Walk to Town from Beautiful Cottage w/ Guest House & A/C 3bed/3bath!
Abbiamo appena rinnovato il Nantucket Cottage della nostra famiglia e l'adiacente Guest House nel quartiere storico disseminato di bandiera di Nantucket. La struttura si trova a pochi passi dalla città, dal porto e dalla spiaggia dei bambini.
Nessuna macchina necessaria! Ma se desideri portare la tua auto, abbiamo un parcheggio per una macchina.
La proprietà contiene sia una casa principale che una guest house separata, il che la rende un rifugio perfetto per coppie che viaggiano insieme o per famiglie che viaggiano con amici, nonni o bambinaia.
La casa principale presenta un open space con soffitti a volta, grandi travi e un camino in mattoni rossi degli anni '40. Circondata da ampie finestre, la sala da pranzo è luminosa e ariosa, un luogo perfetto per fare colazione e pianificare una giornata di visite turistiche, vela e ciclismo intorno all'isola.
Abbiamo installato bellissime tonalità pieghettate cordless bianche da 2 "Bali personalizzate con fodere per la privacy a diffusione luminosa su TUTTE le finestre della casa principale.
La cucina ha armadi su misura, ripiani in Corian, elettrodomestici in acciaio inossidabile e un bar per la colazione. Insieme al (nuovo 2019) grill a 5 fuochi nel patio, la cucina offre tutto il necessario per cucinare e servire il perfetto barbecue per la famiglia nel cortile. Il tavolo da pranzo può ospitare 6. Il soggiorno vanta un comodo divano e una SMART TV da 48 ". Troverai anche una lavatrice e asciugatrice a carico frontale.
La camera da letto principale ha un nuovo materasso Queen e un materasso a molle (autunno 2017) con bagno privato e SMART TV da 32 "; la seconda camera ha un letto QUEEN con cassettiera integrata da 6 cassetti. Tutto sommato, la casa principale può ospitare quattro persone.
La Guest House è immediatamente adiacente alla casa principale. Può ospitare due persone ed è stato completamente rinnovato. Ha un letto QUEEN, una SMART TV da 40 ", un bagno privato e un angolo cottura. Tonalità pieghettate su ordinazione di Bali 2 "su tutte le finestre. Un piccolo patio in pietra blu con una zona salotto per due si trova direttamente dietro la struttura.
L'ampio cortile sul retro è circondato da alte siepi e splendidi alberi da ombra. Nel 2019, abbiamo aggiunto un nuovo barbecue a 5 fuochi, un nuovo tavolo da pranzo nel patio con 6 posti a sedere e una nuova area salotto a 4 pezzi.
Nantucket è bellissima in estate e le giornate sono calde. Per tenerti fresco, abbiamo installato l'aria condizionata sia nella casa principale che nella pensione. L'intera struttura è ben arredata con asciugamani, biancheria da letto, stoviglie, utensili, bicchieri, stoviglie e tutto il necessario per sentirsi a casa sull'isola. Il nostro responsabile della proprietà abita a solo un miglio di distanza, quindi se hai bisogno di qualcosa può essere lì in pochi minuti. Questa casa è ideale per famiglie, coppie, artisti, scrittori, diportisti, amanti della spiaggia e abitanti di città esausti che vogliono rilassarsi.

Absolutely loved our stay at this adorable Nantucket gem! The house was perfect for our girls' trip — cozy, charming, and just a short walk to town, which made everything so easy and fun. We spent our days exploring and coming back to a super clean and welcoming space that felt like home. The little details in the decor were just too cute, and the location couldn’t have been better. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a perfect blend of relaxation and convenience on this beautiful island! Will definitely be back!

We had an amazing return stay to one of our favorite homes we have stayed in on the island. Very convenient walk to town and the various bike paths. The layout of the home with the separate cottage makes it very comfortable for everyone. The property is spotless and somehow avoids that "musty" feeling so many island properties have.

We had a great stay at this property. We were a bit worried as it’s on a busy street but was not bothered by it at all. We were able to walk down to Main Street and bike to many beaches. The inside was beautiful. Very clean and had everything we could need. The welcome gift was extremely thoughtful. We would definetily recommend this property.

We had a wonderful stay on Nantucket with two adults and three teenage girls. The cottage was perfect for our needs, communication with the owner was easy and fast, and the home was stocked with everything we could possibly need.
I definitely recommend taking advantage of the recommended pre-arrival food delivery service (amazing, so easy!) and bike rental delivery (the shop dropped off several bikes over our party's multiple arrival days and then picked everything up after we left...all for the cost of one round-trip delivery service). Definitely didn't NEED these options but they sure made our arrival easier.
FYI, this wasn't clear to me in the previous reviews, but the home is located on a pretty busy thoroughfare. This initially surprised us, but ended up not being an issue as the home is quiet once inside. It's also so conveniently located -- an easy walk to town or quick ride in the car to the beach. Just know that it's not on a sleepy street if that matters to you.

We have rented houses on Nantucket for ten years. This was by far our favorite house. Michele the owner was very responsive and thought of every detail - including birthday candles in the kitchen. We visited 17 Quaker Road , a wonderful home in Nantucket. The furnishings were top notch: nice linens beds and well equipped for anything you needed. Good lighted areas for putting on makeup-good water pressure, and a delightful , well groomed back yard.

