So, I got in late at night. I had had a long day of travel. I was quite grumpy and had a hard time finding the place. I was just so tired. But I called the host and she was so calm and understanding! Helped me get settled in over the phone and made sure I was okay. The stay was PERFECT! Highly recommend the location and the host and the place. Location was wonderful, walking distance to the beach, everything worked, just can’t say enough nice things. And check out Candor for a nice meal within walking distance.

The location is great -- within a few blocks of Windnsea beach and even downtown La Jolla. The construction next door was pretty loud, starting pretty early even on Saturday. I was working a lot of the time I was there though and thought this space was perfect! Good wifi and parking.

Stayed last April here for a month. Enjoyed my stay so much, returned this April. It was lovely to return and know the neighborhood.

A great small studio in walking distance to everything you need! Though the studio is small, the decor, and layout is done brilliantly giving you the room you need! Also being dog friendly was a huge plus.

Super clean! Super small, but we knew that from the listing. Could really use some curtains on those beautiful windows. Love it and would highly recommend it for the price!

Perfect spot for one right in the heart of La Jolla. Quick 10 minute walk to everything you’d need. Updated kitchens and bathrooms. Sharon was great and quick to respond with any issues I had and had them fixed extremely promptly. Would highly recommend! Just note if staying a long time there is very little hanging closet space

Had a fun and relaxing time visiting nearby beaches. Recommend the burgers at The Shack, walking distance.

Studio was pretty cramped. Bed was not advertised accurately. It was on a very short platform with one side against a wall. Very difficult for second sleeper to get in bed! Unit could have been cleaner & needed some repairs.

Cozy and cheerful. I stayed a month and would love to return. It was perfect for me and my little dog. Walked several times a day to the beach. Highly recommended.

It was a nice clean property. It had everything we needed. It is real close to the beach, some restaurants and a grocery store. It is also so close to a buss stop so that we did not need to rent a car. San Diego got a very good public transport system. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

I was here for 3 months and loved my stay. It is exactly as appears in photos. It is very bright and cheery. Neighborhood is quiet and only a couple blocks to the beach. Would come again!

Came to La Jolla to enjoy the dog friendly life. My husband and I brought our two dogs. The parking spot in the carport has to be carefully used. Our process was the dogs and I would get out of the car first and grab anything we need before parking. We have Mini Van and we’re able park. Spent most of our time walking La Jolla, Mission Beach, Coronado checking out the beaches, dog friendly off leash parks, and bike riding. We brought dog beds. Note to use the hose you have to walk through the house to get to the atrium. We would rinse the dogs and dry after leaving the parks with the water we brought and a pail to make sure they didn’t drink salt water. Ha ha learn from our mistake don’t bring a beach tent to a dog ocean park. Great stay and love that it is dog friendly! Grass is 2 minutes away via walking for the dog restroom needs. Lots of people love their dogs here so you will see lots of dogs.

I love the light in this property; it makes the space so cheerful and bright. I slept very soundly in the bedroom with the curtains wrapped all around. The patio is a sweet place to spend time eating, reading, and relaxing. The location is excellent - walking distance to the beach, and in the best La Jolla neighborhood of Windandsea. While it is a bit further from the beach than Sharon's other property, this is a great value. Sharon is attentive and easy to communicate with. I highly recommend and I would stay here again!

Great location. No views, but easy to get around and very clean and safe location.

Me and my husband and our small adult dog stayed here for a week. We loved the location and how close it was to the beach and other cute places to eat. The place including the floors, bedding, surface, comforter everything else was exceptionally clean and we enjoyed our stay. The small patio was so cute to eat dinner after work. It was a bit tight but I've lived in tighter places.. I had to mop the floor every day to keep sand out but glad there was a lot of linen and a washer dryer just outside..the small car port (exactly as advertised0 was just outside too and was super convenient. Over all we enjoyed our stay and loved the modern decor and interior of the place. Will return if you will have us again.

Great studio for the price. Wouldn't try to put more than two adults in a stay there. One bad note (the only one) if you have an SUV as we do parking is terrible. Take a small car. It was exactly as advertised.

