Nothing beats sleeping with the slider open, falling asleep to the sounds of ocean waves. Perfect set up for a week of relaxation. Such a fun trip with a terrific home base. The house had everything we needed and the backyard worked perfect for our doodle dogs. Plus the downstairs neighbor couldn’t have been nicer. We can’t forget to mention the location. So close to restaurants, etc. Looking forward to staying again.

This property is amazing! The view is incredible and the beach access is a 2 min walk. It's close to Leucadia and Encinitas restaurants and close to the highway as well. The Prop Manager is very communicative. Highly recommended!

We had an excellent stay at this property. We've stayed in the neighborhood the last 5 years and this was the best spot. The neighborhood is nice with great access to the beach. The deck offers a great view and living space during the day or night. Everything was clean and the kitchen was spacious and stocked with everything we needed to cook. Finally, the owner was attentive and professional before and during our stay. We would definitely return to this house in the future!!

This was our second time staying at this home and again had a wonderful stay! The home is clean and has everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The host is very helpful and responds right away. The best part is the view! Your backyard is the ocean with beautiful sunsets. Will come back for a third time!

What a find! We already miss sitting on the comfy patio chairs staring at the ocean all day. And the sunsets were spectacular! The two-tiered patio was huge, with plenty of seating, lounge chairs for tanning, and a full outdoor table for al fresco dining. We didn’t happen to use the fire pit but next time would try it for sure.
The home was cute & cozy, with awesome ocean views from the living room & kitchen as well as the main bedroom! Great kitchen, with an incredible stove that would have been fun to cook on but we ended up getting delivery every night (plenty of local options). I especially appreciated the abundance of supplies such as paper towels & such, which made it so easy on us.
Stefanie was a pleasure to communicate with throughout, so responsive, and made check-in and check-out a breeze.
We enjoyed walking in the neighborhood, and getting delicious coffees & pastries at nearby Pannikin. Couldn’t access Stonesteps Beach because of a major project on the shore right now & Moonlight was also closed, but honestly we had a better view from the oceanfront patio & the house! Open beaches were a short drive away.
There are stairs to get up to the house, just to note that for anyone with mobility concerns or for bringing an older large dog. But we had no trouble at all with them despite our bad knees!
We loved every minute of our stay and will definitely be back! Thanks for everything Stefanie!

What a great spot. House was as advertised. We LOVED the view. Walks on the beach, sitting by the fire pit, sunsets are spectacular, view from the master bedroom is memorable. Kitchen is well appointed. Street parking is easy. Can't wait to go back.

This little beach home is our very favorite place to stay! We keep coming back with our family year after year. It is in a great location (steps away from beach access), it is just the right size for our family of 5, and it has unbeatable view of the ocean!

Spent about a week with my family of 4 in Encinitas. The view from the house is absolutely amazing. We spent most of the time on the back patio and our dogs loved it! Would definitely recommend and hope to come back.

We stay in Encinitas often, and finding Stefanie's cliffside retreat made the weekend even more amazing. The pelicans flew over the beautiful patio multiple times a day and the dolphins would swim by frequently, too. The yard is perfect for a visiting pet and the family to relax. The inside is spacious, comfortable, clean and well-stocked. It's a quiet neighborhood next to all the good restaurants and great walking to Beacon's or Grandview (surf spots)! Amazing home with all the comforts of home! This home was perfect for 4 adults. We had perfect 65 degree weather and views that are just spectacular (especially the sunsets). We stayed on the back deck most of the time, enjoying the views and sounds of the ocean, and the ocean life that arrived each day. We saw pods of dolphins every day, seals, and lots of bird life. When you turn on the outdoor fire pit, you can sit and enjoy the view for hours. The house had everything we needed for 3 nights on the coast. It was convenient for walking to the beach, although the beach is very rocky, so not likely where you would take kids to play in the ocean. Carlsbad is much better suited for that. We did not get in the ocean or use the boogie boards provided at the house. Perhaps if it was warmer we may have given it a try. Stephanie was a pleasure to communicate with and was always very gracious before, during, and after our stay. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you so much Stephanie for renting to us!

