Thanks for providing a beautiful one bedroom apartment close to town. It is easy walk to the Fallot Mustard factory and into the old town for shopping and dining. Very modern amenities which is hard to find.

My wife and I greatly enjoyed our stay in this charming converted convent. Spacious and tastefully appointed with a huge step-down kitchen area. Plus the private backyard created a pristine and quiet stay. Beyond that, Beune is a charming town with lots of history, friendly locals wonderful restaurants and great bike trails to neighboring villages.

Beautiful place with lots of charm and modern amenities. Location was great - quiet and private but walking distance from les ramparts, l'Hotel-Dieu, and all that Beaune has to offer. We'd come back in a minute.

The property is very tastefully decorated with the remains of arched brick ceilings. It has all modern furnishings and quality appliances. The place is located two blocks from central Beaune with an easy walk to many highlights of Beaune. It is also a good location for seeing other towns and cities in Burgundy.

The flat is exactly as described and pictured. The location is perfect - a short walk to the town center, the Saturday market and fabulous restaurants. It is a quiet and relaxing respite after a full day exploring Burgundy.
Caroline was wonderful host, providing great information and timely responses.

We enjoyed the spaces of the apartment. Everything was as pictured Without a car, there was a lot of walking. It’s quite warm in Beaune but two fans helped. Adding two luggage racks for suitcases would add to the apartment’s comfort. It’s a long walk to and from the train station on the very rough surfaces.

Lovely recently refurbished apartment in a historical building on a quiet side street a short walk to downtown Beaune. Great private outdoor area, new kitchen, great design, easy to access / check in. Historical Charm with modern upgrades and perfect location. Easy communication with owner.and all arrangements were made as expected. Will be back !

A very lovely remodeled one bedroom with three separate beautifully design rooms, kitchen with the newest appliances, separate toilet, washer, dryer, and beautiful, authentic original stonework. Very easy, five minute walk to the center of the village, and very enjoyable! Wonderful!

This property was exactly as pictured and represented. Actually I think it was better! It was immaculate, comfortable, and well stocked. Even though the building is hundreds of years old and the architecture charming, the kitchen is beautifully updated, with modern high end appliances, nice dishes and cutlery etc. The shower room is very roomy and has lots of room to place your toiletries. The washer and dryer are full size stackables and work perfectly, quick and efficient. The bed is I believe larger than my own queen at home and very comfortable. The actual bedding was so nice that my husband and I took a photo of the label so that we could try to order the same duvet cover for our home!
There were fresh and ample supplies of soaps, hand, bath, laundry detergent, dish detergent- the bottles were full and they were clean! Everything was clean! The only thing we bought was some paper towels. Everything else was there!
There is a huge garden. It is shared by some other apartments but very spacious and welcoming. We met one of the neighbors and he was very sweet and friendly.
The host/ hostess was wonderful to work with! I had all the info about the location , where to park, and how to access the property( with annotated photos) well in advance of my arrival. I had a problem with VRBO about my final payment that VRBO made me contact the hostess. She was so nice and helpful, and immediately jumped in to help! Any time I contacted her I immediately got a response! That was so appreciated. Especially because I don’t speak French !
This property is in a very quiet neighborhood , about an 8-10 minute walk to the center of the Beaune historic part, with a beautiful and peaceful park nearby. We stayed for 5 nights. There were times I wished it was a little closer to town, but the walk is flat and easy.

Cannot Wait to Return
We had a wonderful week and enjoyed our time at The Convent enormously. We have visited Beaune a couple of previous times over the past decade or so, but always for a day or two and always stayed at hotels. This was a much better experience. La Chapel is a fascinating and very workable layout, very clean and updated, and has a wonderful courtyard and yard area we used a lot for meals and relaxing. We walked everywhere, since everything is fairly close by: boulangerie, groceries, restaurants and shops, etc. Caroline was very helpful with the reservation and providing additional information. We can’t wait to return.

Beautiful property in a lovely town
The property is exactly as pictured, though it is hard to describe the feeling of being surrounded by ancient stone in a structure that is hundreds of years old. The apartment is spacious and well located, just outside the most scenic part of town. Restaurants and shops are abundant, and the countryside is verdant and beautiful.

Dieses Mietobjekt ist sehr stylisch und man fühlt sich sehr wohl. Von der Buchung bis zur Schlüsselrückgabe hat alles einwandfrei geklappt. Die Vermieter sind sehr zurückhaltend, wenn man sie braucht, sind sie aber zur Stelle.

Un gîte très coquet, avec deux grandes pièces à vivre très agréable, refait à neuf.
Une petite suggestion : mettre à disposition un peu plus de couverts, 5 couteaux, c'est un peu juste

heiße Tage in einer schönen Wohnung
Draußen herrschten Rekordtemperaturen, drinnen war es dank der Geräumigkeit und der dicken Wände der Wohnung sehr angenehm. Wohnung haben wir wie beschrieben vorgefunden. Positiv aufgefallen ist, dass die Vermieterin sich direkt gekümmert hat, als das W-LAN ausgefallen war und auch sonst für Fragen (in unserem schlechten Französisch :-)) sofort zur Verfügung stand (per SMS). Vielen Dank nochmal dafür!

Gite du Couvent July 2019
We are traveling throughout France by rail for one month. Beaune was our third stop. Our stay was supremely comfortable and the property was perhaps even nicer than advertised. We were delighted to stay somewhere other than a conventional hotel. More private and much more quiet. Get a good map of Beaune if you are walking from the rail station. Taxi service is not dependable.
