We could not access the property and could not contact the host, we still have not received a refund or deposit back

Nothing, could someone from Booking.com could contact the owner and me would make me feel better
It is a nightmare for me on 29/7, I was told the property is not ready until 18:00 for cleaning, and then I need to find somewhere to stay and walk for 3 hours with all my family, but that is not the end, the owner told me that the cleaner did not left the key for me, so that I need to wait longer until she came back........ And then I got the key at around 20:00.
the room is quite dirty, especially the sofa, carpet.....
I am speechless and wordless to express how disappoint of me and how big trouble to me, and waste my day in Nottingham. All I need is a complaint and justice by Booking.com.

Accommodation potentially OK, but not clean, some damage to property, dirty lounge rug, tired furniture.
Tried twice and left messages for keys to get in. Rude telephone answer on third attempt after many minutes waiting.
No obvious car parking on-site.

it was in a great location for what we needed and a great size for us all. the kitchen had good. clean appliances
it was a shame that the previous guests had damaged the property quite badly which the host did explain upon arrival. the property could have still been cleaned better with sufficient toilet roll for six guests. the decor is run down and the property was advertised as having a sofa bed which it did not and we did need this, the host was helpful and provided a mattress for the living room floor but this mattress was very unclean

The location and facilities were perfect for our visit, close to family in Wollaton.
We needed somewhere to stay that could accommodate all my family together in one place.

do not book this booking been waiting 5 weeks for my £250 deposit back. contacted the owner numerous times and even gone through booking.com and still not received

The host was flexible for us about how the deposit was handled and around check in times. She communicated promptly and was pleasant to talk to.
Its clearly a case of "once bitten, twice shy", I recognise that significant damage can be done to a property in a short time, but a £250 deposit on a £138 stay felt excessive.
The accommodation was clean but there were breakages everywhere with a number of electric radiators hanging off the wall, one of which was not working. This was early December and a very cold night, but i cant help feeling that this contributed to our inability to make the property warm.
The bed in our room was unfortable - old flannel sheet, pilled to a rough sandpaper consistancy and you could feel the springs.
The rug in the lounge was stained and most furniture was quite delapidated, especially the dining chairs which felt like they could collapse at any time.
On checking in we were told to give the host a ring 5mins before we we were ready to leave, no checkout time was discussed. We rang at 0930, the host did not arrive until 1115 resulting in onward delays and unsceduled changes to our plans.

Laundry - there were no laundry facilities other than the downstairs launderette which appeared to be run by the host and which was closed throughout our stay

The property was the perfect location for us, as we were visiting an exhibition at the University. We were given complimentary tea coffee and milk, which was ideal, as we were staying for 1 evening, so we didn't need to buy our own.
I don't mind paying deposits, but this was not listed in the information of the property before booking. It was only mentioned in the reviews. I was not expecting the deposit to be so much for 1 night, and I was not happy, as it took nearly 3 weeks to get the deposit back. The host did not seem that bothered about getting the money back to me and Booking.com customer service was not helpful at all.
There is damaged/broken furniture throughout the property, the dining table, sofa-bed, 1 bedroom had a broken wardrobe and chest of drawers in it. Most of the mugs in the kitchen were chipped and there was not one real teaspoon in the place, we did find one plastic one.

The apartment is large enough and with comfortable beds
The host. At first, she promised to wait for me to collect my keys and passed back the money upon checking the apartment, but she didn't show up and not even leave a message to me. After I called her, she just asked me to put back the key to her shop, and said the deposited will be transferred back to me on the coming Monday. Of course, nothing is transferred and even no response of my message. At the end, the money is transferred back via the chasing from Booking.com over 2 weeks time.

There were 5 of us and with having 3 rooms it meant 2 shared and 1 had one on there own which was a bonus, the living room is spacious and it has two toilets
it seemed the booking had been forgotten about even though it had been booked since January and despite a 2pm-3pm check in being authorised, we had to wait until 4:30pm to actually get into the property

There were 3 bedroom which was a must for our stay 2 adults 3 children. The location was great, close to the deer park and where we needed to be.
The apartment was dirty, there were broken glasses in the cupboards, not enough cutlery the eat, kettle too dirty to make a brew. The bin was full on arrival. No parking, we were asked to park at the front of the property, signage from council is maximum stay 2 hours! Nearly 8 pm I was asked by the apartment owner to move my vehicle so they should get out! Twice after receiving the keys the apartment was entered by staff without our knowledge! Providing bath towels which should have already been inside.

The sofa and beds were very comfortable and things were easy to locate thanks to being labelled. Being near a shop was very convenient and we didn't have any real issues.
We did have to clean out the grill tray before use and purchase items such as scissors, tin/bottle opener, baking tray and glasses.

it was a great location for visiting the Christmas lights at woolaton park, the reason for our visit. it was lovely and warm, the towels and linens were fresh and clean, the bed was very comfy and the bathrooms and kitchen were spotless.
We had the whole apartment to ourselves.
I would advise arriving after 4pm on a school day if you need a parking place. The whole area is chaotic with school pick ups and all parking is either limited to 2 hours or permit holders only until after 4pm.
We had the seemingly common problem here of having to wait an hour after the agreed time to pick up a key and there was no toilet roll. Annoying, but there is a shop next door so not a crisis!
More concerning was the open bed settee (broken) and piles of bed clothes in the living room with food and clothing underneath when we moved it. Broken chairs, disconnected smoke alarm, dirty plates put in cupboards and no washing up equipment to deal with them.
