Villa con vista stupenda sulla scogliera di Cap Canaille, vista mare al primo piano, nella tranquillità e a 5 minuti a piedi dal paese, dal porto e dalla spiaggia. Cassis è un paese dall'accesso molto difficile e poter andare al paese e alla spiaggia a piedi è un aspetto considerevole. La villa può accogliere 12 persone con le sue 6 camere, ognuna con il proprio bagno (con doccia e/o vasca). Una delle camere è al piano terra per le persone con mobilità ridotta. La villa ha 2 salotti di cui un angolo piano, una sala da pranzo e una bella cucina, 4 WC. Il salotto si affaccia sul giardino e la piscina. La villa è molto chiara e aperta sul giardino. La piscina è protetta per i bambini da un riparo scorrevole che assicura una sicurezza totale e ci sono molte sdraio. Nel giardino, ci sono un barbecue e una terrazza coperta con divano e tavolo dove fare colazione e cenare al coperto. Lovely villa with fabulous secure pool which was very important with two crawling babies. Unfortunately the open staircase wasn’t quite so child friendly.
Although there were fans in each room, the villa was very warm even in mid September.
The location was perfect, close to the Town Centre, bus stop and supermarket.

We spent 2 weeks in this lovely house: A total of 12 people (incl 5 kids and 2 seniors).
The house itself is great and well equipped: It has 6 bedrooms, 5 on the upper floor and 1 on the ground floor. 5 of the rooms are rather small, but large enough and all have their own bathroom.
Outside, there are 3 seating areas designed for 8-10 persons each. But, by moving one table and 2 chairs, we were able to create 2 seating areas for 12 each - perfect.
There is always a space outside to be in the shade or in the sun.
The outside kitchen comes with a gas stove and a big fridge. The outaide aink and dishwasher did not work bc. of a water leak shortly before our stay but I guess will be fixed soon.
The big, built in barbecue is nonfunctional, but the host has already put up a big standalone charcoal grill.
The way to the (really fine pebble) beach is downhill about 10 minutes. The warnings were not necessary: Our two seniors (both about 75 years old, one with a bad leg) could walk down and up without issues!
There is a supermarket in easy walking distance as well as several smaller stores down in the city. Easy to get fresh beguettes and croissants for breakfast.
The pool is great to refresh and relax. There were a little too much chemicals in (red eyes) but the host took our suggestion and tries to improve.
The host was very friendly and welcoming. She takes good care of the house and expects the same from the guests.
All in all a superb experience, 100% recommendation!

There were six of us staying at this property and it was more than adequate for our needs. The pool area and Terrace was lovely and we had many good times out there. There are plenty of bathrooms and toilets and the overall facilities were very good. Cassis is very hilly, but the location of this villa was superb. Probably five minutes walk to the town and not a steep climb back up at all. Great location for the local supermarket and bus stop at the end of the quiet road on the main road. Made getting to Cassis station extremely easy and allows us to have a day out in Marseille and another in sanary sur mer. It was unusually warm for the time of year and, being from a colder climate, air-conditioning would have been nice in the evenings although the provided fans did help. Would highly recommend and would definitely return.

Wonderful spot to spend a week after a bike and barge trip. Home is close to harbour and grocery store, pool was lovely!

The linens were appalling- poor quality, ripped and bloodstained. These were changed by the owner at our request on the first day. All linens were bubbly and old - not what you’d expect in a house which was not cheap. Distinct smell of drains in some of the bedrooms. Poor quality saucepans. Had to clean all of the the crockery before use. Great location, pool and garden, let down by all of this really. We were two professional couples travelling and expect more from a rental at this price point.

We were a group of 10 adults and we came to Cassis to celebrate some big birthdays. The house is lovely, the main bedroom with terrace has stunning views of Cap Canaille which is gold and beautiful in the late .
afternoon.
We tended to cook in most evenings and the house is pretty well equipped with dishes and utensils. The BBQ was easy to use and big enough for lots of food!
The pool area is lovely and there are several sun loungers and seating areas. The pool was cold ( first week of April) but the bold and brave took a dip as the weather got warmer.
We absolutely loved the walk to the calanques which was stunningly beautiful but quite a hike and steep in parts.. We also took the boat trip which was a relaxing way to see them but the hike has the best views. Other activities included the beautiful Route Des Cretes which is a wonderful cliff top road with lots of viewpoints, a day trip to Aix and a drive to the village of La Cadiere D’Azur ( a hillside village with great views and lots of winding streets with shops and cafes).
Cassis is a lovely little town and only a 7 minute walk from the house - there are lots of shops, bars and restaurants to try as well as a market.
We loved the area and will definitively be back!

