The property overall was great. only drawback was the lack of availability of property manager from Jackson Rentals. We had a huge problem with the alarm.

We had 8 adults and 5 children (including teenagers) and this house worked well for our group, except that one downstairs bedroom had two queens. Two couples stayed in that room and it was less than ideal (no privacy) but worked out all right. Our trip was planned around going to Dollywood, so this location was ideal (just 20 minutes). We did have trouble getting access to the house after arriving. The code we were given didn't work. We called the property management and they gave us 3 more and the third one finally worked. We were fine after that but it was a little frustrating. Property management was very responsive, however. Thank heaven.

Great views, fun amenities

Wonderful condo. Very clean, quiet, and close to restaurants and shopping. Highly recommend this property. Hosts are very gracious. I would definitely stay again.

It was a great cabin that allowed our entire family to gather!

Our family really enjoyed thus property. We had a really nice time. We thought we could see the mountains from the porch but we couldn't, maybe if the leaves were gone but in August you can't see mountains. The bed was Dusty, mattress probably needs cleaned. But house was overall clean.

This property was a great time. The kids and teenagers absolutely loved the pool table and air hockey. The kitchen was well stocked our large group. The only complaint was finding enough places to eat together. For anyone bringing a dog, my only complaint is there isn’t much option to potty. We made use of what little open “grass” there was. We appreciated being able to bring our dog, but definitely nowhere to run.

It was exactly what we wanted. Management stayed in good contact. We loved having a bathroom for each bedroom! Close to towns. No complaints.

This cabin was perfect for our family of 5 and my sons two girlfriends. Location was amazing and view was gorgeous

Dishwasher smelled real bad and toilets did too. Bath tub would drain. Was filled with hair. Our party was eight adults, all over 65. All in all, we had a real good visit.

The place was nice. Dust on the kitchen plant shelf decorations. Not enough large pots & pans for our group of 11 (Supposed to sleep 16). Couldn’t check in a minute early. Had to turn on fridge, so no ice. Took so long to cool our ice cream melted in the freezer. My husband repaired the freezer door & bathroom towel bar & blinds.

Our 1st time in Gatlinburg. This property is very close to downtown and that saves a ton of time fighting traffic. We enjoyed our stay. Very clean, and the community pool was very nice also.

The location and cabin was nice but the cabin needs a deep cleaning.There were spider webs were in several areas of the living room and the remotes were very dirty. One of the main floor bathrooms smelled of urine.

Great cabin, very clean and comfortable. Some of the door handles did not lock, however the dead bolts did. Also, the alarm system did not work. There was also a window lock in the bunk bed room that would not latch and lock. Curtain rod in the pool table room was taped together with electrical tape.

Had such a wonderful time. This cabin was high in the mountain with a beautiful view of the tree. We went while it was snowing so it was just beautiful and amazing.

No decorations for Christmas! The house really needs a good cleaning windows looking out toward the Mountains were really dirty.The kitchens utensils need to be updated the can openers do not work and the knives were awful. The Master bedroom pillows were stained and need to be replaced.

Stay was good. There wasn’t any soap in one of the bathrooms. Had an issue with door lock not working. Called management and they fixed. We were concerned about having to cancel due to potential exposure of COVID since a parent of a daycare child had tested positive 5 days before our checkin date. Everyone tested before traveling and everyone was tested negative. I called the management company as soon as I heard and was told I may not get a refund or be able to reschedule since it was so close to check in date. It would be dependent on if they were able to book that day with someone else. I would also have to cancel that day. I wanted to wait until tests results before I canceled as this was our family’s social distancing Thanksgiving plan.

Nice place and we enjoyed it but I just wish they would’ve been able to fix the broken hot tub during our stay. It’s those kinds of things that impact the overall enjoyment of the trip.

Excellent location. There was 11 of us and plenty of space. The kids enjoyed the hot tub, pool table and air hockey while dinners were being made. Beautiful cabin.

Great place to visit, but too high on the mountain for my taste.

We switched properties to the "Peace & Quiet" property for our stay. This was due to the Pandemic and we had a few family members that are high risk and could not travel. Initially we tried to get a refund, because this was supposed to be a family vacation, and we were missing part of our family. The property management would not give us a refund on what was already deposited, but with a transfer fee, they worked with us to downsize to a different property. The Peace and Quiet location was nice, combining mountainside serenity while not being too close to the hustle and bustle of downtown Gatlinburg. The Cabin was clean and tidy upon arrival. The reason we did not give 5 stars was due to a few issues we had with Wood Roaches. there were a few in the house that were captured and killed, but nothing like an infestation. We understand that the cabin is in the woods and nature does happen, but seeing bugs crawling around was a little uneasy for a few of our family members. We had 2 issues with faulty equipment at the property. The first was the lower level toilet would not flush. We called the property management to come fix this and after they "fixed" it, it still didn't flush. This was inconvenient as this was the bathroom attached to the game room and the walkout to the hot tub. Which brings me to the second malfunctioning equipment, the hot tub. The hot tub was great when it worked correctly, however it malfunctioned causing the temperature to rise to unsafe levels. Maintenance was notified and we were told the problem was fixed, however we lost use of the hot tub for a day and a half. The other major issue was the temperature inside the cabin. In the contract it stated we were not allowed to adjust the thermostat. Doing so would result in a fine along with any repairs if the equipment malfunctioned. The upstairs level was so hot we had to purchase a floor fan to help circulate air. The thermostat was at a fixed 75 degrees, which seems bearable, until you add 100% humidity. The ceiling fans did little to cool the place down during the day. In conclusion, the Peace and Quiet property was nice, but it wasn't great. We will be avoiding renting from the property again due to the issues we had during our stay. We don't want to give a bad review, because there were positives about the property. We think this property would be a better place to stay during cooler temperatures.

We stayed at this cabin for 2 nights and had an absolute great time. The property was exactly what we saw in the pictures and everything was very clean when we arrived. We stayed at above the clouds cabin and really enjoyed being at the top of the hill as it gave us a sense of secludedness that we wanted. We thought the hole experience was great and HIGHLY recommend white water rafting if you’ve never been before as well!

Spacious for our group of 10 Kitchen is well equipped with the exception of a can opener. Great neighborhood w pool. My family really enjoyed our stay at Above the Clouds
