Beautiful property and view Bed was too firm for me but we had a wonderful time and the beaches on that side of the island are beautiful

We were pleasantly surprised with our stay at this property. If you're not familiar with the typical mountain roads in Puerto Rico, it can be a little intimidating. Rest assured that once you reach the house, you won't be disappointed! Also, the owner and maintenance were very cordial and attentive to any of our needs - although all of our needs were met on the front end. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY!

We vacationed in Puerto Rico for 3 weeks and stayed at numerous different types of properties (resorts, houses, bed and breakfasts, etc). This home was by far our favorite. It’s a beautiful drive through the mountains with an incredible view from both balconies. We decided to stay in for dinner most nights while here so we could enjoy the jacuzzi and gorgeous sunsets. Home was clean and spacious. The groundskeeper, Popo was also beyond kind and hospitable. He provided the warmest welcome and even brought bananas during our stay. Highly recommend!

Very comfortable, beautiful view and art. The roads were a little crazy, but worth it for the view. Very sweet and helpful host. I highly recommend this place.

The house and property are beautiful, and the view is amazing. Short drive to the town and beach. Highly recommended. One note: those unfamiliar or uncomfortable with "mountain driving" may be put off by the narrow road, inclines, and hairpin turns. We did find a slightly longer route to/from town that allowed us to avoid the sharpest turn.

Great location, close to the beaches and perfect views.

The villa is perfect in every expext. Beautiful view, spacious, cozy. Popo is so sweet. He even brought us bread and fruits for breakfast saving a trip to drive down the windy road to find a market.

Maria the owner and PoPo could not have been more amazing. We had a medical issue where we needed to get medication overnighted and they helped us with where to take delivery. The property is beautiful with plenty of space for teens and adults. The chickens and turkeys were added charm. Evenings on the balcony were perfect. PoPo guided us into the grocery store to feed the teens after a long day. He even delivered fresh bread and county eggs. Great caretaker 💕

I have stayed in plenty of rental properties and this is by far the best one thus far! The listing and pictures are on point but being there and actually watching the sunset from the mountain was beyond amazing. Maria was super helpful even weeks before our checking. She sent me an entire email with locations and replied to text right away. When we landed i was having problems with cell reception and couldn't call the property manager I text her and she replied right away and contacted the property manager for me. It was such a smooth process it definitely started our vacation on a good note. I wish all property owners were as involved as Maria is. the house is super specious and comfortable. The ride up made for a fun vacation story but the views is short of amazing.. We had 4 adults and 3 kids and we all enjoyed relaxing out doors and enjoying the hot tub and sun set. I would come back and recommend this property to anyone!

Amazing views and place to relax. Great quality family time. Owners were very accesible and Popo was always available to help. They even got us treats. The place is ideal to recharge and rest, while experiencing the most spectacular sunsets. A little far up the mountains of Rincon, but totally worth it. Just a 8 min drive to beaches.

This property was beautiful, spacious, and well maintained. The views were amazing. We had wonderful time relaxing out on the patio and watching the sunset from the hot tub. We were about 5-10 minutes from some local restaurants and around 20 minutes from the beaches.

If you love the sunset of Rincón, from here it looks spectacular. The property is clean, spacious and very welcoming. Open your eyes in the morning and see its spectacular view, is priceless. Popo, the manager, is excellent and very approachable. We will definitely be back!!!

The house was beautiful and the view of the Caribbean Sea was spectacular !! The verandah areas of the house were really amazing , being able to lay outside on the lounge chairs and dine outside after grilling at night was really cool. This was our first time in Puerto Rico and we loved every minute of it ! The local resteraunts were really good , fresh fish of all kinds ! My Wife and I had a great vacation in Rincon and we would not hesitate to stay at this amazing mountain top villa again !

