We had an amazing time at Jenny’s place! The home was absolutely beautiful, updated and inviting, with a beach view. The pool was a total plus for our family gathering. Jenny was easy to work with, responded quickly, and allowed us to check in early. If you are looking for a beautiful, large open concept home for your next family gathering close to restaurants and the beach, this is the place for you! 10/10 recommend!

We had a wonderful week! The house and location were everything we needed. Great communication with the owner, Jenny. Very easy walk to the beach and the pool was great to come home to at the end of the day. Will definitely rent again!!

Family Tides was the ideal vacation home for our extended family! The layout worked great for three generations (grandma, siblings w/ spouses, and our five 20-something kids). Appreciated the very well-stocked kitchen and extra amenities including use of beach chairs, cart and umbrella. The pool and two porches were lovely with tons of seating options. Super quick walk to the beach. Also very close walking distance to the pier and restaurants/bars. We enjoying longer morning walks up to Benjamin's for coffee and bagels. The general town vibe on the 4th was celebratory and family-oriented. Jenny was great to communicate with too!!

Family Tides was as pictured, beautiful, clean and great location. We had 6 adults and 5 children ranging from 6 years to 11 months and the house and pool were amazing. The host, Jenny, was great to work with. Our family said they wanted to come back again! Thanks for a wonderful time!!

Stayed at this excellent place and had a fantastic experience. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and felt very safe. The weather was perfect, adding to the enjoyment of the stay. The host was also very welcoming and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Repeat customer and find this place has it all. The house accommodates all of us with ease and comfort. The location is second to none with all that is offered in the area. Just blocks from the beach, walk to stores and restaurants, as well as a municipal park blocks away with playground, pickleball and tennis courts. The real bonus is the heated inground pool.

The property was amazing!! Very very well equipped and the best pool area we’ve ever had in 20+ years of staying in Myrtle Beach. Jennifer was wonderful through it all, and we also got to check in an hour early!!

Family of 6 enjoyed the beautiful home less than 200 steps from the beach (yes...my daughter counted). Well decorated and stocked with everything to make for a great week. The private pool was enjoyed by all as was the large deck on the main level for evening gatherings and chit chat. Walking distance to many restaurants and even a late night ice cream cone. And when you had enough of that the beds were very comfy to end the day.
I would definately recommend to anyone looking to visit Surfside Beach.

It was our second time staying here, and we are hoping to return again. Our family enjoys the very short walk to the beach and the pool is a special bonus. The house has everything we need and the communication is always great!

We have stayed at this property the past several years! There is no need to look for any other property to spend our family vacation. Jennifer the owner is wonderful! From the initial booking to check in she has stayed in contact and made sure to let us know if needed she is always available during our stay with any questions. The house is maintained very well, clean and in an awesome location. The pool is nice size and great to have after a day at the beach just to lay on a raft and relax! We look forward to this vacation as a family every year and have complete confidence in the place we are staying at. Kitchen is nicely stocked! Plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms for the 8 of us. If your looking at this review, don’t hesitate to book the house you won’t be disappointed!

This house was in a fantastic neighborhood very quiet but close to the beach and restaurants. The pool was a great size for kids. We had nine in our party and had plenty of space. Our host was available if we needed anything. This is a great choice for a relaxing vacation.

An absolutely fabulous home! Nicely appointed, well stocked, and clean! Ocean view, lovely pool, quick walk to the beach and restaurants. Jennifer is an amazing host. Great property
Property was fantastic and just as advertised. Check-in and check-out couldn’t have been easier due to just needing the code for the door. Not having to keep up with a key was one less worry as well. Our group was two families of four and we had plenty of room to dine together or spread out when the kids wanted to separate. We cooked in most nights and the kitchen was well stocked with us having to buy nothing other than charcoal for the grill. We brought our own beach chairs and umbrellas but those weren’t needed due to the owner having a storage bin in the garage with plenty of chairs, beach toys, umbrellas, and even a bike that one of the kids took for a ride one evening. The owner was extremely responsive to the one minor issue we did have with the garbage disposal not only responding quickly but having someone out the next day to fix it.
Five stars for both the owner and the property. Would definitely stay here again.

