I would definitely stay here again!

This was a great property. A good place to stay with easy access all around Lake Almanor. The home stays cool even when the temps reach the high 80's. The property manager was quick to respond to any questions and the condition of the home was excellent!

The Cabin is very clean and comfortable. Location is great. Walking distance to Carols restaurant and the lake. Cabin backs up to a greenbelt where you can watch deer stroll by. We had a great time!

This was the perfect getaway location, enjoyed a nice walk to the lake. The cabin was very clean, and inviting! Perfect place to sit outside and watch the sunset, or play hide and seek with our 7 year old. Would stay again!

Absolutely loved this cute and clean cabin. The owners have thought of everything you might need - comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen in case you forgot something, games, puzzles, movies, corn hole, and even cute little lights for evenings spent on the back porch! Loved the close proximity to the lake - we brought bikes and enjoyed riding the trails and down to Carols Cafe. Will definitely want to return here in the future!

Our family had a wonderful time. We love lake Almanor. The cabin was perfect, comfortable, clean and inviting. We loved seeing the deer and the beautiful walks . We look forward to going back! Thank you!

The home was cozy and clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked and there were plenty of games to play. The location was perfect too. Close to the lake, town, and trails. Claire was a wonderful host and very friendly. Highly recommend staying here!

The pictures don't do justice! The cabin is a total gem in the woods. It's really cozy and equipped with everything you may need during your stay, especially the kitchen. Very tastefully decorated and inviting. Claire is a wonderful host who answers any requests or questions within minutes. We can't wait to be back!

We loved our stay at the cabin! It was only a ten minute leisurely walk to the beach. The cabin is clean, well-decorated, and well stocked with kitchen supplies. It's a great place for kids, with the bunk bed bedroom stocked with fun cartoon VHS. Only thing the house needs is a pack n play for the littlest ones! Otherwise, this is a great spot for families wanting to enjoy Lake Almanor and all the natural beauty Lassen and Plumas counties have to offer.

Fantastic cabin in the woods. Very quiet neighborhood, back porch has a great view of the woods. Anything and everything in the kitchen, we really didn't need to bring in any spices. Restaurant about 100 yards away and on the lake, fabulous food. The cabin is very comfy and quiet. reading on the front porch in rocking chairs ( what a plus), I will definitely pass this on to all my family for a great place to stay in the woods. We enjoyed our stay at this cute, neat and well decorated cabin just a short walk to Wilson’s Camp and Carols Cafe . .. everything was well organized and comfortable. We look forward to our next stay !

This is our family's 3rd summer staying here, and we always have a great time. The forest is just out the back and Carol's Restaurant, with the best blueberry pancakes, is just down the hill in the front. The cabin is well stocked with board games and puzzles .It has a porch on both the front and back of the house which is wonderful for relaxing with a good book. We look forward to coming again next summer.

This is the second time I’ve rented this property. I loved it last year and I loved it last year. Looking forward to renting again next year!

Great Cabin, large refrigerator, microwave, stove, washer dryer. Porch and back deck very relaxing atmosphere. Propane BBQ worked great. Bathrooms downstairs and upstairs. Took my 80 year old Mom, she loved this place!

Claire, Thanks for sharing your cabin with the three of us gals that grew up in Chico, vacationed in Almanor and love coming back. Favorite spots were the back porch looking out at the forest and the family room in front of the gas stove for all our conversations. Your kitchen was so well stocked (I am a kitchen person) that we wanted for nothing when it came to cooking. Neat, clean, wonderful shower, and perfect design for a cabin! It was hard to find anything wrong! Improve Experience for Future Guests...maybe a Costco Mattress Topper for the upstairs queen so that it sleeps like a cloud just like the Master Bed. Lovely house in a quiet area. Beautifully presented and very well equipped. We found it very easy to get to Lassen and enjoyed quiet days by the lake swimming and walking. Seeing wildlife walking past the house while we had breakfast was a big bonus for our young children. We enjoyed playing board games and spending time as a family. Just to note the nearest supermarket is in Chester a 15-20 minute drive away, so bring supplies.

We love your Little Cabin in the Woods. It was well stocked; it contained everything we needed. It was very clean and very comfortable. We had a lot of fun, and the kids and I especially enjoyed playing your Dog-opoly game!

We spent 8 nights at this wonderful cabin in the woods. It was just the right size for our family of four adults, although the cabin does sleep six. The cabin is well stocked with everything you need, although you might want to bring beach/camping chairs for sitting out in the sun. The back area has a great, shaded deck that faces the forest. The back area has plenty of room to set up bean bag games or lounge chairs. The location is quiet, yet walking distant to two restaurants and a bar (one very close, the other .8 mile away). We can't wait to go back for a longer stay. One caveat if you are the kind of person who can't disconnect from technology...there is internet service, but it is very slow to connect and sometimes doesn't connect at all for a while. If this is the kind of thing that wrecks your vacation be prepared. But you don't come to the mountains and lakes to sit on your phone or tablet, right? The things I personally appreciated the most were the signs by the doors that warned you to keep the doors closed at all times because of bat season. I love the mountains, but I am very afraid of bats and the signs made me confident that the owner cabin took extra care to ensure her place was critter-free. The cabin is well maintained and very clean. It's easy to see that the family who owns it loves their cabin. I felt like a well taken care of guest. The cabin was in the perfect location. We had easy access to the lake for swimming and fishing. We were only a short drive to Chester and Lassen Volcanic National Park. I hope my family gets another opportunity to stay here.

We had lots of boat issues and stayed in the cabin more of our days than we planned! This cabin is very relaxing and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting in the back and watching deer walk 20 ft from us! The shade from the trees was welcoming during the hottest times of the day! The neighbors we met were friendly and helpful with the boat issues we had. The internet was definitely spotty which was not helpful while needing to search troubleshooting for the boats but it was nice that the younger people in our group were not able to ignore us the whole trip as they talked online to their friends! The kitchen was well stocked for what we brought to cook. The location is perfect for using the free launch or just taking a nice walk to the beach to watch the sunset. Definitely recommend the cabin!

A great location, clean, comfortable and has everything you need. Feels like home. The porches are perfect for relaxing and the neighbors are great!