We recently spent about a week at this beautiful home in Rincon. This was our 3rd stay at this exquisite villa, and it gets better every time! The house has such a welcoming feel, it is hard to believe that we were just renting! There is everything one could possibly need, right down to spices in the cupboard if we wanted to cook! Most often, however, we chose to eat at one of the local restaurants. The owners provide literature and menus from many of the area restaurants. The house is fabulous! The views from either veranda are incredible, and there is plenty of seating both inside and out... comfy couches inside, lounge chairs on the veranda, and table seating are all readily available. Even the daybed downstairs was heaven to sleep in! The home is open and airy, so much so that it wasn't even necessary to turn on the AC. The neighbors were so friendly, and the property manager was so helpful. He even dropped off fruit from the property for us to enjoy. I would recommend this house highly and am already looking forward to my next visit! Thank you, Maria! Our stay was fabulous!

When my husband asked me where I wanted to go to celebrate my birthday, I jumped at the chance to go to Rincon and stay again at Maria's Villa. And because I had raved about our first trip to our friends so much, I invited them as well. They had been to San Juan years ago, but not to Rincon. Now, I think they are hooked on the Rincon side of Puerto Rico. And they loved the villa as much as we do. I noticed, also, that there were a few additions since we were there last. Maria added a second air conditioner on the lower level. But we really only used it the first night because it never really got hot enough to need it. And when we opened the front door, we were greeted by a beautiful tropical mural on the wall which is just perfect to set the mood for an island vacation. Oh, and Maria added a beautifully designed gate to the property which gives even more privacy to the courtyard. We sat many a night in that courtyard counting shooting stars. The villa was everything we remembered and more. It is impeccably clean, has every amenity needed, very private, decorated beautifully and, of course, the view from the two verandas can't be beat. The caretaker was extremely helpful and even stopped by with fresh fruit one morning. I couldn't have asked for more. Thank you Maria!

We rented the mountain house for a week in November, we were very excited from the pic's of the house and was told that the beach was 5 min away. The views are to die for but from day 1 we had major problems, we arrived and was shown the house and the functions of everything, after the manager left us we click on the TV and no reception, we contacted the manager and the maintenance man and the owner we did not have a working TV for over 4 days, and when we fixed the TV ourselves we had to change channels at the cable box the remote did not work. After the TV problem we had no hot water in the upstairs bathroom and lukewarm water in the downstairs bath, we contacted the maintenance man and the owner the same and we did not get hot water for over 4 days and when he came to fix the problem he took the upstairs shower head, but best of all after he left we still did not have hot water. Now lets talk about the air conditioning it listed that there was air conditioning but really you have 1 unit in upstairs bedroom and another in downstairs bed room the downstairs does not work very well almost cool air comes out and smelly. Ok you would think this is it but 2nd to the last day power went out for 9 hours, it listed in the amenities a generator, it is very small and can run the refrigerator and 2 upstairs fans, but it does not come on automatically if electric goes out you have to contact the maintenance man and guess what he does not show up for over 9 hours and our food in the refrigerator went bad but the owner states on a information paper stuck to the refrigerator if the electric goes out for an extended amount of time the generator would be put to work I think 9 hours is over extended call me crazy. I have been going to Rincon for over 25 years we owned a home there for that time and sold it a few years ago and we rented our home out and would never charge this amount of monies and leave you hanging on your vacation. This rental is as pricey as a hotel on the beach and you have to travel over 10 or more min to get to the house on a very narrow curvy road. The owner did not represent this location to me when I inquired for the location. Maria did not handle these problems she gave me excuses. I would not recommend this rental to anyone for this price and if you are with others and want privacy in the downstairs bedrooms bring a door because there is no divided doors to insure privacy...

The home was clean , well kept with updates throughout. The house was well maintained and the property manager was available daily, and was very helpful. The location was convenient and the view spectacular. The veranda was a great place to relax and read .We also loved doing a morning workout on the veranda while enjoying the incredible scenery. There was plenty of room to entertain a large group, in the large dining room or huge outdoor living area. The home was near the surfing beaches and many great restaurants. We had an excellent time and would definitely recommend staying here!

