Family came from Ohio to learn to ski at Granby Ranch. Enjoyed the house and loved the location.

Super accurate description of house and rooms, made it easy to figure out party of 11. Very clean and well furnished for all needs. Hot tub was a definite add. Easy access to all amenities of the area. View out the master was picturesque!

Our stay was quite enjoyable. The home was very clean and it was quite easy to get a hold of the owners. Great location! The house was rather warm but cooled down once the windows were opened for a cross breeze. We would definitely stay here again!

Overall great property and location. Only issue was there were a couple items not completely clean.

Great location for skiing
We had a group of 10; 5 adults and five kids. We chose this for the 5 bedrooms and hot tub! We brought two air mattresses for kids that didn’t want to share a bed. The kids had a blast. There were deer all around the house which was really cool.
Only reason for a 4 star instead of 5 was that we were pretty short on bath towels and definitely kitchen towels. The house is great though! The driveway is very steep (as mentioned in our check-in instructions) so with snow/ice, that should be considered when choosing the vehicles you’re driving.

Ice fishing weekend
We went up with 4 couples total for an ice fishing weekend and had a great time! The house was in a great location and the size was perfect to fit us all comfortably!

Annual family trip to Granby
It was an excellent getaway with my daughters, their significant others and 3 grandsons. We do this every year but this was the first time in a free standing home. That really added to our experience as the parking was so much easier and it really felt like home. Due to the lack of snow we found other things to do - we took hikes in the area and found an outdoor basketball court (grandsons huge into basketball!) with a couple of balls just sitting nearby. The large dining room table made it easy to play cards and other games, the 5 bedrooms made it very comfortable. The house was clean and welcoming. The kitchen was well equipped except there were no blades for the hand mixer. One more thing would be to have a little better pillows in the bedrooms. Other than that I would definitely consider staying here again! Thank you!!

VRBO Grandby
All of the home is a lot smaller than the pictures portrayed. But I find this in most VRBO's The bottom half of the house is extremely cold, just as the description said. But it really was too cold to use at all.
We really enjoyed the views and hot tub and the kitchen was well stocked with any kind of kitchen supplies you needed. Plently of plates, cups utensils etc. Also plenty of towels to use. And extra quilts and pillows if needed.

Horrible House Maintenance
The property is poorly maintained.
We walked into 2 of the 4 beds with dirty linens (one smelled like feet, the other was dirty), the dish washer was loaded but not ran or emptied as well as there being "clean" dishes in the cabinet that were not cleaned.
The grill doesn't work when the propane tank is put in the cabinet on the bottom, the door screen in the master bedroom very broken.
The property is nice and in a good location, it is just not maintained well.

Nice house, but…
We rented this house as a staff getaway for 12 adults. Although the house is listed as sleeping 12, we had to have one person sleep on a couch. The house and location are nice, but prepare yourself for a long list of instructions that feel more like demands and made us feel like we were constantly being watched. There are a handful of items I could list that we noted to be issues while we stayed, but I will just wrap up by repeating that it made for a decent weekend getaway, but just left a bit of a feeling of unease.

Relaxing in the mountains
We stayed with a few friends. The property had everything we needed for our stay. The location is quiet. Several deer walked by one evening while we were in the hottub. Would stay here again.

Family gathering
My husband and I wanted a mountain get away with our adult children and our grandchildren. We had ample sleeping space in comfortable beds. The proximity to Granby Lake gave us many options for fun activities.

Great location
The location of the property was really conveniently located near Grand Lake and the City Market (which we had to run to to get ice). The ice machine and garbage disposal did not work in the kitchen. We didn’t reach out to anyone because no one wants to deal with repairs while on vacation! The house was clean for the most part, but there were some things that could have used some detailed cleaning: the bedding in one of the bedrooms was a bit musty, dirty dishes put away, trash under the bunk bed, trash in the couch. Check in and out was super simple. The owner lives next to the property and introduced herself.

Really enjoyed our stay.
This house was great and met our needs well. It was not as clean as we expected but everything else was great. The driveway was very difficult to get up, however, the manager informed us of this so we adjusted. Thank you for letting us stay.

Dirty
It is a nice home, however, it was dirty with piles of trash in the garage and dead mice in a room and in the garage. The property manager is not very personable and condescending. The front door would not open, made it sound like I was not doing it correctly, when in fact the door lock was broken. The upper level gets very warm while the downstairs is cold.

