of this owner!

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely house over the Christmas period. It has so much character and is beautifully presented. The property is well equipped and has every thing you need including a heated pool which our grandchildren had great fun in. I would imagine it would be lovely in the summer when you could open up the French doors onto the small patio. The house is well located in the centre of the town so a car isn't essential. If you want to go further afield it is easy enough to get to other towns either by bus or train. There are plenty of restaurants near by; we particularly liked Le Gout du Jour which is about a 5 minute walk away. There was a welcome pack on arrival which we thought was a nice touch and we found Didier very helpful. Information provided by Robin was also helpful and he always replied promptly to emails. Thank you for a great stay in your beautiful house in a lovely city.

Plenty of room to stretch out and relax. Everything you need to feel right at home. Will definitely stay there again on our next visit. Elisabeth and Robin were fantastic to work with and went above and beyond to make our stay very pleasant.

Oh my, what a beautiful home this is. We were warmly greeted by Didier with lots of goodies to help make our first day easy. The pictures do not do this home justice, it is so, well, luxurious is the word that comes to mind.. The kitchen is large and well stocked, the bedrooms beautifully appointed with comfortable beds, the master bedroom roomy and airy, living room could accommodate quite a group. We were only 4 people but it could quite easily be very comfortable for 8. The courtyard and pool area were so great to relax in after a long day exploring this interesting city or other surrounding areas. Don't miss Arles if you are a Van Gogh lover or a Roman history buff. Thank you Robin for a wonderful stay!!

From Avignon Central Railway station the house was within walking distance and easily found following the directions sent to us. A very warm welcome was received from Robin on our arrival and he provided us with helpful information. The house was lovely and clean, tastefully decorated with plenty of room for the eight of us and well equipped with everything we needed. Outside is a very peaceful walled garden, that we had many lovely meals in. Shops, bars and restaurants are all within walking distance. We had a fantastic holiday and would definitely stay again.
