The house was extremely clean and welcoming. It’s located in an absolutely beautiful neighborhood. I would honestly buy this as a forever home if it were available. Great renting experience in a great neighborhood in a great house.

Our stay at this vacation rental home was simply fantastic! The location was superb, with paved trails right at our doorstep, perfect for walks, jogs, or bike rides. One of the highlights was the proximity to skiing, just 30 minutes away. This allowed us to easily access the slopes and then return to walk to town for shopping and dining. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. The home comfortably accommodated our family of five. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this vacation rental to anyone looking for a convenient, comfortable, and enjoyable stay in a great location.

What a great spot to stay! Our crew of 4 adults thoroughly enjoyed this renovated home so well placed near the river walk. I enjoyed starting our very busy days with an early morning walk to the grocery store via this path. The house is very comfortable and well outfitted. We would definitely stay here again.

Very cute and clean property, great location, just a couple minute drive away from old town and Durango Silverton train depot, witch was the main purpose of our trip. Only down sides was that one of the tv remotes had no batteries, we did find a some spare batteries unfortunately wrong size, also all VRBO properties I have stayed it had a small supply of coffee pods for Keurig coffee maker there was a good supply of tea pod however, just a little thing but always appreciated. I did love the property enjoyed watching the deer roaming the yard in the evening and early mornings. I would definitely recommend this property.

SUPER CLEAN. Great old house. I would guess this house was built in the 1930's and still has charm. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. The only negative is there isn't any blinds in the kitchen. Set in an area very close to Downtown Durango with beautiful Old Growth Trees and Bushes. YES, I would live here.

This house was absolutely perfect! The location, the size, the deer in the yard! If I ever decide to move there, I will find a way to buy this house to live in! Lol.

Nice older home that worked well for our family of five. We enjoyed how close it was to the river and downtown. The significant downside was the bugs. Bugs were coming up through the drains, were on the walls, ceilings, and floors. One got in my morning coffee, they got on our pillows, got in our luggage. I let the owner know and she said they were trying to treat them. (Apparently it’s not working…) Temps were in the 90s so the window unit in the living room wasn’t able to cool the bedrooms. We opened the windows and turned on the fans to try and help. Overall it was an okay place but the bugs did dampen our stay.

Perfect location for walkers, bikers, and joggers. So close to the Animas river trail. Walkable to downtown with lots of activities, restaurants, and groceries nearby.

The house is an old house that has been updated. Floors are a little unlevel, but nothing that makes any difference. It has one small bathroom, and three bedrooms. The backyard was full of beautiful flowers and our grandkids (6,7,8) loved playing outside. They had fun playing with Hank & Cellar (the neighbor’s cats). Beds, bedding & pillows could definitely be upgraded! Location was nice, but the river walk across the street was full of homeless people camped out, and groups of younger people sitting around smoking weed, so not awesome for my little grands. All in all, I would rent this place again for the value.

The house was perfect for our stay over FLC graduation weekend. Parents and grandparents made this home base. Only a few student friends were still in town, so we had an open house for the handful that were around. Got some Serious BBQ and beverages and had plenty of room to set up some Cornhole boards out front, a slack line in the back, and card games at the kitchen table after dark. What a great weekend! We will definitely look to rent this house again in two years when we will have another FLC graduate. Thanks, Holly!

Loved the location.. the rooms were great the neighbors friendly and it was the perfect place to bring my 12 yr old. I am a FLC alum and it was like being back in college (living in town) but with a much better place to stay in ❤️ will def be back

We had an amazing time staying here - the location was perfect, very walkable to downtown and lots to explore up and down paths along the river. The interior is a spacious open concept with generous sized bedrooms, the pictures don’t do it justice. Plus, there was a small art station for the kids and we were delighted to see lots of deer passing through the backyard, so cool! Would definitely recommend and we’ll stay here again!

This is my second time staying at this house. I love this place. It was perfect for me and a few friends. We had all we needed and always walked to town. The city deer that visited were a bonus. We spent quite a bit of time morning and evening just sitting on the porch. I know that whenever I stay in Durango, I will book Holly's place.

Bright finishes inside and well equipped by owners. Great access in all directions. Lovely little footbridge to Downtown shops and restaurants. Minutes from Durango Silverton Railway. Nice place to stay near Durango center.

My sister and I stayed at your property while doing a road trip through New Mexico. We stayed two nights in order to experience the Durango to silverton train. Fun and beautiful. Your darling house had everything we needed. Very clean. I loved the location and the daily visit from the deer.

We (two adults and two teenagers) stayed at the house for six days. We loved the huge kitchen, just like being at home. Having three bedrooms was fantastic so that each kid could have their room. The outdoor space is excellent, with plenty of shade and enough space to hang a hammock between the trees. The BBQ outside on the deck served us well. The living area was spacious enough for the four of us, and the large dining table was also great for meals. The only issue we had was accessing the house. I didn't think to check my messages from 7 months prior when we booked the house for the access code. So I called VRBO, and they helped me out. We walked and rode our bikes through the neighborhood and many times by the river. I would love to stay here again sometime.

We loved our stay at this Durango home. We walked everywhere, enjoyed the Animas River and the property. Cute outdoor area on back deck and front porch. We would love to come back and stay longer.

she charges for cleaning after your stay, for window cleaning, sheets, said we took towels- directions were to put them inside the wash machine, which we did. Fees for cleaning because of fingerprints on the windows and the couch was dirty. no one in this town has done this to me before, she’s looking to make an extra buck off families. Would consider another host. Super messed up, not a lot of amenities for cooking and the oven doesn’t work well. Nice home, but she will charge for cleaning.
