We had a nice stay at Lazy Bear Lodge Cabin. It was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The photos are accurate. Communication from Randall was excellent. There is a new build next door of which I wasn't aware, and if you are looking it up on Google Street View, just know there are several more cabins than you'll see that way. So there isn't as much remoteness/privacy as it may seem at first -- but it wasn't an issue. Very comfortable, I would happily stay again!

A wonderful place to stay

The cabin was very nice and spacious for my family. My wife and son had plenty of room. The bedrooms were big and the living room was great. I would love to see the grounds in the spring and summer. The roads to get to the cabin are narrow but that’s not the owner’s fault. We drove our suburban and it was a little tricky getting out of the parking area but doable. There are some drainage issues, you can hear water draining from somewhere pretty much all the time. I unclogged the upstairs bathroom sink and it helped a lot. Water pressure is low but didn’t bother me as I’m bald but someone with a head full of hair may take a while to wash. But there is no shortage of hot water, and I’m talking really hot so thats a plus. We spent most of our days out sightseeing and eating. Trash bin had enough room for one bag of trash which worked for us as that’s all we had for our 3 night stay. Overall we enjoyed the stay and would rent again.

The owner was great and communicated we had a few issues with our stay though and the maintenance team left a LOT to be desired. The cabin is nice but its is dated and in need of some repairs. The hot tub is small with just a few jets and no power.it was also leaking, the deck wasnt in good shape i imagine due to the leaking hottub. Some of the outdoor furnature was broken the kitchen table chairs were pretty unstable as well. Pool table has been abused as well as the equipment. Its sad people dont take care of rentals and the owner has to tey and keep it up. We also had problems in both batbrooms with draining and no water pressure in showers. They are also building a new house right next to this one so the construction noise started at 730 am and lasted till around 6pm. The mountain road is narrow and dangerous and people fly up and down it. The trashcans by road wete also full so we had no where to put garbage for 5 days. We made the best of it and had fun but there were a lot of inconveniences. Will probably spend more to find something a little safer and nicer next time.

This cabin was described perfectly. The living room furniture was comfortable and the cabin was cozy. We didn’t even need to use the lower level . We were able to have our dog outside some, and he enjoyed that. There is some construction going on around the cabin, but the hours were reasonable and it was fine. We were there two nights and never left the premises as we just wanted to relax. There were a couple of issues - one with a toilet and one with locking the door from the outside when we left. We were able to work around these things and just let the owner know after we left - no big deal. We enjoyed our stay and let him know that.

We absolutely loved our stay at the cabin and Randall was wonderful to work with. I had made a mistake on my end in booking our trip and he went over and beyond I feel to help me. 5 ⭐️s all the way!

We spent Christmas in this lovely cabin. We were thrilled with the Christmas decorations when we arrived. It has a nice car pad and sitting area outside. Fantastic: -Mattresses were super comfy! They had added a queen bunk bed in the basement, Plus the futon. -Cookies on the table upon arrival. -Bathrooms were spacious and had amenities. -Kitchen-lots of supplies to choose from. Suggestions/Opportunities/Negatives: -Not a lot of flat space for dog walking/potty breaks. -Lighting-Needs more outside & replace missing lightbulbs. They did have 2 flashlights, We used them outside when we walked the dogs. It helped a lot! Maybe even label the light switches. There were some not working or turning on things we didn’t notice. -Gates on front and back decks. This would help w keeping dogs and kids contained. would have been a bonus feature. -Door replaced or added w washer and dryer. -Rearrange the furniture w the couch on the back door wall. That way you could lay on it and see the tv easily. On the staircase wall; have the chair, table and loveseat. It spreads out the furniture & utilizes all the furniture. The chair by the fireplace is wasted because you can’t see the tv. -Basement door doesn’t close without locking it. -Kitchen table is beautiful but awkward design w the legs. You can’t tuck chairs & they take up extra space. -Take new pictures! New additions are great -It’s a little high/some cars might not make it. I would love to stay again! Highly Recommend!!

We absolutely loved this cabin and it felt very much like home away from home. King sized beds on first and second floor, bunk beds downstairs… this home could easily and comfortably sleep six or more if you have kids. We loved the oversized tub, fireplace and kitchen amenities. Although we didn’t make use of but two tvs, it was also really nice to have so many tvs with wifi connected to them for easy streaming in basically any room. Neighborhood was quiet, loved the Christmas decorations, and the owner was very responsive. We would love to stay here again! Thank you Randall and team for making my birthday week a delight! ❤️

Nice cabin. Had a mamma bear and 3 cubs vist us twice. Very cool. Property manager very accessible and helpful. Great place to visit, just be careful on the mountain roads. Very tight in places.