Fantastic house in the heart of Cassis
We spent an unforgettable week among friends (8 adults, 4 children) in this spacious house located at a 7 min walk from the town center. The house is as described and has all the necessary amenities. All the rooms have a shower, but only one also has a toilet. 3 separate toilets are also available throughout the house. One of the room is very large, with a very nice and large bathroom, nice terrasse and superb view of the cliff and sea. The outside is great with pool (which can be covered), nice flowers, and 3 large tables for groups. The barbecue was not functional when we were there (as told by the owner) but two braseros with charcoal were available and worked well. The house fits about 4 cars and is locked by a convenient automatic gate. We did not need the cars to go around town or do groceries but be aware that there is a steep hill from town to the house (would be hard for older folks especially under the heat). Be also aware that sheets and towels as well as cleaning come at an extra cost. The owner is very responsive. In summary, this is a wonderful house for a large group and kids and it is very highly recommended.

Villa bien équipée, et très bien située à Cassis, proche du port, de la plage et des commerces. Villa très agréable avec douche ou bain pour chaque chambre, très vastes pièces de séjour, belle piscine, bon BBC avec table et banc, belle terrasse avec plusieurs coins à manger.

Maison très bien placée, à 5 mn du port, pratique, chaque chambre a une salle se douche , jardin magnifique, propriétaire attentionnée et répondant aux demandes si besoin.

Wir waren zu elf in den Villa und alles war super schön. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett.

Grande maison, parfaitement localisée. Quelques améliorations pourraient être ajoutées au niveau des équipements, et a ce tarif les draps et serviettes devraient être fournis, c'est le seul point négatif. Sinon, la maison est agréable et on s'y sent bien. Adapté aux jeunes enfants.

Das grosse Haus eignet sich sehr gut für Gruppen. Es hat ausreichend Platz im Haus und Garten. Alle Schlafzimmer verfügen über ein eigenes Badezimmer.

Family holiday
We were a group of 11, age range 3-72.
The location is great. Even the older members of the group managed the short steep hill back from the town. Bénédicte and her husband responded well to our requests for info and help. It was very useful having them living so close. We tried not to abuse this proximity and only contacted them when we need help or replacements
The villa was well priced for such a location and size. With hindsight, we should have paid more attention to the toilet arrangements when booking. We Brits believe that en-suite bedrooms include a toilet as well as washing facilities. Not so in France. Only one of the six bedrooms had a toilet within the bathroom and otherwise there was one toilet on the upper floor for 6 adults and 3 children and 3 on the ground floor where there is one bedroom. Bénédicte explained this to us before we went but we didn’t fully understand the impact it would have. We knew there was no aircon in the villa and again we underestimated how important to us that would be. The temperatures were unusually high even for Cassis. There was a small fan per room which was helpful at night as we couldn’t open the bedroom windows because of the mosquitoes which are always with us at that time of year.
Neither of these issues were the owner’s fault. We did have a lot of fun at the villa especially the children who loved the pool and just being in and around the villa. I feel we got value for what we paid. Previous renters seem to be unconcerned by the issues we had so I can only assume we are just too set in our ways to improvise. The villa is clearly a much loved family home. My comments are more about our personal preferences. Bénédicte runs a tight ship and she will ensure that all stages of the booking process and subsequent stay run as smoothly as she can. I wish future renters a very happy, relaxing holiday.

Magnifique villa avec piscine
Superbe villa, bien placée (moins de 10 minutes à pied du centre et de la plage). Les chambres sont toutes très confortables, chacune avec sa salle de bain.
La piscine est très agréable aussi, bien pour les grands et pour les petits. Et plusieurs coins pour manger dehors avec différentes ambiances selon l'heure de la journée.

Tolles Haus in perfekter Lage mit ausreichend Platz und sehr guter Infrastruktur.
Mit der Unterkunft waren wir sehr zufrieden. Was allerdings ärgerlich ist das für die Endreinigung vor Ort 200% mehr verlangt wurde als ursprünglich ausgemacht. Somit werde ich im nächsten Jahr nicht mehr über diese Agentur buchen.

Résidence idéale pour profiter de Cassis
La villa est très bien située pour profiter du port et du centre ville à 5 minutes à pied. Le jardin est magnifique et agrémenté de petits coins où l’on peut se détendre à souhait.
La villa elle-même permet une indépendance totale pour chacun des couples. La suite parentale est particulièrement reposante avec sa vue sur cap Canaille,
Je souhaiterais vivement réaliser un séjour en été pour profiter de la piscine.

We were a group of 11 people (3 years to 49 years). Perfect sized house with perfect location in beautiful Cassis. We made all the meals in the outside kitchen and spent hours and hours in the nice swimmingpool area. Benedicte was a very helpful hostess. We can highly recommend this house for families and groups of friends.
