Se ti piace la natura e cammini nel cortile verso l'acqua prima di entrare in molti passi per scendere al molo, passerai una buca per il fuoco da utilizzare per il fuoco del campo serale e anche una buca per le scarpe di un'ora.
Mentre scendi i gradini verso l'acqua troverai un pontile galleggiante per legare le tue barche, i cieli del jet, i kayak o le tavole da paddle.
Puoi nuotare al molo anche vicino a una piccola area sabbiosa. C'è una panchina sul molo per godersi tutta la bellezza della natura di Dio e gli uccelli.

We had perfect weather so we spent most of our time in the water. Location was ideal. The stairs to the water were unexpected but good exercise.
We left 4stars for cleanliness because of a lot of dog hair and leaves.

Loretta’s place was a perfect mountain house stay on the bay. We enjoyed the comfy spacious home and deck. We had a blast fishing and hanging out on the little beach. We also enjoyed hanging out by the fire pit swapping old stories. All in great location and place!

House was fine. Odd they did not provide sheets. Was difficult for folks who came from far away. But the house was lovely and we enjoyed our time there!!

This house is a great size for a family vacation and is very well maintained, both inside and outside. The location provides easy access to small towns and the bay. The owner is very personable, providing dining recommendations, and sharing some nice background about the place as a family vacation home.
One comment I will make is that there is video surveillance of the entire yard. This is, of course, the owner's right and it was put into place for good reason. However, we did not know about this ahead of time. The only reason we found out was when we broke a rule (arriving with two dogs instead of one - which I did compensate the owner for) - the owner texted me. She had watched us arrive on her video. For the remainder of our stay, we had no idea when she might be randomly checking on us. A bit disconcerting.

Our 2 families with 4 adults and 4 kids ages 3-8 had a great time. The little beach was perfect for sand play, the swing was gleeful, the kayaking was peaceful and the indoor space great for games. Great meeting point for one VA family and one NY family. Have to bring your own sheets and towels, but the kitchen was stocked with great cooking supplies (according to the cook in the group). Nice games and toys for the kids. Great view. Felt like a tree house with air conditioning. The water was shallow and felt very safe for the kids to swim around in. A little mucky / shallow for adult swimming even far from the dock but not too bad. The kids had no problem with the steep steps to the water. Betterton Beach nearby was also lovely. Really great swimming there. And biking around the neighborhood was charming. Definitely mosquitoes and bees and hornets all over which was expected, but the house had benadryl spray, etc in case. No cases for us thankfully. The house owners were lovely and available as needed quite wonderfully. The kids and dads loved their nearby local ice cream excursion while us moms (pals for the last 23 years) took a quiet moment to catch up. 4 day trip success!
...if only there were magic there to help with a 3.5 year old at bedtime.

Overall a beautiful, serene experience. We enjoyed a multitude of activities on the water including kayaking, boating, swimming, and fishing. Cute little beach area with a large dock for fishing. Peaceful with no disturbances from neighbors or other noises. What a wonderful getaway for a large family! Plenty of space for our family of 8(plus an infant.)

The 6 of us loved staying at the Lake house and would definitely stay here again. The location was perfect for us and Loretta & Ty are excellent hosts. They are great at communication, very friendly and helpful. The house is clean, spacious and very welcoming. Starting our day with a cup of coffee on the deck, overlooking the water, boating all day, and coming home and enjoying the firepit was amazing and relaxing. Highly recommend!

The house was spacious and clean and the hosts were excellent to work with. Kitchen was stocked with cookware and had everything we needed. The outside area was great for entertaining and the fishing was excellent. We caught many huge catfish and a few bass. The steps down to the water could prove challenging for some people, but my friend Justin is strong and was able to carry our kayaks down with ease. I would recommend this house for a quiet get away, or a fishing trip with da Boyz.

We had a lovely stay at this lakehouse. The bedrooms are spacious, the kitchen is well stocked and the home is cozy and well organized.
Our family took advantage of the large yard, swing, fire pit and the games and cards they had for inside play.
The host was communicative and we felt very at home. Highly recommend!

We had such a great time at this property. Fully stocked kitchen, comfy beds, great deck, steps directly down to the water ... couldn't ask for more when it comes to relaxation and an escape from the city. Loretta was super responsive to our few questions. We would definitely stay here again - it's a gem!