The villa was nice and clean. It's very open and inviting. It has a really nice view of the ocean. There were lots of household things that were available for our use such as the detergents (laundry, dish, and dishwasher), spices, garbage bags, and also beach gear, etc. Jim met us in town and was extremely helpful in helping us get settled in. He even called the next day to check in. Maria was also extremely helpful. In our opinion, it is ideal to sleep three couples with two children (less than 8-10 years old). My son is 7 and was perfectly fine on the day bed. The price was extremely reasonable. Make sure to take time to visit the two local bars that are within a mile of the villa. The locals make you feel right at home! The bakeries are also a must and are within a 10 minute drive. There are also two supermarkets nearby. We preferred Edward's Fam Coop because of the more inviting and small town feel it has. We will definitely be back! Thanks Maria!

After spending few days in the San Juan area, we decided to drive to Rincon. We had visited there last year and fell in love with the area. So much to do and great snorkeling and surfing. When we walked into this house, we were not expecting what we saw. We had rented a small condo on beach last time, and this was so large and spacious, and like everyone has mentioned in their review, it was beautiful! It was like a palace compared to the house we were in last year! The views of the mountains meeting the sea, from the verandas, were breathtaking. So glad we picked this spot. We really loved the house, we sat on veranda alot and at night enjoyed the great breeze that would blow out to sea. We also had nice breeze in the morning with our coffee. The owners were very helpful and great to deal with, as were the property manager and neighbors. The only thing I would change next time is the amount of days we'd stay. We might just skip San Juan all together!

Definitely a major WOW upon arrival. What a gorgeous place and spectacular view. The home is spotless and definitely high class. The property manager lives nearby and was quite helpful providing directions or recommendations. One major drawback only applies during the worst summer months in that only two bedrooms are air conditioned. The third bedroom stayed relatively cool but the day room on the second floor gets quite warm in the heat of the summer day even though the outside temps were in the upper 80s. The TV needs a DVD or BlueRay player as well. The mornings wakeup was worth the inconveniences though...so beautiful sitting on the veranda. Plenty of space with room to entertain if desired. The kitchen is also well equipped. The floors are all tile as well as the stairs which is absolutely beautiful but unforgiving if you are subject to falling. The Rincon area is wonderful where the mountains meet the sea. Excellent skin diving right off the beach and plenty of natural wonders all around.

This Mountain top villa has a never ending view of greenery of the land along with a magnificent view of the Sea beyond. The terrace can be enjoyed morning noon and night, weather it's just the two of you or a party of friends. Easy entertaining. The outside shower makes it a treat to cool off after spending time in the Rincon sunshine. There is also plenty of shaded terrace for relaxing as well. Rincon has a charm all it's own with great beaches, restaurants and beautiful scenery. There are 2 food markets which offer all u will need to keep the villa stocked with ur favorite treats. When eatining out be sure to try La Cambija, Calypso and El Fogon. They r casual fun places for drinks & delicious food. For a gourmet evenening out u must go to the Horned Dorset. The owners of this beautiful Villa are extremely nice people and will make sure ur stay is a pleasant one.The home's decor is another added feature which contributes to the feel of being in a 5 star accommodation. Go, enjoy and relax in this beautiful mountain villa. I'll come back again & again.

I was sick for quite a while,my doctor said I needed to relax and get away from everyday stress, I went on line and looked for just a perfect getaway. I got in touch with 4 of my girlfriends and began to plan my get away. This home was so warm and welcoming, clean, close to stores, the beaches 10 minutes away and some very fine resturantes . Just as described, the sunsets were amazing, I found myself wanting to be home when the sun went down, to enjoy them. Cell phones all worked which made all of us ladies quite happy. I am booking another trip in november, I would highly recommend this beautiful home in beautiful Rincon Puerto Rico as the perfect getaway.
