My rating would have been excellent except for one problem - in the past couple of days we've noticed that there is a huge roach problem! And when I say huge I mean numerous and LARGE! My daughter even spotted one crawling across the baby's pack-n-play. NOT GOOD!!!

We love this property! The only thing that needs to change is the size of the beds. Please consider adding a queen/king sized beds

Had the best time! Only issue we experienced was related to the refrigerator. The ice maker never made ice, and the freezer didn't maintain its temperature well. We diligently shut the door, but the ice cream wouldn't freeze. Otherwise, loved the location, loved the view, loved the memories! Wish we could stay longer!

This is our fourth time staying at this house and we LOVE it! THe views are incredible and the house is too. Very nicely furnished throughout. The private pier across street is an added bonus w beautiful sunsets. The front porch is perfect and seats many people.
The management team is very responsive as is the owner. We can't wait to come back!!

Refrigerator freezer drawer would open all the way - could not access ice maker.
TV is a nightmare to start - it was easy for the two younger guys who come over, but we could never get it going w/o a LOT of work - useless.
The garage floor elevator door is VERY difficult to get open so you can access the elevator - never did get it to take the code - code did work on 1st floor door - go figure?
The folks who responded to our phone calls did great, but the basic problems never were resolved. Foe what it costs, we'll not return.
I am a 28-year USAF veteran and have stayed all over the world - poor is an accurate rating.

Everything was excellent except the first level outdoor shower and kitchen needed a bit of attention. Appliances could have been cleaner on the outside, and the kitchen floor needed to be cleaner. we saw a couple bugs in the kitchen area.
Other than that it was an awesome vacation. We love the Magnolia. Hope to return next year!

Magnolia is truly a wonderful place to stay! Check in was super easy as well as checking out!
The view was absolutely priceless!! The house was clean, and we felt right at home. We would definitely love to stay there again.. and would suggest this place to anyone.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this beautifully designed and highly functional home. Magnolia is well - equipped, comfortable and perfectly located for a relaxing oceanfront stay with family or friends!

Fire place in garage plus high table and chairs perfect for our group of eight to enjoy steamed and grilled oysters and boiled shrimp. First and second floor ocean side porches great for escape and sunrise viewing and coffee. Creek side dock with covered area ideal for fishing crabbing and practicing cast net throwing with grandsons in addition to beautiful sunsets and cocktails.
Hope to visit again next Fall.

Magnolia
Home and area are lovely! We were most unhappy with the never-ending amount of large water bugs in the house. Perhaps a more aggressive extermination of the premises could remedy this so the bugs do not take away from the guest experience. Also, kitchen cookware could be upgraded. If you spend a little more on kitchenware it will pay off and you will not have to replace unsightly and unusable pots and pans as often. Expensive items end up being cheaper in the long run and will impress your guests. Loved the cotton bed linens and blankets. Lounge chairs on the lower deck would be a great addition for those who want to sunbath. You have a first class home, it just needs a few tweaks for the well traveled and more discerning client. Thank you.

Great Property, Great Location
The property is relatively new, beautiful, and well-appointed. The location is outstanding, with beach on one side of the house and a deepwater creek on the other side. Our family would definitely stay here again.

WE love the house and have been staying in it every year since it was built. It seems that the level of cleanliness has gone down over the years. The cleaning service is not doing a very good job at all. This is our only complaint. I mentioned this last year as well.

BEAUTIFUL HOME!
I have never been to Pawley's Island. I was invited here for my son's wedding via my daughter-in-law's request; the island has a special spot in her heart. What a beautiful place and what a spectacular home! If looks were not enough; all the pictures of the home are an understatement. Home was immaculate- very important to me. The location was right on the beach and intercostal. Ease of entry was simple. My only negative which if you know what you are signing up for would not be considered one is all the bedrooms had queen or double beds. At least 2 if not 3 rooms could have King beds. I would definitely rent this house again. One of the best houses on the island for sure!

Perfect vacation place to stay!
This place has everything you need and could ever wish for in a beach house! This was our 48th year at Pawleys and by far the nicest property we have stayed at. We had a couple questions for the owner when we got there and they responded right away and it was smooth sailing the entire time! Sonos sound system was really nice to have access to - thanks! Beds and furniture were very comfortable, outdoor shower and plenty of water outlets for cleaning your feet, awesome dock in the back bay, plenty of parking and the elevator was a used all the time!
We renewed already for next year!

Pawleys island is great. This home is beautiful but the details and amenities are lacking for $$,$$$.$$ a week. The house was full of dog hair and they don't allow pets?? if your allergic BEWARE! They have first class electronics with little to no instruction to operate them. After we got the right remotes in the right rooms we got them to work. They need instructions in the elavator on how to operate. The kitchen gear is right from the thrift store. if you enjoy cooking this house is all wrong for you.Bring your own pots and pans utensils and your gas grill.(they provide a 80's charcoal grill) The bathroom on the first floor is shared with the first floor bed room.. Awkward!! There 2 full size beds, they are not all queens. We also ordered the linen package and didn't all of our sheets. We called Saturday afternoon and didn't get our sheets till Monday afternoon. Oh the washer also fails every forth cycle.

Lovely Place - But a couple of minor problems
We were four couples staying for a long weekend. We arrived at the house to find it very clean and just as pictured. The place is lovely and has many wonderful features. We especially enjoyed having a wine fridge to hold our wine.
Unfortunately, the elevator didn't work and we were advised to avoid it. As the house has quite a lot of steps, this was more than a minor convenience unloading our gear into the rooms upstairs. But more than that, the elevator beeped loudly until we finally had to turn off the breaker. All in all, none of this was a huge problem, but beware if you have trouble carrying your suitcase up 30 or so stairs. The bedrooms and bathrooms are lovely and nicely appointed. But the double beds in two of the rooms were a bit small for adult couples.

Hands down, the most beautiful property on all of Pawleys - I'm forever spoiled.
First things first: the photos of this property are absolutely spot on. If anything, this home is even more beautiful in person - and I didn't think that was possible! New construction is a beautiful thing. Everything about this home is top notch and spectacular, from the true foodie's gourmet kitchen (complete with warming drawer!) and beautiful interior design to the thoughtful amenities and breathtaking views. Speaking of which, there are views from EVERY side of this home - and it's designed to maximize those views. The four bedrooms are beautifully furnished, and while no two are alike, they are equal in size. Finally! A home that doesn't have a massive master suite and small guest bedrooms with shared bathrooms. This is a home that four couples can share without having to draw straws for the "best" bedroom - every one is en suite and beautifully appointed. I could go on and on about this home, but probably the best thing I can tell you is this: if you have the chance, stay at this house. Don't think twice. You will never want to leave. (And if you're like me, you'll wish your own home were as beautiful.) Forever spoiled!

Beauty and Perfection
Our stay at the Magnolia oceanfront property gave us a memory to last forever. I recommend this home to everyone. Enjoying the ocean view from every room in the house was so peaceful, rocking on the back porch listening to the crashing waves was relaxing and eating a wonderful home cooked meal in the well equipped kitchen a pleasure. My favorite activity was being with my family. The homes layout provided us with the space we needed. Enough seating at the dining table and sofas in living room. Outdoor seating for all of us and the outdoor fireplace was incredible. The property manager made sure everything was ready for us, answered all our questions and was so helpful. The home and the management company were both a pleasure.
