Had a wonderful week with good friends. House was beautiful and very well equipped. Experience with John was great. Would recommend to anyone.

The house was great! It had everything we needed. The pool was very nice and just steps from the beach. Seeing the sunsets from the balcony was amazing. The house is about a 20 minute drive from Cape May. We really enjoyed our stay here.

This property was pristine…clean, neat and organized. Cleanliness is the most important amenity for us and John and Lynn did not disappoint. We had everything…beach towels, beach chairs, bath towels, soap (dish and clothes detergent). Pool was GREAT and SAFE with an alarm. We had 4 kids under six and we never worried that a child could sneak into pool area without the alarm going off. The house was well stocked with paper products (toilet paper, soap, ziploc bags, and trash bags too). We were amazed at the service we received from the owners!!! The house fit our family’s needs in every way possible. We couldn’t have asked for more. The owner was just a phone call or text away. He responded quickly when when contacted. The beach was never crowded and the waves were calm enough so our grandchildren felt comfortable enough to go in. The pool was also a hit. We paid the extra money to have the pool heated and we are so glad we did. It was worth the additional cost. I have to agree with Kurt’s review. The pictures were a little misleading and old. They made it it seem that the house was right on the beach. However, there is one house between you and the beach. You can still see the beach from all upper level decks but not a 180 degree view. But the beach was literally a few steps from our sidewalk. All the beds seem to be quite soft. So if you like that type of bed comfort you are in luck. For those of us who prefer or require a firm bed the bed were quite uncomfortable. But overall we give it a 5 star review.

This was our first time renting this home and we were very satisfied with the home and area. The host was great at communicating with me before, during and after the stay. The house was very clean and well stocked with necessities. My family was able to enjoy the heated pool! There is a fee but well worth it! The house has beautiful views of the beach and only steps to the sand!!! We are looking forward to renting it again.

Place was fantastic. Host John was very helpful. He kept in touch with us every single day. Place was above and beyond what we expected great location.

The property was a perfect layout for our family of three couples and one toddler. It is difficult to find accommodations that include three bedrooms with king/queen beds and en suite bathrooms AND a room appropriate for kiddos. The well equipped kitchen and family area combined with the beautiful decks were icing on the cake. John reached out on our arrival day to ensure all was as expected. Additionally, he was very responsive to my inquiries prior to our arrival. As others have said, the sunsets were amazing. VPK

This is a great house in a great location. The house was super clean when we arrived and John was regularly in touch with us every step of the way. The house is one house in from the beach which is not necessarily apparent from the listing. But it is situated with excellent views of the water and magnificent sunsets over the water. Only a few steps to the beach. House was well equipped. Would definitely love to stay here again!

We loved this house and it’s location! This house is steps from the beach. We could walk back and forth easily. Normally, at the end of a vacation, I’m ready to go home. This is the first time, “I didn’t want to leave”!

This property was perfect for our early October get away! The home offers generous space with a cozy, relaxing vibe! The beach is beautiful and just a few steps from the front door. The heated salt water pool and pool area made family fun times with our 4 yr old grandson for all of us. The water view from all the decks is beyond gorgeous. Thanks to John/Lyn for offering their property and for being excellent hosts throughout all phases of our trip!

We had an amazing time at John’s Property! The views were great and we LOVED the pool. It was very easy to get in some beach time and spend the rest of your day relaxing by the pool. We had a great time and look forward to coming back!

This house is so close to the beach. It is just a few steps to the water. So easy and nice with young kids. We can easily run back to the house and get things without feeling like it is a hike. John and his wife were excellent hosts, checking in and offering advice.

This place was absolutely amazing. The location was beyond perfect. We spent mornings on the sand and afternoons in the pool. We caught some spectacular sunsets from the balcony. The owners were wonderful to work with. We will be staying here again.

Our family agreed that this was the cleanest beach house we ever stayed in. Everything about this place was fantastic. We will definitely be back!

This was our first time vacationing in Cape May with extended family. We were immediately drawn to this property because of its proximity (mere steps) to the beach and for the heated private pool. We have 3 kids under six so the security features by the pool area and the family friendly layout of the house were just perfect for us. My parents are about to turn 80 and my sister is mobility impaired, so we were looking for a place to stay and just enjoy the house. This house was built for family vacations and has everything you'd need. As other reviewers have noted, the views of the sunset are amazing. We spent every evening watching the tide come in and the sunsetting with the exception of one evening where we watched a beautiful lightening storm in the distance. I highly recommend renting from John and Lynn if you are looking for a relaxing time at the beach. Check-in and check-out our straightforward and they are super responsive to any quick questions.

This was a wonderful experience for my family. Home and location are great. Steps to the beach make it great for sunset walks and for grandchildren to make sand castles.

We had such a lovely time at this house right by the beach! Very spacious and clean with great layout to maximize views of the water. We all agreed we saw the best sunsets we collectively ever have at this property! Though weather was still a bit chilly in March, we got awesome walks and playtime on the beach literally steps from the front door. John was very responsive and proactive in keeping us informed of opportunities in the area as well as notable weather changes. Our children did not want to leave! We only got them to go with the agreement that we will return again!

Everything, absolutely everything was perfect! Beautiful house, very comfortable beds, great space and beautiful sunsets right from the living room and deck.

We had a small gathering for Christmas. Water's Edge was amazing. John let us decorate for the holiday!! The home is perfect--the sunsets amazing! Definitely recommend!

We planned a family Thanksgiving back in July, and while things changed for us quite a bit, our getaway at Water’s Edge was magical. I’m pretty sure John (owner) even arranged the beautiful weather for us, since he had everything else covered as well. The location, the views and the house (with its many amenities) were the perfect antidote to these crazy times we find ourselves in. We will be back!!!

The property was better than described. It was clean and if there were any issues they were answered/addressed immediately. The house had everything you could need and the views and beach access were amazing! We will definitely be back!

With a baby and a 2 year old, there is nothing better than having the "beach" (bay front) at your front door, a large, safe outdoor deck overlooking the bay right off of the family room/dining room/ kitchen, a heated pool and a quiet cul-de-sac to make 24/7 playing a possibility. Town, vineyards, great take-out restaurants only a short drive away. Owners were incredibly responsive and helpful, we would go back in a heart beat.

This was the perfect house for our family gathering. Super super clean! I loved that 3 bedrooms are en suite so each family had their own space and the kids shared the bunk room. Property owner was super attentive and responsive. We would definitely consider renting again. Thanks!

The house did not disappoint! Amazing views of the bay and beautiful sunsets. The house was very comfortable and open. The location to downtown was just a short distance and easy drive. Beach was clean and the pool was wonderful to have. The owners were very communicative and accomidating. Was an overall wonderful trip!

3 generations of my family met in Cape May at a beautiful house on the beach. It was a wonderful vacation!

This property was the perfect place for us to gather as a family during the COVID-19 climate. We all had intentions of going out a few times during the week, but between the hospitality of John and Lynn, his house, the location and the sunsets, we never did. It was truly an unforgettable vacation for all eight of us (grandchildren included) and hopefully a new tradition of staying at this magnificent home.
