The house, the view, the huge deck and pool were all so amazing. All made even better by Carmen’s great cooking and hard work keeping the place spotless. Our entire group of 6 enjoyed everything about out stay

We loved our stay at villa los encantos- i will say, this property should lead with a description of how incredible Carmen is and the view from the pool. I will say that the furniture and layout isn’t exactly baby friendly, but our little guy loved the pool. Close to town, easily accessible by Uber, and the concierge service was really helpful booking activities and doing some grocery shopping ahead of time for us. Word to the wise- customs in PVR are a nightmare right now. I wish the concierge service was more aware of this because we felt rushed once we finally go to transportation and then felt like he was rushing to leave the house for the day because the airport had us running super late. But the property itself is incredible and we love love love Carmen.

This villa is gorgeous! The view is amazing! The villa itself is very spacious, very clean and comfortable. Every morning Carmen is there to greet you with a wonderful breakfast. She cleans the villa daily. She is a gem, as is Alberto, the concierge. We had a most wonderful vacation stay. Hopefully we will go back!

We can't believe we stayed in such a fabulous villa in PV. we walked to the beach and then to town. the place was so charming, comfortable and relaxing. But the best was having Carmen make our breakfast and kept the home clean. We loved her!

Great place, a little worn out with several lights out of order and windows that no longer close, but all that is compensated for by having an amazing housekeeper Carmen and a professional property manager. One remark is that we expected a detached home when we read the word "villa" while this is in reality an apartment above another apartment hanging off a cliff but with an amazing garden. The internet sucks - our cell phones had better internet than the WiFi.

There were 5 of us staying, celebrating my 50th birthday. The condo is just as the pictures look. Breathtaking sunsets and beautiful rooms. Alberto was so helpful arranging our groceries, chef and massages. He also checked in via text to make sure we had everything we needed. Carmen was a gem, cooked us breakfast every morning and made an afternoon snack and even margaritas a couple days. She was so friendly and and helpful throughout our stay. We cannot wait to return!

We loved our stay at Villa Los Encantos! This beautiful condo overlooks the ocean high on the cliffs of Conchas Chinas. The views are breathtaking and the condo has a very upscale yet authentic feel. The large patio was ideal for hanging out and watching the sunset every night. The services of the property manager and concierge were impeccable, and of course we fell in love with Carmen the housekeeper. She is so kind and hardworking, and she gave extra special care to our youngest son. Her breakfast was so amazing we never bothered to go out for breakfast! We also had a private chef, and the rate was very reasonable. Would definitely stay here again and hope you do too!

We had the most amazing time at Villa Los Encantos. From the minute we booked our stay, I received an email to help us with all our needs including transportation to/from the airport, grocery shopping, meal plans, and even a private chef or excursions if we so desired. The pictures do not do the house justice. It is so beautiful and has the most interesting art. There are three beautiful bedrooms with huge en-suite bathrooms, the showers are humongous! Ms. Carmen made us the most amazing breakfasts every morning and kept the villa so tidy. My boys wanted her to come home with us so they could have her banana pancakes everyday! The views from the bedrooms and the veranda are amazing, we saw whales jumping every morning and the sunsets are truly magical. We would end every night stargazing. We could easily get to town for shopping or dinners using a taxi or Uber. The pool was the perfect size and temperature for day or night swims. The area is very private and quiet, you feel like you are in your own little piece of paradise.
We will definitely be back and highly recommend this property!

Conchas Chinas is quiet, beautiful and just close enough to PV. The place is spectacular and very comfortable, we were delighted with it and the people who take care of it, especially Carmen the talented and friendly housekeeper and breakfast chef. Can’t recommend this place enough.