Awesome
This is our 2nd year of renting this home for our family vacation. The house is very nice and well kept! The pool is nice size and well kept as well. The owner Jennifer is always available with any questions that may arise. We look forward to rent this house next year for our family vacation. Prior to last year, we have rented many homes in Surfside but we found this gem and look forward to many years of family vacation at this house.

Best vacation ever!
We just spent our Fourth of July week at Family Tides, and could not have hoped for a better stay. Our family group of nine thoroughly enjoyed our time in the house, at the beach and by the pool. The accommodations were excellent, and Jennie, our host, was particularly helpful. After the deluge on July 4th flooded the pool, she personally came over to help restore it to working condition, and we never missed a beat during the rest of the week. I would unhesitatingly recommend this property for its convenient location, quality of the premises and ease of use from booking to end-of-stay.

Great place for families!
This property is in a perfect location, super close to beach, the area was not crowded, but still a close drive to many places if you choose to adventure out as well. All of our adult children decided within the first day that they would like to return here for our future family vacations.

Beautiful
Our family have been renting different homes in Surfside the past 5 years and by far this house was our favorite. The home was spacious, clean, well equipped & nicely decorated! 1 block from beach, very easy walk! Neighborhood is very nice! Pool was nice size and heated but the water temperature was very refreshing. The owner was very nice to deal with during the booking process. She made herself available during our stay if we needed anything. She checked in by phone with us mid week to make sure we weren’t in need of anything and enjoying our stay. We will definitely be renting again for our family vacations in the future.

Everything about this place and the owner is amazing. Neighborhood, proximity to the beach, proximity to restaurants, the house itself, the pool, short drive to Myrtle and Broadway at the Beach…amazing. Could not be any happier with our stay. Thank you Jennifer for an amazing trip.

Great place to stay!!!
This was an amazing house to stay in. It had all the comforts of home. Great location, close to the beach and restaurants and fun activities. The weather wasn’t good but it was a great relaxing week. We highly recommend this house. The owners we amazing!

The family especially enjoyed the attractive spacious interior of the house, it’s many balconies and especially the heated pool.
The proximity to the beach was also a plus. Communication with the owner was exceptional!

The entire process from the online search to the reservation was flawless. Numerous communications with the owner leading up to our stay were always friendly, courteous and responded to quickly. The entire family was thrilled with the house, the amenities and the location to the beach.

The pool was so convenient to have although the beach was only a 5 min walk away. The bars and restaurants nearby were perfect! A great mix of night life (well covid night life) and delicious food! The home was so spacious and had everything we needed. There were 2 huge balconies where we spent most of our time. You can see the ocean waves from the rocking chairs ❤️ We are already planning our next trip and we will definitely be staying here again!

Perfect Vacation Rental
Had an amazing time, beach house was super comfortable, couldn’t ask for a better vacation. This was my 2nd time staying at this rental and the owners never disappoint, 100% recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the Myrtle beach / Surfside area.

Relaxing vacation
The house itself was very nice and everything worked pretty well the only setback was that the pool did not seem to be maintained properly. My nephew has a rental 1 mile away and he has been having trouble with pool maintenance people I’m thinking that the owners need to check behind their pool maintenance person we only saw him stop By one time and he just looked at the pool and then drove back off he didn’t test the chemicals or anything and I have a pool and when the pump was running there was hardly any power so I believe it needed to be back washed so if they can get the pool maintenance under control this would be an excellent excellent place to stay. The only other thing was there is no outside shower to rinse off before and after swimming.

Clean and comfortable
Great property and location in Surfside Beach! We enjoyed the pool and the beach. The house is well equipped and clean with plenty of room. We did rent a golf cart and had fun driving around the streets and to and from the beach (although the beach is super close). We cooked all of our meals due to COVID and found the kitchen met all of our needs. We would highly recommend!

Wonderful beach vacation!
We had a lovely stay at Family Tides this past week. The house is beautifully decorated and incredibly well appointed - it is honestly like staying at a friend's house instead of a rental property!! The space was perfect for our two families - updated rooms with TVs, comfy new mattresses, lots of room for everyone. The walk to the beach is short and easy, and the pool was fantastic. We will definitely be back!
