This was our second stay at this beautiful mountain top oasis. Full porches provide a consistent breeze to enjoy the outstanding view of Red Hook. Enjoy watching the daily ferry's to and from St John, see iguanas and turtles on property-and sleep in the most comfortable beds! The open shower provides such a wonderful experience after a day at the beach. We were "stuck" a few extra says -thanks to TS Debby and our hosts could not have been kinder to help get us comfortable during our delay!

We had such a great 6 nights at Treetops! June was very helpful with questions before our arrival and throughout our stay. The location is perfect with all of the restaurants of Red Hook right down the hill. Very thankful that their location has a generator, as much of the island had intermittent power outages that didn’t interfere with us at all! Several beaches are within a couple of minutes from Treetops- Sapphire beach was our favorite! The people and car ferry is also right down the hill to visit St. John! Will be booking again!

This is my 10th trip to the island and my first time staying in town at TreeTops. We chose Tree Tops for its location and size as I was bringing some Island newbies. Red Hook is the best place to be for activities. The house over looks Red Hook and a Marina with beautiful views of St. John and surrounding Islands. The house have everything you need. We brought food with us and cooked in the evenings and breakfast and ate out during the day. June was very nice and accommodating. The AC in the bedrooms was refreshing. The breeze on the porch at night was wonderful and cooling. We enjoyed our nights on the porch. The views are just wonderful. We enjoyed the firework display St. John put on from the balcony, so pretty! A Jeep or a SUV that sits high is appropriate for getting into the driveway. Things to enjoy - a boat trip while staying on the Island is a must. Book with Adventures of Saltwater Taffy. I cannot brag on them enough. Super people, all inclusive and the food was sooo good. They leave from Sapphire Marina in Red Hook, right up the road. The best conch fritters can still be found at bolongo bay beach resort along with good fish tocos as well as great drinks. All very reasonable. Always my go to for a lunch or snack.

June was easy to communicate with. Keep in mind that there is no air conditioning in the main part of the apartment, just the bedrooms, so it was hot when trying to cook. The breeze was wonderful with all of the doors open! The pool was a little walk from the main living area. And the driveway was STEEP(definitely need a 4x4!) Groceries are SUPER expensive, the employees at Moe’s grocery told us to shop at Cost for Less. We drove everywhere we went, if anyone isn’t able to walk long distances this place is not walkable. Overall we are happy we were able to visit this island and have the opportunity to take the ferry to St John as well!

Treetops is a beautiful 3 level house built into a hill in st Thomas . Each level it’s a separate apartment with its own entrance. The views are spectacular, the apartments are very spacious with wrap around porches and there’s a hidden pool. Our hosts, the Marshes, were so kind and hospitable. Plenty of beach chairs, snorkeling supplies, towels, sunscreen. Anything you would need. Thank you June Marsh for everything!

This property lived up to its listing, only better! June was an awesome host, but then every review has said that. Her communication before and during our stay was timely, helpful, and welcoming! Treetops was a wonderful home base from our day journeys around the islands… and the views from the porches and pool just make you wish you could stay indefinitely. We had a great time!

We stayed at Treetops for four nights and had a great experience. As others have stated, June is a wonderful host and goes out of her way to make sure you are comfortable. She makes sure you have everything you need for a fun vacation from towels to sunscreen to snorkeling gear. She even met us at a restaurant in town to make sure we found the house okay.
Treetops has stunning views of the harbor and surrounding islands. You could just sit on the wrap-around porch all day! The home is a bit older but the architecture is lovely and it is very clean. Keep in mind that the main area of the home does not have air conditioning (only the bedrooms). It was very hot and humid when we were there so that made it a bit uncomfortable inside. If you have not been to St. Thomas, be aware that it is very hilly and the roads are sometimes treacherous. You also drive on the opposite side of the road like in Europe. Getting to and from Treetops is a bit of a challenge so I highly recommend renting an SUV. We had a Jeep Wrangler and it was perfect. I would not want to regularly walk up and down the steep incline to get to town, although you certainly can if you want. It's not a very long way.
Overall, we had an amazing trip to St. Thomas and enjoyed our time at Treetops!

This was our first trip to the Virgin Islands. Rather than pay the price for a fancy hotel, we decided to take a chance on a VRBO. And we are so glad we did! This property is in a beautiful location on a hillside overlooking the water on the east end of St. Thomas about a 30 minute shuttle ride from the airport. The property has magnificent views of the water and other islands. Tree Tops is owned by June and Steve and they are accommodating, friendly hosts. We had a great time here and recommend it to anyone interested in a relaxing stay in St. Thomas. The property has too many amenities to list. Let's just say you won't find it lacking in any way. Excellent Wi-Fi is also provided. It's an easy walk downhill to numerous restaurants and the ferry to St. John to visit the Virgin Islands National Park. You cannot go wrong by selecting Tree Tops!

We enjoyed everything about our stay! My highest recommendation! The hosts made the difference! June made us feel completely at home, and went well above and beyond in every way! She provided travel guides before our arrival, maps/directions, tips on navigating the island, restaurant and beach recs, parking tips, and much more. We very much enjoyed the home, which is a style familiar to those who might frequent the Caribbean or Hawaii...wrap around deck and beautiful views, satellite TV, well-equipped kitchen and baths, terrific AC in the bedrooms. Red Hook is a cool place to stay, away from the bustle of the city and cruise ship crowds but not sleepy at all, very close to several amazing beaches, good food and bars, the marina for boat charters, and super convenient for the ferry to St John. Tips: renting a Jeep gave us much-needed all-terrain mobility on St Thomas and St John (almost a must for the adventurous); do your homework on how the ferry works (not hard but there is a system, and it helps to know before diving in). We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Junes property for a one weekend in December and the property didn’t disappoint. I loved this place from the view, the wrap around porch, and the beautiful gardens everything was perfect. We were also located right in the heart of red hook close to the ferry and a lot of nice restaurants. June is the best host around, very attentive, she made sure we were right at home.