This rental was a dream come true! Every morning I woke up to the magical view and felt such gratitude for this experience. Carmen is an absolute delight and made us an incredible spread for breakfast every morning. She is so warm and welcoming and I was kicking myself for not brushing up on my Spanish so I could spend more time speaking with her. We spent our days by the beautiful pool, and then often took a $5 Uber to some of the amazing restaurants and nightlife nearby. I appreciate the thoughtfulness put into this rental as you can tell they take great care into making sure their guests feel comfortable. As someone that typically brings my own pillow, I was especially impressed with how comfortable the mattress, pillows, and linens are. We were so excited to see whales almost every day. Highly recommend devoting one day to take a trip to sayulita. We plan to return to this villa (and this villa only) in the future! Thank you for this wonderful stay!

The house is stunning with views that will leave you breathless. The housekeeper, Carmen is absolutely marvelous and tends to every detail. Management staff made it a breeze to check in and out. We had a hard time departing such a magical property

This place is a dream to get away from regular life. The infinity pool, the incredible housekeeper Carmen, the views of the Banderas Bay are exactly as described. The two callouts for those reading:
1. Master Bathroom Shower only gives scalding or freezing water.
2. The place really isn't easy walking distance from anywhere. Plan to Uber everywhere ($4-6 per ride)
We also used MexiTravels concierge and really enjoyed the homecooked meals. Surprisingly the grocery bill for the week was ~$400 (2 dinners + 5 breakfasts) so have that in mind when you budget things out. Alberto was very, very responsive.

As soon as you walk through the front door, you’ll be awed be the amazing view of the ocean and hillside. Our first tour through the house was a fun experience for everyone. No one could believe how nearly every room has these giant windows with views.
The house is big enough for a large family to enjoy for a week without feeling closed in. Plenty of space for people to get away from eachother whej they want to, and also never feel couped up. The patio and pool were a big hit. We stayed in July, so the humidity and heat took its toll when we were exploring Vallarta. The pool was a definitely nice to come home to and cool off.
Carmen is an excellent cook! Everyday she prepares fresh fruit and a different breakfast. The family loved her. I’d suggest asking her to make a grocery list of the things ingredients she’d like to have, and you’ll get really good, authentic Mexican breakfasts everyday.
Staying here was easy. It was our first VRBO, so we didn’t know what to expect. Transportation to and from the airport was easy and all handled through Alberto, the villas concierge. He also did a great job managing grocery runs and giving us tips on where to go etc. a really gracious host.
The house was very clean! A very important aspect to anyones stay. Carmen cleans everything, everyday, and will even do your laundry. I couldn’t believe how easy she makes everything.
Staying here was so much nicer than an all inclusive resort. Will never go back those after this experience.
Drive to town is an easy 13-15 minutes. Ubers we’re running $7-$10. However we found a good taxi guy and just tipped the heck out of him so he drove us around all day and week.
Pictures on VRBO are nice for this place but honestly do not do it justice. You’ll see what I mean the moment you open the front door and walk out onto the patio

Enchanting stay at Encantos!
From the very moment we walked through the front door we knew we were in for a wonderful vacation. The views are spectacular! They will take your breath away. We were greeted by Alberto from MexiTravels and introduced to Carmen the house keeper and breakfast cook.
Carmen is incredibly sweet, friendly and will greet you every morning with a delicious breakfast and a beautiful smile. She works very hard to keep the villa spotlessly clean.
The infinity pool with an amazing view was a comfortable warm temperature and was kept clean by the grounds keeper. Carmen supplied plenty of clean pool towels each day for our usage.
Los Encantos is in upper Conchas Chinas on a clean and safe cobble street community. It is just a short walk down to the main road
or a quick 5 minute taxi ride into Puerto Vallarta.
We took advantage of booking two dinners through MexiTravels.
Our chef Ramon made us two marvellous Mexican dinners....the tortilla soup was scrumptious. Would definitely use him again.
We had very good communication with Nanette the villa manager. She was quick to respond and help us with any questions or concerns we had. She introduced us to Monserrat and Alberto from Mexitravels who arranged our airport shuttle and chef dinners. Rolf the owner also stopped by to introduce himself and to see if there was anything
we needed. It was a pleasure to get a chance to meet him in person.
We highly recommend this amazing vacation rental. We are already planning our return in 2023.

