We stayed here while visiting family nearby. The house worked well for us. It is conveniently located near just about anything you could ever want or need.

My sister was urgently transferred to a hospital in Grand Rapids. The property owner was very responsive, accommodating and easy to work with.

This nice, clean home suited our purpose very well. 🤗 Although it worked for us, the 2 upstairs bedrooms are only separated with a curtain, and you had to walk through one bedroom to enter the other bedroom. Although it was advertised online as “no children” the host let me know children were welcome and there was a child’s crib available, we were happy to use for our infant grandchild 😃

We stayed at this home for 2 nights because of a wedding. Everything we needed was here (ie. kitchen stuff, shower stuff, towels, etc.) The home is conveniently located close to the city, so we were only 10 minutes away from the wedding festivities (which is perfect for a late evening). The only things I would clarify to supplement the current online listing is that the pull-out kitchen table only seats 2, and the upstairs bedrooms are basically connected with a curtain (so not as much privacy in terms of sounds/snoring etc). This is minor though, and shouldn't deter anyone from staying here. We appreciated our communication with Jay very much. Thanks again!

Our stay was to attend a wedding in Grand Rapids. The house was very clean and cozy, beds were very comfortable. We did not use the kitchen but everything was there if we needed it. Very conveniently located to suit our needs.

This is a cute house that has everything you need for a visit to Grand Rapids. It is close to the freeway so easy to get anywhere in the city. Lots of space to hang out. There is a desk for working if needed. The beds are comfy. The kitchen is well stocked. There is a small island with 2 stools, but no kitchen table, so we ate in the living room because we had 4 people staying. Jay has thought of everything you could need in the bathroom - there is shampoo, conditioner, soap, blow dryer, straightener and bins of things you may have forgotten like toothpaste, dental floss, bandaids, shaving cream, razors, and more. Lots of towels, extra sheets, a crib. Jay was easy to get a hold of and responded quickly to any questions. There is a Walmart and Target close by, as well as lots of smaller stores and restaurants. We would definitely stay again.

The house itself was fine. I was disappointed the snowy walkway wasn’t shoveled and the top step leading into the house was covered in ice. I had to shovel the walkway and part of the driveway. In addition, there were two windows open in the upstairs bedrooms. Not good considering the temperature was about 20°.

My partner and I rented this property for a month and it was wonderful. It truly felt like a home away from home. The host has really paid attention to the details- he has provided everything you could possibly need during your stay, including extra touches like games, toys for kids, a crib, laundry essentials, etc. There is a Keurig and dishwasher which was really nice to have during our extended stay. Also, the first thing I noticed was how clean it was which we really appreciated. The neighborhood is older and a bit run-down but it was very quiet and safe. Jay was a great host; the couple times we needed assistance he responded quickly and helped to resolve the problem. Couch and beds are very comfortable. It is also a very short drive to downtown GR. Overall, very cute and cozy house. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again if we returned

Central location was great

The house was very clean and neat. Had a very relaxing time visiting our family in the area. Convenient to shopping and local attractions. Quiet street. Everything we needed for our trip. Just one heads up (and this is in no way a negative comment) the upstairs area is harder to keep cool in the summer so if your hot natured keep that in mind. Would not let that deter you for renting this wonderful little house! We will probably visit again.

House was clean. Neighborhood was quiet. Had a good amount of supplies. We visited the Meijer Gardens during our stay and did some shopping.

My daughter and I stayed here for 4 days. Communication with owner was good. Location was good - about 15 minutes to downtown. The house needs a few minor repairs and updates (ceiling in living room was one, a couch that is a little easier to get up from and maybe a few lawn chairs in back). As for the neighborhood it was quiet, but most homes needed some love.

The area, is close to so much that we wanted to do. The neighborhood is quiet, nobody bothered us. The house is way nicer in person than the photos do justice. Overall wonderful experience!

This property was perfect as a "home base" to visit our extended family for the week that live in Grand Rapids. Property location is in a well establish quiet neighborhood, centrally located with quick easy access to nearly anywhere you'd like to visit in GR. I needed to do some work remotely during our stay and I especially appreciated the high speed WIFI access to be able to do that. As property owner, Jay was great in providing quick helpful responses throughout the whole communication process before and during our stay. We will definitely consider this property again for future visits.

Quiet neighborhood with a short drive to downtown.

Everything we wanted. More than roomy enough for 3. Spacious kitchen. Convenient to highway. We were going to use it for our next visit (but it was booked).

Perfect for us. Three adults visiting Grand Rapids and a couple beach towns for a few days. Clean, good neighborhood. Easy access to downtown. Gone all day, return in the late evening. Great and immediate communication with the owner.

Our 3-night stay at VRBO Property 1490585 was quite nice. Having a small house to ourselves was lovely, and the house was full of little extras, like games. The water was shut off the first morning for street repairs, but the manager said he hadn't been informed that would happen (there was a notice about the 9-hour water shutoff from the contractor stuck in the door, which the manager maybe didn't see). The water came back on after a few hours, rather than being off the whole day, but maybe the manager could contact the city or contractor and ask to be forewarned about utility cutoffs in the future. Having no water at all makes a place nearly uninhabitable and certainly not worth paying for. My only issue with the setup of the house is this: The small bathroom offered no room at all to accommodate our stuff. Guests need places to hang their clothes/PJs when they shower, and they need counter space for their toiletries (brush/comb, toothbrush, toothpaste, makeup, hair products, etc.). The bathroom had no hooks and only a tiny counter -- just a few inches in width -- to place clothing and toiletries on, and most of that was filled with extra washcloths and TP. This meant that we had to cram our belongings into already-full containers (holding the property cleaning products, e.g.) or the doorknob, which wasn't large enough. Or the toilet tank. My suggestion: Please provide some hooks on the bathroom door and/or a wall, and provide a counter so guests can set their toiletries down when using the room. Thanks so much!

Location was good and the property owner was responsive but the pictures aren from a while ago. The place needs new paint inside and out and the furniture is worn out. Needs some updating.

We had a nice stay for the weekend as we celebrated my son’s wedding. The accommodations were good and as advertised. We will consider staying again if we are in the area.

It was exactly what we needed for our visit. We were in and out quite a bit. Quiet at night, slept great. Friendly neighbors.

Property was clean and well maintained. The host was very responsive and thank goodness the AC worked good as it was super hot. Will definitely plan to stay here on my return.

We can to GR for a grad party this place was super cute. Worked great for my family Had everything we forget. Plus was close to all freeways. Made getting around super easy. Will stay again next time we are in the area

This property was perfect! It was close to the airport, nice neighborhood and the house was cute and cozy and had everything we could possibly need. It was even walking distance to my sons work and a 20 min drive to his house as well. Definitely using this place again.

We had a great stay at Bellevue. The house had just the right amount of room for our family, was clean, and had great amenities. Kitchen utensils and essentials, bathroom items you may forget (including hair dryer and flat iron which I had forgotten to pack!), Nice washer/dryer, and even coloring books and crayons that my 4 yr old loved. There were so many thoughtful details that the owners put into this house which made it such a comfortable stay.