Great place, great property manager, stingy owner
The place was great, it accommodated 3 couples nicely. The property manager was friendly and responsive. We loved the kitchen and hot tub. The only issue is that the smart thermostat was locked and we could not adjust the temperature during a cold snowstorm. it was ok in the upper level but the lower bedroom was cold (there was a tiny pace heater which helped) Long story short: The property manager quickly contacted the owner who eventually (midnight) bumped the thermostat to 68. Not a huge deal but it would be nice if the guests were allowed to control the heat, especially in colorado.

Great place for two families
The hot tub was amazing. The number of bedrooms allowed us all to spread out, which was great. The TV worked great for movies - lots of options. The refrigerator has seen better days and two door drawers were broken, so hopefully that will be attended to. The trash in the garage hadn't been taken out in a while and was stinky, but Will responded right away that he would take care of both the fridge and the garage. Overall wonderful stay and the views were gorgeous with the autumn leaves all around. The location was great as well - easy to get to many hikes, hot springs, and the surrounding lakes.

Nice property some issues
Was a really fun trip property was overall nice. But some things we're broken upon arrival, bottom step on deck in back yard had a small piece broken off of it. Only one burner on grill worked. One of the dining chairs was broken and poorly glued back together one of the girls almost got hurt. Other than that we had a really good time.

Nice size place in Granby
Stayed here with wife and 3 kids plus my parents. Our group of 7 was very comfortable in the house, it could easily hold 2-3 more comfortably. Nice views overlooking the valley and mountains to the west. Good size hot tub on back porch easy to use and comfortably holds 4 people at a time. The house has stairs to get to the main level, which wasn’t an issue, just something to be aware of. Good size front deck facing west, very pleasant in the evenings. 2 car garage to park in or small parking area just outside of garage. Drive way is steep, not an issue in summer, maybe interesting to get up/down in winter. Very easy check in / check out process.

LOVELY STAY
We absolutely loved our stay at Beaver Lodge.
The home was clean, well stocked, and spacious. The hot tub and soaking tub in the master bathroom were phenomenal.
You can relax on the deck for hours looking at the rolling hills and wildlife. Birds, bats, beavers, dogs and bears were a DAILY sight.
The property manager, Will, was fantastic at answering questions for us prior to our stay.
If we ever visit the area again, we will absolutely stay here. We may visit again JUST to stay here.
We only have two suggestions for the property/owner.
A simple gate added onto the deck would be a great idea. Something simple and inexpensive, maybe with a bell, just to warn tenants that an animal is approaching the deck. The wildlife made the trip so wonderful, but we were a little anxious about how accessible the house was to them.
Also, I would definitely add a picture of the soaking tub to the website. It was such a lovely surprise. We would have booked so much sooner had we known about it.
Our stay was wonderful, anyone considering this property should stop considering and go ahead and reserve.

Bridal Party Get Away
We had such a great time! The property was extremely clean and well taken care of. Plenty of towels for showers and hot tubbing. The kitchen table was awesome, enough chairs for all of us to sit and eat together while playing card games.

Nice home !!
The home and location were very nice !! We didn’t get to use the hot tub because it was frozen . And the pipes in the master shower were also froze . But we enjoyed our stay even with the little hiccups .

Nice for large group
There were 10 of us for a long weekend. The bedroom configuration was perfect, and there was a separate living area in the basement that worked well for our group. The kitchen is well stocked, and the driveway wasn't as daunting as we expected. Views from the house are spectacular! The house is definitely dated, carpet was old and pretty dirty, showers could use some regrouting, kitchen parquet floor is peeling.

Just like my home away, had everything you need and more. Place was clean inside and out, location was perfect, close to stores but far away from crowd. Hot tub is a plus, plenty of towels. Beds were comfortable, had plenty plenty of extra pillows and blankets. Kitchen had everything you need and then some, living room is big and comfy, including the second one downstairs.
Would rent again.

July 2019 5-day stay
Our family's stay in the house was fun except for :
+ broken blind (stuck closed) in master suite that didn't allow us to see the view for the entire stay. A big problem.
+ broken (permanently I guess) ice maker in refrigerator - not a big problem once we knew about it. Should tell your renters up front.

Comfortable but too hot for summer
Nights were hot upstairs and too cold downstairs. The property was not as clean as others we have been at. Quiet and private area was a plus and beautiful view of the mountain.
