Nice stylish house in calm neighbourhood
We had a great stay in this very nice and clean house. The garden is great we took all meals outside and enjoyed the calmness. It is a bit challenging to get by car into town. We had our bikes with us which is a good way to move around. All in all we had a great time with our two dogs and can highly recommend this house.

Goed verblijf op toplocatie
Alles in orde, fijn huis op toplocatie . Minpunt bedmatrassen zijn aan vervanging toe, erg heet op zolder in zomer en een echt koffieapparaat . Ov goed met eigen auto lastig door druk ongeregeld verkeer om bijvoorbeeld in centrum te komen. Stranden perfect en restaurantjes genoeg op 20 min loop afstand

Süßes Haus in perfekter Lage für Stadt- und Naturliebhaber
Das Häuschen hat alles, was der Frankreichliebhaber sucht: Gute Küche und Betten, gemütliches Wohnzimmer und gutes Bad. Außerdem einen hübschen Innenhof zum Grillen mit Blick auf die Felsen. Guter Bäcker und kleiner Supermarkt gleich um die Ecke, Badestrand fußläufig 5 Minuten. Mit ÖPNV gelangt man für kleines Geld bis in die Stadtmitte am alten Hafen, in die andere Richtung zum Wandern in die Calanques. Was will man mehr. Volle Punktzahl für dies liebenswerte Unterkunft und die netten Vermieter! Jederzeit wieder.

Ein rundherum angeneher Aufenthalt in der Nähe von Marseille, Cassis und La Ciotat
Wir haben uns in dem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist liebevoll eingerichtet und mit allem, was man im Alltag braucht, sehr reichhaltig ausgestattet. Es hat wirklich an nichts gefehlt! Es gab sogar eine Möglichkeit auf dem Grundstück 4 Fahrräder unterzustellen, ohne dass dies die Attraktivität des Außenbereichs eingeschränkt hätte.
Die Highlights für uns waren:
Die ruhige Lage, kurze Wege zum Meer und in die Calanques, die Patisserie nebst anderen Einkaufmöglichkeiten gleich um die Ecke. Eine kleine Bibliothek mit interessanter Literatur sowie Informationen und Kartenmaterial zur näheren und weiteren Umgebung machten eigene Recherchen überflüssig.
Nicht zu vergessen: Christine und Marc, ihr seid sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber.

Gemütliches Haus mit allem Urlaubskomfort
Wir waren mit der Familie und unseren Hunden Anfang Oktober hier. Es ist ein gemütliches, schönes Haus und mit allem ausgestattet, was man für die Ferien benötigt. Sehr zentral zu den Wanderwegen der Calanques. Mit dem Bus ist man in kürzester Zeit mitten in Marseille. Die Strände sind fußläufig erreichbar. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es in der Nähe. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohlgefühlt! Die Vermieter, Christine und Marc, sind sehr freundlich und nett. Wir würden das Haus jederzeit wieder mieten. Vielen Dank!

Excellent séjour dans une maison très agréable dans un quartier calme à proximité des plages. De très bons plans partagés par les propriétaires qui nous ont permis de passer d'excellentes vacances entre amis et en famille.

Traumurlaub zwischen Großstadt, Strand und den Calanques
Das Haus entsprach genau der Beschreibung. Christine hat uns bei der Ankunft freundlich begrüßt und über die wichtigsten Dinge informiert. Die Lage ist top. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind fußläufig erreichbar, zum nächsten, großen Supermarkt sind es ca 3km. Hier bekommt man alles: Frischen Fisch, Obst, Gemüse...
In der direkten Nähe sind mehrere Strände . Deutsche Touristen sucht man lange. Man ist mitten in Frankreich. Perfekt. Die Calanques sind 5 Minuten entfernt. Herrliche Wanderungen mit tollen Aussichten. Aber bitte beachten: Im Sommer sehr heiß und viele Höhenmeter. Der kleine Garten ist ein Traum. Hier haben wir gelebt, sobald wir zu Hause waren. Deutsche Fernsehprogramme gibt es nicht, dafür aber sehr viele Mücken. 🙄� Wir kommen aber immer gerne wieder

Une trés bonne adresse pour découvrir Marseille et ses environs
Nous avons passé une excellente semaine à Marseille.
La maison est très agréable.
Les plages sont toute proches.
Marc et Christine louent une maison où il ne manque rien et de plus sont très attentionnés et donnent de très bons conseils pour les restaurants et les visites.
Une location à recommander.