We stayed in this beautiful house for my husband's 70th birthday. We had a great time! The house sits on a cliff with a beautiful view! There is a fire pit and plenty of outdoor seats to enjoy the view and sunset. The house is clean, comfortable, and has an updated kitchen with plenty of pots, pans and other things you would need to cook up a great meal. The beds are comfortable too. The neighbor who lives below is quiet and very nice. She knows where everything is in the surrounding neighborhood. The owner of the property is very easy to work with and answers questions right away. Overall, I give this place 5 stars and hopefully we can go back in the near future.

This property is a very special place. We loved having our coffee on the back patio watching dolphins, surfers, even a fun group of endurance swimmers. The kitchen has everything you need. Peaceful sleep with the sound of the ocean in your bedroom. The owner was very accommodating , kind and easy to get ahold of anytime. We hope to come back soon.

This is such an amazing property. The house is in a great area of town so close to everything but the neighborhood itself is very quiet and relaxing. The home has all you need in every room. The kitchen is well stocked and the bedrooms are very cozy. We were there in the heat wave and really appreciated the AC and the ceiling fans! The backyard view is so beautiful...watching the sunset was my favorite thing to do. We arrived earlier than expected and I text about a early check in....was contacted a few minutes later and allowed to go early. Great Communication thru the whole stay. I only wished I had booked a longer stay!

Property was easy to rent. Property was pretty much as advertised. The views are amazing. The beach very accessible. Four adults and two children are the max. Good access to S.D. Property manager easy to connect with when needed. Family enjoyed the property very much.

Amazing every time
The house is great but how could it not be, perched on the bluff overlooking the entire Pacific. Some steps to get into the house from the street. Kitchen is well appointed with open floor plan. The back yard is perfect for relaxing in…watching surfers below.

Encinitas Weekend
Had a lovely stay. The view and back patio are lovely and the perfect place to relax and enjoy the cool ocean breezes. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of supplies. The patio furniture was dirty and covered in sand. Fortunately there was a hose out back so I was able to hose off the table and wipe off the chair cushions. My only suggestion would be to have the cleaning crew spend a bit of time getting the outdoor furniture ready for the next guests.

Our favorite place!
This was our second stay at this Property and we could not be more pleased! The view is exactly as pictured (if not better) and the deck is a wonderful place to hang out. The house is cozy and homey while also feeling really clean. It’s a 10 min walk to moonlight beach and so many amazing shops. The house is stocked with all the kitchen supplies and appliances you need. The location is great, easy parking and quiet!
Encinitas is our home town and we love coming back to visit and this home makes it just that much better.

The property is perfect for a quiet, beach retreat. The deck is phenomenal, with breathtaking views and perfectly appointed. We could sit there all day long. The kitchen is great for making homemade meals. Great location and exceptional property management.

Unbelievable sunsets!
What a great house! We really enjoyed our stay. The view and the nightly sunsets are amazing. Sleeping with the sound of the waves is so relaxing. The street is interesting with lots of foot traffic. Stefanie is a great host and always responsive.

Great location and pet friendly
This is a great location for some ocean time. Manager is very responsive and helpful. Both showers are not as modern as the rest of the house. Beds were comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed to be comfortable. Perfect size house for 2 to 4 people and fenced yard for a dog. Door, cooktop and hood had operational issues but we were notified in advance and told they were scheduled for repair.

Exquisite views of the ocean. Heavenly. Transcendent. The house was sufficiently nice, but could use some upgrades. Waking up every morning to ocean views and sound of the breaking waves was a dream. Lots of stairs to climb, so make sure you can do it.

Amazing
This is an amazing house, the view is incredible, the BBQ grill is top of the line as is the kitchen appliances. We have been vacationing in the Del Mar-Carlsbad area for 20+ years and this home is the best!!!!!

Best views in Encinitas
This is an absolutely incredible property with some of the best views that you could wish for! It is all about the outside patio with two chaise lounges, dining table and fire pit, sofa and comfy chairs. The house is small but functional and very private. Wonderful kitchen and incredible natural light. Walkable you many restaurants and shops. Just a wonderful spot.