From the moment we arrived at Lazy Bear, we knew we were in for a treat! This cabin was spectacular—from the decor to the beds to the amenities, Lazy Bear had everything we could want or need to feel at home away from home. My husband and I enjoyed spending time on the back porch rocking in the chairs and relaxing in the hot tub. The upstairs spa tub was also a special treat, and ending the day in the comfortable, spacious bed upstairs was perfect! We felt like we were in our own little haven, and we would love to return to the same cabin next year and do it all over again! Oh, we even saw mama bear and her three cubs right on the property, and we were in awe and admiration—it was the most beautiful experience! The property manager was also very quick to respond to any questions I had, and kept me informed with weather updates, etc. We had the best vacation in the best cabin, and we now see the magic in the mountains!

We enjoyed the solitude and convenience that this cabin gave us. We would definitely go back for a return visit.

This was a great location between pigeon forge and gatlinburg. Very pretty location and all amenities that we needed.

Cabin was nice. It was clean and decorated nice for fall. Outside fire pit and grill area was nice with lites. Four adults in our group and there was plenty of room. Only downside was the drive up mountain to the cabin. A little difficult to find, but host did provide detailed instructions. I did not like the narrow, winding road up the mountain, but cabin was nice. Host was responsive to questions and booking was super easy.

We had a very good time staying at the Lazy Bear Lodge Cabin! It was clean with all the amenities and close to Dollywood, restaurants and Gatlinburg.

Had a wonderful time! Nice cabin with lots of room. Got to see bears “up close” and wild turkeys. Definitely a place to stay if looking for a cabin in the woods!

The Lazy Bear Lodge Cabin was amazing. When I arrived at the cabin, it was very spacious and clean. The kids enjoyed the pool table and other games in the basement. We enjoyed sitting outside while making smores over the pit fire. The scenery was just so beautiful. I would definitely recommend this cabin and I would definitely stay there again when traveling back to Tennessee.

Upon arriving at the property the lock wasnt working properly. Floors felt like they had sand on them. Several lights in the house had burnt out light bulbs. Broken swing on front porch. These are just a few of the issues. This was after the fact I received 2 emails with the incorrect homes on them. Finally was able get the actual home I had rented information.

An awesome stay, close to all the places we wanted to visit. The host provided everything we needed to make our stay pleasant, to include an early morning visit by some bears. I would stay here again.

We spent almost two weeks at Lazy Bear Lodge. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The location is convenient to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We appreciated dealing with the owner who was very accomodating when a problem arose that was beyond his control. We will definitely look at staying here again the next time we visit the Smokies.

We just spent four nights at this fantastic cabin. Even though we had seen the photos we were still "knocked out" about how beautiful it was when we walked in. It was absolutely perfect! The decoration was beautiful. It was spotless and had everything (and more) that we could possibly need. It was great getting into the hot tub while watching the sunset after a day on the trails. It's in a fantastic neighborhood. Communication with the host could not have been better. We are looking forward to going back! Ken and Regina

Would rent again!

This cabin was everything and more then we hoped for. My son was so excited for a pool table and we enjoyed the hot tub for relaxing. Everything was very clean and it had a cozy home feeling. We would definitely stay here again!

Our family vacations in the pigeon forge/Gatlinburg area every year. This was by far, the best cabin experience we have had. It is off the normal road, up in the woods and very quiet and peaceful. There is enough space for a large family and plenty of things for the kids to do for entertainment. We will definitely be booking this one again.

Let me start by saying this is our second time staying here and Wow we love the upgrades made since we were there last year. We so enjoy the jacuzzi tub upstairs and the hot tub on the back deck. Love the game room downstairs with the added bunk bed bedroom. It is a great little cabin to relax in after a full day of activities. The fireplace is so cozy in the evenings. Being able to have a place that welcomes out fur babies is just the best! The owner is always attentive to any questions or concerns we have had. I would recommend staying here if you want reasonable prices with great accomodations. This will be where we come back to when we come again!

We had a mishap at the beginning of our stay, but the owner immediately made it right. We enjoyed our stay. Owner was very responsive. We would come here again!