A comfortable gem
The charming house is well and accurately described . We were glad to find a washing machine in addition to what was mentioned.
The garden is lovely and private and the neighborhood very quiet and pleasant. We were there the 3rd week of June and never felt too warm inside the house. The bakery and closest market are lierally within 5 minute slow walk and both are good quality. The house is more than well supplied with linen, pots, dishes and hot water.
We didn't get to meet Marc but were beguiled by Christine and her friend who are down to earth , funny and creative. Christine suggested that if we didn't want to have a long, hard hike into the Calanques we could reserve at a restaurant and thus be allowed to drive in. This was a great suggestion for us lazy septuagenarians.
We spent about half of our week in Marseille and half in or near the calanques. As others have said it's a good balance. The ferry from Pointe Rouge into the Vieux Porte is great and we really enjoyed our 8 calanques boat tour from Cassis. Thabk you Christine and Marc!

Nice holiday
We stayed in the house with two couples and two babys. The house was very nice for that! We had a pool in the backyard which was perfect.
Christine and Marc were so nice and helpful. Always asking if we need something. Thank you very much!

Endroit de rêve!
Nous recommandons vivement cette location dans laquelle nous avons passé un excellent séjour! La maison est idéalement située: à proximité immédiate de la plage et des superbes calanques, tout en étant proche du centre de Marseille. Christine et Marc sont aux petits soins pour leurs locataires, ayant notamment pensé à tous les petits détails pour que l'on sente bien dans leur maison et c'est réussi! Merci!

Un vrai bonheur
Maison très agréable et apaisante dans un quartier très calme à deux pas du parc des calanques pour de belles escapades dans la garrigue avec panoramas magnifiques sur la mer, mais aussi du grand et beau parc Pastrè pour les balades de notre compagnon à quatre pattes.Le bus au bout de la rue pour rejoindre le vieux port est une véritable aubaine. Nous avons passés une belle semaine entre garrigue, mer, et la belle ville de Marseille.Un grand merci à Christine et Marc pour leur accueil et tous les bons conseils. Nous avons quitté la maison avec l'espoir d'y revenir !!

The only downside to the location is the time to city centre--not due to distance, but due to traffic. Transit is good, but there is only one route into and out of Montredon, so on warm weekends the traffic is fierce. Which actually just means we stayed close and enjoyed a relaxing time. Marc and Christine's house is in a perfect location, and we had enough beds for five of us in the family. The house is beautiful and the garden out back is relaxing. We had everything we needed for a wonderful stay, and cooked many meals in the house. The bakery around the corner is perfect for breakfast, and the walk to the ocean is only 15-20 minutes, and bus stops are nearby as well. You can ride the bus to explore the nearby National Park. The only misunderstanding was the $400 in cash for the deposit that was lost in translation. It would be much better for those coming from the U.S. if the deposit uses the credit card when booking the rental. However, Christine and Marc were very understanding, and there were no problems at all. Highly recommend their home for rental if you are visiting Marseille or the National Park area.

The house was fully equipped for cooking meals - it is as shown in the photos. Loved Marseille - just the right amount of funk, culture and the sea. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely relaxed weekend catching up with old friends. The house is very clean and spacious with a lovely outdoor terrace and garden where you can enjoy a meal and a glass or two of wine. The house is well situated to enjoy a visit to the Calanques or a day in Marseille. We took a bus from the bottom of the road and enjoyed the views along the coast on the way into the city! Also enjoyed breakfast each morning from the Boulangerie at the end of the street. A great wee house for adults or families to visit! Many thanks Marc and Christine for your hospitality.
