The location and the villa layout was lovely . Two bathrooms, one sort of an ensuite if you close one of the top doors to one of the two lounge areas

The beds and pillows … owner needs to invest in better pillows and mattress toppers (especially on the two sofa beds) the springs were poking through abs became extremely hard to sleep on - even for my 2 year old who ended up most of the time in our bed (the master bedroom) as she couldn’t get comfortable and ‘hurting her back’ . A mattress topper would have been amazing! Needed a dryer installed! Great washing machine but very small clothes line to hang wet clothes and with no dryer took 2 days to dry things. Not good when with a 2 year old and carrying hand luggage only for a months trip! Keep an eye on the aircon too- there is a timer set, so the aircon goes off after 90 mins… the heatwave we experienced meant getting up several times in the night before learning how to change settings - it’s not easy and there are no instructions!! Also the aircon in the main bedroom and the kitchen dinning is behind a cupboard and curtains, so the window gets super cold? Those areas not so much- too rooms get nice and cool though Finally the house is behind (you have to walk through the park to get to house) a park and so there are lots of people outside the house at all times of day / night. Made for first 2 nights feeling a little worried , but all was fine

This property is a must when in Florence. I had a blast. Very high-end. I even took pictures to change some of the things in our house. Great finishes all around the house (bathrooms, kitchen, living room and bedrooms. The size of the rooms was excellent. The location also couldn't be better. You can even see Ponte Vecchio when you step outside the garden in front of the property. So you can walk everywhere. I will be back.

Excellent location, attractive, roomy apartment, very comfy beds, lots of more or less instant warm water and good pressure in the showers (a bit slow in the handbasins)

Tiny dark black kitchen with high end appliances but not well equipped with crockery (non induction frying pan for induction hob!) etc. Also strange cupboard/extractor unit over the hob with sharp edges and corners that are potentially lethal to anyone over 1m70. Quite mean with supplies - coat hangers, toilet rolls, kitchen basics. Only one three seater sofa (there were four of us) but room for more comfy chairs. Electricity tripped if you tried to boil a kettle with the heating on (it was November). Fortunately, this was one question she did answer and it was easy enough to fix. Host is very poor communicator.

we loved the location . the apartment was very beautiful and well appointed.

the floors were not very clean . the beds were not as comfortable as I had hoped for the price. a de-humidifier and fan for air circulation would have been a nice .