The view from the property is spectacular! June is an awesome host. She makes you feel right at home, gave us a lot of information and assisted us with rides. The hill is doable, but rides were very helpful. I even learned her and I are birthday twins. Lol. She's very personable. I can't thank her enough for everything especially the ride to my next destination on my last day.
Red Hook has several nice restaurants and the ferry to go to St John is very close. My husband and I enjoyed going to Sapphire Beach which is only about 4 minutes away by car. My only advice is to use the Mosquito spray if you are prone to mosquito's loving you. I did get several bites.

June, the owner, is wonderful. She is very attentive and helpful. Before we even got to the island she sent some magazines on the island that showed what you can do. She also sent a map of the island which was very helpful before getting to the island. The views from the house are the best with wonderful breezes. We spent most of our time on the deck looking out at the ocean and at St. Johns. I would recommend renting a car, a jeep preferably. The taxi's are fine but can be hard to find at times. It is just so much easier to have your own car. Red Hook has great restaurants. They are all great!! Make sure you do bring cash as some places only take it and taxi's only take cash. Magen bay beach and Lindquist beach are beautiful. Lindquist Beach was my favorite. Those are the only 2 beaches that it costs money to park and use. If we go back, we will definitely contact June again and stay with her. You can't go wrong with this place. Thank you June for everything and the great pictures you took of us.

Stayed a week, the property is right abive Red Hook restaurants, ferry hub, and taxis are readily avail. if no car rental. June was gracious to come down the hill and get us if available a few times. Stormy Pirates company day trip to Limeout Taco on water (a must), and to Soggy Dollar day, was fabulous! We will come back! First the location; on a hillside overlooking the sound towards St John, in the small but active town of Red Hook. Second; the property is lush, with gorgeous natural flora. The condo is lovely and very well appointed. But most importantly, the absolutely amazing hosts, June and Steve March. June is the most welcoming host I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet. She is like having your own personal concierge!! Every need was cared for immediately. She and Steve have a very storied history, especially in St Thomas, their home for 40+ years. It felt like leaving good friends when we left and I hope to return soon.

TreeTops is a great property and June is an unbelievable host. From meeting us in Red Hook so we could follow her to the house to getting the five of us snorkel gear sized to fit to recommendations on transportation (including offering to provide it for short trips) and markets and so many other above and beyond services June is a fantastic host. She was in regular contact with us and provided brochures before arriving. Fantastic!
TreeTops itself is exceptional. The pictures accurately describe the property. The views are amazing with beautiful flowers everywhere. The pool is a short walk from the unit and has great views and has lounge chairs and floaties are also provided as is pretty anything else you could need.
Red Hook is a few minutes walk but you need to be in good shape to get back up a steep climb. Red Hook has several good restaurants and the ferry to St John is right there also. We had a rental car and it's a short drive to most parts of the Island. All in all a memorable trip for our family.

We fell in love with the pictures in the listing, and reality was even better!! The wrap-around porch with incredible views made us want to spend every minute outside enjoying our perfect perch overlooking the water. June & Steve are perfect hosts - there when you need them, and out of the way when you don’t. They are immediately responsive and go out of their way to cover every convenience. The house, kitchen, and pool are well stocked, including pool floats and snorkel gear! We really couldn’t have asked for more.

This is an amazing place. It is very unique. It sits above a cove where catamarans, sail boats, etc. come and go constantly. The location is near everything you could want or need. The ferry to go to other islands was located in this cove. The hostess was great. She was very knowledgeable about the island, great places to eat, and places to go. Everything was provided for any activity you were interested in from beach towels to snorkeling equipment. It truly was amazing and we will definitely go back!!

We really enjoyed the amazing views at this property. This was our first VRBO stay where we met our host/property owner. For check-in, June met us at restaurant close to the rental to help us find it. When the grill was broken, they quickly replaced it. June answered all our questions and even did a load of laundry for us.
The hosts/owners live in the bottom floor of the unit. Dipping pool also has beautiful views. Property is at top of hill so I was glad we rented a Jeep but property is also very close to restaurants in Red Hook and walkable for those in good shape. Lots of great restaurants in Red Hook that are frequented by tourists and locals. Overall, we enjoyed our trip to St Thomas and the views.

The condo/villa was very clean, in a great location, with amazing views. June went out of her way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The villa was spacious and had everything we needed. Our host should be host of the year! Truly aspired to making sure we had everything we needed and more. The views were incredible, even at night with the lights from St. John. We chose to walk the hill most of the time for fitness sake (we're in our 50's) but taxi's are cheap and they're everywhere. We are truly sad to leave.

The owner made sure we had everything we could possibly need and provided snorkeling gear, beach towels and chairs for our use. Tree tops is a delightful property with spectacular views and a stellar host in June Marsh who made our stay really comfortable. She is very communicative, helpful and welcoming. The views from the apartment are worth every cent of your money. The property is ideally located in the heart of red hook with plenty of good restaurants and bars at walking distance. Just a sidenote, due to tropical climates and surrounding greenery, you will have your fair share of mosquitoes to deal with. Recommend keeping the doors and windows closed at all times as well as use mosquito repellants generously provided by the host.
Overall, will give 5 stars to this property and the host. Will definitely recommend this to anyone visiting St. Thomas since I will back for sure!