Searching for new home: 30 days; internet photo displays 60% of studio, other portion is open patio and queen bed. You have all you need- great kitchenette, hot water shower, sofa, all kitchen items, towels and sheets, plates, pots, pans and cleaning materials, refrigerator, microwave, oven:/stove top. Off alley-One block away from a super gourmet grocery/deli and ‘Busy Bee’ bagel and pastry bakery. Two blocks away from La Jolla’s best surfing beach and Sunday farmers market. Recently painted and very clean. Ocean breeze ventilation via French door and open window above desk and counter. Economical...and you can do this!

Very clean and a great part of town

Me and my girlfriend and our small hypoallergenic dog stayed here for a week. We loved the location and how close it was to the beach and other cute places to eat, but we think the floors needed a good deep cleaning. It needed a good mop especially in the corners and under the bed. We also recommend a deep clean on the comforter, we did get some allergies towards the end of our stay. Other than the floors and comforter everything else was exceptionally clean and we enjoyed our stay. We were aware of the sugar ants problem and all it took were a few crumbs and a warm day for them to come out. I would recommend being extremely careful with food and your dogs food if you decide bring one. Over all we enjoyed our stay and love the modern decor and interior of the place.

The place was great, although small, had everything you could want and included a private outdoor space. I loved my stay there.

This property is very tiny but was fine for our two week stay in San Diego. Our request for mugs and drinking glasses was fulfilled almost immediately.

This tiny laneway cottage is as cute in real life as it is in the sparkly photographs. The kitchen is better appointed than the one I left at home. The owner has made every effort to think of everything a traveller may need. If I return I would rent a car as this suite has ample parking and is not as close to central La Jolla as I’d pictured. Due to extremely heavy rains the drains needed flushing and the owner wasted no time calling in a service to take care of it. The only caution i would have for this suite is the proportions. I am a small human at 165 cm and all of the amenities fit me great! My partner on the other hand is almost a foot taller than I and couldn’t fit well in the shower or on the toilet. It lessened his comfort to some degree.

Overall positive experience. Note: research states the average US hotel room is approximately 325sf. This unit is 125sf. It’s tiny. The space has been well designed but it’s still incredibly small. If you’re a large person, the bath and bedroom may be a challenge for you. ADVICE TO GUESTS - Remember to bring or buy (7-11 close by) your own bath soap, shampoo, cleaning supplies, extra paper towels and extra toilet paper. Bring your own beach chairs. I couldn’t find any. Bringing a whisk broom and dust pan helped with inevitable sand. UNIT PROBLEMS ANT ISSUE - Although Guests are Advised by Owner to spray unit ants with the supplied Windex, it didn’t work well. I did this but still had ants in the bed and kitchen. That was upsetting. LOCK ISSUE - The patio locks (screen and glass sliding doors) are broken and do not lock. The patio seems secure but I would have felt safer with a locking patio door. SCREEN ISSUE - Mosquitos are a problem because the front door screen has a gap and the back screen doesn’t fit the door anymore. COOLING ISSUE - No AC. No ceiling fans, but a good-working table fan is available. Ceiling fans would really help. Most of these issues are deferred maintenance issues the Owner can easily remedy if so inclined. The ANT ISSUE is a deal breaker - the owner needs to get a pest control company contract. That being said, I still had a good time. I cooked my own breakfast and lunch. Okay kitchen. I went out to dinner every night. Great restaurants. I walked 5-11 miles every day as I explored and truly enjoyed beautiful La Jolla. There’s so much to see and do. This unit is close to everything.

Clean and comfortable good location. Property manager is nice, friendly and very helpful and answered all of my questions . Most importantly we were able to have our dog who goes everywhere with us.

My 2 pups and I really enjoyed staying at this lovely place for 4 weeks. I loved being able to walk to the Windansea beach. Communication with the host was fantastic. The studio had everything I needed to feel at home. I 100% recommend this beautiful place.

Beautifully styled and immaculately clean bijou holiday stay. Just minutes from the beaches and coastal walks along La Jolla shores. We thoroughly enjoyed our week, jogging through the 'Beverley Hill's style houses along the beach and visiting at the excellent restaurants of La Jolla with our son - fresh from his marathon! The property is small but very comfortable with lots of welcoming touches. Thanks so much for our holiday!
