We can't say enough good things about this area or this home. My wife and I love Mystic and all of its charm and splendor. The food is out of this world, the attractions are delightful and the people are wonderful as well. Hope really has thought of everything as far as the amenities go. My wife is on several injectable medications and we forgot to bring a sharps container, but there was one under the bathroom sink. I bought two rolls of dog poop bags but that wasn't enough for our three happy puppies but there was an entire box of them for our use on the table when you walk in. She left us a pastry to bake in the freezer and when they say linens are provided they're not kidding. In the past that meant a towel for each person but here the whole closet was stocked! I could go on and on but you get the idea! Thank you again for sharing your lovely home with us!

This house was absolutely wonderful! It had everything we needed. Well appointed, with 4 bedrooms, ( king mattresses) Everything you might need is there. From soap, shampoo, dryer, ice maker, to lovely linens, and blankets. The A/C works terrific, as did all the appliances! Hope offered everything you might need in a house and more. She is and was very accommodating to our questions and needs. The house itself is well situated to Mystic, Foxwoods, and Mohegan. We took advantage of all Look Forward to returning!

The house had everything you would want! It was beautifully decorated and comfortable. From the essentials to all the extras you wouldn’t have expected. You don’t have to bring a thing from home. We all loved it!

Our 8 person family had a lovely 5 day vacation at Merritt Farm hosted by Hope who couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. We had plenty to do in the area and Hopes home was fabulous😄👍

The home was beautiful and very clean. The location is great only a short distance from so many great spots. The house has everything you could possibly need. We were so pleased with our stay!

Lots of space, both indoors and outdoors, for kids and adults to play. Clean and well-appointed, with everything we could possibly need. Host was very communicative and helpful. Located close to the lovely little town of Mystic and it’s many activities.

The place was immaculate - cleaner that just about any hotel I've ever been in. Host was attentive - When I had issues with the door she texted me immediately and sorted it out. Then when she heard we were going to grill, she sent over two extra tanks of propane. Check out couldn't have been easier.

Hope is a gracious hostess and the home was very well cared for. My family had a great time and we plan to return next year. Thank you!

I had never rented through VRBO before and was a little nervous about the whole process. From the minute I committed to this house the owners were in touch with me - both welcoming and informative even though my stay was far off. As the day arrived and I entered the house it was perfect / even better than it looked on line! The owners were great and accommodating and our stay was exactly what we were looking for!!!

The description of the Merritt Farm Vacation home on the website is accurate and the host, Hope, was very attentive to our needs. We stayed for 5 days with our grown kids and their partners. The home was immaculate, and importantly for us since we like to cook, the kitchen was remarkably well-equipped. There was not one thing that we needed that she did not have on-hand for us! It's an excellent location, just minutes to Historic Mystic or the Mystic Aquarium & Villages. There are nearby smaller beaches, but we chose to travel to East Beach in RI which was about 25 min. away. There is so much to do in and around the Groton area as well or choose to just relax on their deck! The Merritt Farm home was very comfortable, spacious, and impeccably decorated. Air conditioning worked great for the hot days. We don't have an 'Alexa' at home, so we had some fun asking her questions while we were there! Would recommend!

My partner and I and our adult children (from a blended family) give five stars to The Merritt Family Farm home and our host, Hope. The house is meticulously clean, with four spacious bedrooms, two living rooms (one up and one down), two full bathrooms, a roomy kitchen, seating areas, and more! The outdoor deck, yard, and grill extended our enjoyment of the house. Anytime we had a question or request, I texted Hope and she replied within minutes. The town of Groton, and nearby Mystic, have everything you need for a quaint coastal weekend: beaches, restaurants, groceries, coffee shops and bakeries, and more. This house and location were ideal for our purpose. We give it our highest recommendation.

The location was nice and quiet. Hope is a great host and provides a beautiful home for her guests. Would stay here again!

Our family along with another family stayed here for a little weekend away. We enjoyed how well equipped the house was so all we really needed to bring were weekend bags. Our kids loved going to the Mystic Aquarium which was a mere 10 minutes away and a swim at the beach down the road was just what everyone needed after a hot day. We had no problems communicating with Hope, who was attentive and responsive. The coffee and fresh eggs were an extra special touch that was definitely appreciated! All and all we had a great weekend at the house.

The house is wonderful and large enough to comfortably accommodate 6 adults! Location is amazing! Close to downtown mystic and around 30 min from Misquamicut beach! We hope to return again!

Through COVID it had been 3.5 years until we were able to hook up with my brother's family again. We enjoyed 3 nights at the house and loved exploring the area - the house has everything you need, including all the beach chair and umbrellas you may need for a trip to one of the beaches nearby. Hope was very helpful and provided a long welcome mail with lots of tips for activities. Highly recommended!

Our Vacation stay at the Merritt Family Farm home was Perfect! The home is centrally located. The owner,,Hope. has many thoughtful accommodations and the king-size beds were especially comfortable. and the bedrooms were perfect for each guest! In the future, this will be our "go to" place to stay!!!!

We had a great time in a beautiful, seaside old New England town during our stay. Everything was just as advertised. The house was clean and well appointed. Our hostess, Hope, was a pleasure to work with. She made everything easy and even had fresh, local eggs in the fridge when we arrived. The frozen glasses in the freezer were also greatly appreciated. :- ) Plenty of room for family gathering, a nice yard to play in, a grill, 4 bedrooms and all with easy access to downtown Mystic and multiple beaches. A great place to stay with a great hostess. Thank you, Hope. :- )

This house had everything we needed including a crib and high chair! Hope had farm fresh eggs waiting for us upon arrival as well. We were comfortable and close to many attractions! Great find.

Our family was looking to spend a few days in the mystic area for spring vacation. Hope was a fantastic host and the house was one of the best stocked of many we have rented. Beautiful and spacious house conveniently located.

This rental was amazing. Hope is a SUPER hostess! We couldn't have asked for a better experience. House has plenty of room, good bedding arrangements, and every convenience you could think of, plus some I didn't know existed. Hope was wonderful throughout the process - extremely flexible with our requests, making the experience a 5 star PLUS one for us. Thanks for the farm fresh eggs and goodies in the fridge. We didn't have time to shop for breakfast and Hope provided all that for us. Simply amazing!

Our family was traveling across country so we only stayed one night, but it was perfect. Our only regret was not being able to enjoy this beautiful property longer. Owner was terrific to work with and very responsive. Would recommend it without hesitation.

This was the perfect home for us to unwind, connect, and relax in. All 4 bedrooms have king beds. The house was clean and very well stocked. Hope was communicative throughout our stay and helped us with nearby grocery stores. Checkout was a breeze! This will be our regular place whenever we visit Groton.

Perfect is the only way I can describe this property. I have rented many places throughout the years but this home far surpassed any others. The home itself is beautiful. It had every amenity that you could imagine and the owner was a pleasure to work with! My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our time in Mystic and this home was the perfect place to stay!
