Location to Hampton University. Breakfast was fine. Complementary waters.

Room too small. Mattress was bumpy and uncomfortable. Inadequate closet space. No Desk. Skimpy amenities. Carpet was soaking wet upon my return later in the day. Couldn't figure out how this happened. The base of the toilet wasn't cleaned well.

Great location, bar & restaurant, and love the events they had going on.

The bathroom door would not close completely and the room had no interior lighting besides lamps.

Property was on the water but the surrounding area seemed to be sparsely populated- few,one, restaurant open on a Saturday night? Check-in was easy.

Surrounding area seemed very quiet even though there was a block party a few blocks away. Room was adequate for the night.

The room and amenities were well kept. The comfort in the room was excellent. The noise levels and atmosphere was terrific and very inviting.

The facilities - particularly the elevators in the hotel and the garage - felt and sounded dated when operating (creaking, etc.). We even had the garage elevator seem to malfunction (we didn't wait and decided to take the stairs).

Friendly and helpful staff. Great bar and restaurant with yummy food choices. Beautiful decor and comfy bedding.

I only had one mishap that was not caused by the property per se. Apparently there was a break in communications between Booking.com and The Landing regarding one of my reservations. It was resolved. I also think it is strange that there are no microwaves in each floor of the property yet there are refrigerators in the rooms. I would’ve liked a microwave in my room.

There was a lovely view overlooking the city; the restaurant food was delicious and the staff friendly and helpful

Bathroom floor was dirty and sticky; lotion was near the sink, but no soap; ran out of toilet paper and there was no extra roll; bed was not comfortable; chipped furniture; the TV was mounted crookedly

Clean, good personal very well managed all staff