We had a great time! The place was perfect and the host gracious. The kids loved fishing from the doc in the morning and evening and taking our paddle boards in the water and swimming during the day. We loved it and want to go back. My only suggestion to people comming is to make bring your own roku/firestick since the smart tv doesn’t have a lot of apps (that I saw). We liked doing a little bit of a movie with kids after dinner at the fire pit and couldn’t get like Disney plus

This home has everything you need for a relaxing stay! Bring your boat, jet ski or kayaks for easy access to Still Pond. The 49 steps to the lake may seem like a lot, but we handled it with ease. The view can't be beat, and the overall quietness was superb! Would definitely stay again in the future.

The home was lovely and had everything we needed. The location was beautiful and our family really enjoyed our stay. Only note of caution, there are a lot of fairly steep steps down to the water, so not easy for all generations.

great location, comfy house, perfect spot on the bay
We really enjoyed this house on the bay. From my 4 year old grand-niece to my 84 year old father, and those of us in between. House was well setup. just as described. living room furniture and bed were super comfy. It's right on the water with a very shady yard, fire pit and nice deck. Easy access to the water. there are a bunch of steps but they are plenty sturdy and the dock is very nice. We were able to bring a boat and tie up for the weekend. Still Pond Creek itself is great. Not much boat traffic at all, even on the weekend. Well protected from the wind too. it was a pretty windy couple days, with a small craft advisory out on the bay but you couldn't really tell back in the creek. Not nearly as rough. Host was very friendly, helpful with local info, good communication. Read carefully, you do need to bring your own bedding and paper supplies (TP, paper towels etc). firewood, which we were told about but isn't the case with most short term rentals we do.
all in all, great stay at a great place!

Stunning Property
A few friends and I rented this location for our college reunion. Everyone loved this home! Sitting by the water at sunset with a fire going…you just can’t beat it! Everything was clean, grill was used and much appreciated! Host was always available. Beds were comfy! We will definitely be back next year!

Bay Time
This Home was located next to some woods on one side, thus very quiet and peaceful! The Views were Beautiful and the Dock was perfect for fishing, swimming and Water Sports!!

This was a last minute booking that worked out really well.
Loretta was helpful from the beginning and reached out the night before we left to make sure that all was in order. Our stay was great overall! The place was extremely clean and cosy. Kitchen stocked with what was needed for cooking--appliance wise--great gas stove, utensils, etc., we brought all other things (spices, condiments, etc.). Lots of room for our party of 9 (4 adults and 5 kids, ages 10-15 to spread out). Loretta left them popsicles to enjoy as a welcome which was a nice touch and our dog felt at home. Anything that came up while there was quickly resolved by a quick text to Loretta with a prompt helpful response. We enjoyed sitting in the backyard one night making smores. We brought our own solo stove and wood, but the property has a nice fire pit (you do have to bring your own wood though as the owner points out). The living room off the kitchen was a great spot for all us to hang out comfortably and watch a show before bed if we chose. Overall a really pleasant, relaxing stay-just what we needed right before the start of a new school year amidst our new pandemic normal.
Just would highlight that linens were not supplied (towels or sheets - beds did have a sham), but we had asked the question and were prepared for this. The beach area by the house didn't really work for us as our kids are bigger, but we rented a boat in the area and had an entire day of tubing which was much fun. Next door is a house that is really close to the property-literally a stone throw-actually less than that. No one was there when we stayed, but if there was someone there, given the closeness, it would have been a completely different vibe.
There are two new mattresses in the bunk beds that were comfortable. The other beds were not. As they were four bunk beds and four kids were sleeping in that room, we were able to use the mattresses for the two upper bunks to double up and make the other mattresses more comfortable. Loretta told me that they were purchasing new mattresses for the remaining bunk beds. The bigger beds in the upper bedrooms were comfortable but the bed in the bedroom below was not as comfortable. A change over with the mattresses and this would have been an all 5 star rating!!!! You can't go wrong booking this place. Thanks Loretta

Nice open/calm water, we saw one other boat the whole time we were there. A con for families or individuals with limited mobility is the 49 steep stairs getting down and back up from the water!! We definitely got our workout from that!! Otherwise we were very pleased with this house and the owners were very pleasant and quick in responding!! Recommend this spot for fellow water tuber/skiers!!

We enjoyed our stay at this home at Stillpond. We loved the views of the water...would be a perfect property to enjoy in the summer! We enjoyed a walk on the quiet road, enjoyed watching it snow/ice while we hung out inside! Kitchen was well stocked, which was great for all the cooking we did!