I hesitate to share my review of this amazing home in fear that the secret will get out and I won't be able to rent it again!
We stayed 3 nights with our our 2 sets of couple friends. The house is an enjoyable 1 mile walk to town with beautiful architecture and gardens to enjoy on the way.
The house has every possible amenity you might need. We ended up making dinner 2 of the 3 nights and had everything we needed- beautiful table linens, pots/pans, sharp knives, long stemmed wine glasses and a large comfortable kitchen table that seats six people.
There are scrumptous, warm blankets and even candles on timers that come on at dusk. The towels are high quality and thick and the bed linens look like high-end hotel linens. Every room has a heat pump, including the cottage.
My husband and I stayed in the small cottage included on the property which is about 8 feet away. We had our own kitchenette with coffee maker, tv, and bathroom.
I highly recommend this property and hope to go back one day.

Great property, spacious, central to all activities. The house is wonderful and Michele and Mike were great and very responsive. We had plenty of room for the 5 of us. It was so nice to be able to BBQ with the gas grill and enjoy the big backyard. Thank you for having us again.

We have rented homes in Nantucket for 15 years and Michele's home was one of the best. It is immaculately clean, very well stocked, feels like new. The kitchen had everything and more, lovely back yard, great gas grill, the a/c was wonderful and location superb! My husband and I went with our adult daughter and her husband. They slept in the guest house, so we all had enough privacy. I HIGHLY recommend 17 Quaker. Thank you Michele for a wonderful week!

Look no further for the perfect Nantucket house rental! It is ideal for a small family or group of friends. The house itself is well stocked with everything you could possibly need for a short or long trip! It was spotless, comfortable and overall just so incredibly lovely. Lots of seating options to enjoy the backyard as well! We loved how close it was to town but also very easy to get to either side of the island. Michele is a wonderful host and has thought of so many details to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Cannot recommend this rental enough! We are looking forward to returning!!

Amazing Trip
We loved our trip to Nantucket this fall- few crowds, changing leaves, and crisp cool weather. A few favorites included two trips to Great Point (saw many seals!), golfing, walking/shopping through town, the whaling museum, Cisco Brewery, and dinner at Sea Grille.
We couldn’t have had a better experience with this home! The house is a short walk to town, so it is convenient and a car is not needed (but recommended for exploring the island!). It is well-decorated, updated, and incredibly clean. We had everything we could have possibly needed while we were there- kitchen utensils, gas for the grille, toiletries in the restrooms, laundry detergent, and so on. When we arrived, there was a fabulous welcome basket waiting for us. We all loved it and it gave each of us a piece of Nantucket to take home.
It was clear that the host, Michele, put a lot of thought into every detail to make sure her guests are comfortable. She is the most gracious host- incredibly attentive, accommodating, and kind. We had some questions prior to our stay in regards to trip planning and logistics, and Michele provided us with all of the information we were looking for and more- including recommendations for things to do and where to eat.

Such a charming, clean home
Five of us stayed at the property for a wedding. Michele, the host, was beyond easy to communicate with. The wedding had been postponed for 12 months and she was she accommodating in the rescheduling. The home is so charming, clean, and spacious - e.g., the pictures are acurate. The only aspect to keep in mind is the home is on a very busy street and the drive way can only hold one mid-sized SUV. Also, there are not many sidewalks in this town so be careful walking around (e.g., rent a car). Overall, we highly recommend the home and Michele.

Nantucket Gem
Everyone enjoyed their time and slept well. Renting was easy with the great communication and transparency from the owner. Property is nicely maintained with a beautiful private lawn and outdoor seating space. The kitchen itself was well equipped with the necessary essentials for cooking and dining. A unique aspect of the home is the private cottage with a kitchenette and a full bathroom, the three of us had plenty of space, ideal for families. The main house has two bedrooms with plenty of storage space, fresh linens, and natural lighting- one with a television and double bed, the other with a bunk bed, fitted above the storage cabinet and ideal for a small child, as well as a double bed. There’s plenty of information about the home onsite, self-explanatory. 17 Quaker Road is located a short walk to Main Street in town. Parking on the premise has room for a four door SUV, Jeep, etc. The house was the ideal space I personally needed for a long awaited return to Nantucket.

Beautiful Property
The house was beautiful and incredibly well maintained. Michele was truly the best host — she’s communicative, welcoming, and left no details unturned. Everything from the linens to the furniture layout to the cabinets contents to the flower boxes demonstrate the thoughtfulness / organization of the owners and property management team. I’ve been renting on Nantucket for 10+ years and have never been so pleasantly surprised by a property.
The location is also perfect - a quick walk to town and easily accessible drive to the beautiful beaches and neighborhood the island has to offer.
We had my parents and in-laws split the stay in the guest house. Which allowed them some additional privacy and quietness - a huge plus!

We loved this property from the moment we stepped inside. Such a great balance of feeling “tucked away”, but also so close to town and the bike paths. The layout was really great to give space to our guests and also have a large space to sit together! We will be back for sure.