A fabulous place to enjoy.
We (5 guests) loved the property and the staff. Carmen is excellent at her job and we enjoyed all of her attentions. The view is spectacular and it was a joy to wake up to it each morning. Happy to return to this beautiful property.

Amazing!
The house is beautiful, the pool and amenities perfect, the view, stunning, the people incredibly helpful and friendly. The experience, unforgettable.
Monserrat the concierge met us at the house on arrival. She pre-arranged everything we asked for, including an initial supply of groceries, beverages, transportation and COVID testing prior to departure. She was responsive to every inquiry.
Carmen, the housekeeper is a beautiful person inside and out, she quickly became like a loved family member. Carmen kept our house spotless and prepared delicious breakfasts every morning. She doesn’t speak English, but if you know a little Spanish, she is incredibly sweet and informative.
Marla, the chef is a world class talented chef with a wide palate of incredible dishes. Her chicharron red snapper preparation and her rack of lamb were especially memorable.
Rolf, the owner, what can I say… great guy! He really cares about his guests’ comfort and experience. He made us feel welcome and at home.
We sure look forward to returning soon.

Paradise in PV
Where to start?! The Villa Los Encantos is just that, enchanting! It well surpassed my expectations, and the photos Rolf and Nanette provided are the property to a T. Extremely spacious yet cozy. Plenty of places to lounge, read, enjoy the views, eat, and relax. Everything was pristine upon arrival, and stayed that way throughout our visit because of the marvelous Carmen. Oh, Señora Carmen, the sweetest, our savior, makes the most delicious breakfasts. The concierge, MexiTravels, is great for shopping and scheduling things like massages to come to the Villa & set up in the luscious courtyard. The views are breathtaking! It was our first time at Villa Los Encantos; however, it will definitely not be our last!

Shortcomings are Important
Do NOT stay here if you will actually be using the pool. After asking 3 times for it to be heated (1 after which someone supposedly came to turn it on), I was told it is only done in the winter months which was inaccurate in the listing.
Shower water controls are messed up - either way too hot or way too cold. Took 2 days to partially address this.
The windows do not properly close upstairs, they slide back open even if you shut them from the bottom, so I placed a weight to keep it in place. I personally would not recommend.

Los encantos will spoil you for any other rental property
The photos used to advertise the property are beautiful and accurate but to experience the180 degree views of the ocean from nearly every room in the villa is something special. The pool, the outdoor living area is incredible and provided our family evenings to talk about our daily adventures. We were speculating that you could comfortably throw a party for 50 guests within the outdoor space of this villa because it includes a private garden off of the main level.
The property is quiet but close enough to walk down to old Puerto Villarte. The neighborhood is Conchas Villas which was explained to me as the Beverly Hills of Puerto Villarte. This beautiful old neighborhood is built on a steep hill that has kept it quiet and exclusive.
One last important note. This is not your typical property rental! Because as part of the property rental, you receive exceptional service from Carmen, the dutiful housekeeper who visits each day to ensure that the property is maintained, towels are ready for your beach trip, while she also cooked us a delicious desayuno every morning. She was always graceful and patient with our family’s continuously evolving Spanish speaking skills..

This Villa is Amazing!
The very moment we entered the Villa we knew we would have the most beautiful time. This feeling just continued to expand with each day of our stay. The views are amazing! The Villa was so clean and well decorated. And, we could not say enough about how special Carmen was each and everyday.
Carman started our mornings out with such creative breakfast dishes. You can't imagine the love and care she put into her fantastic meals. We feel like Carmen blessed our days even more so because of her care to detail and in also keeping our room so clean and fresh. I've never felt so pampered in my life, she was truly a blessing.
Rolf was exceptional to work with and helped us several times with scheduling massages and lining up two evening dinners prepared by Chef Baltizar.....which were fabulous!! Again, we have never been so pampered during a vacation. If we had questions there were always answers and assistance. Rolf even did the initial grocery shopping for me before we arrived. Truly, we didn't need to think about anything but enjoy the beautiful open air Villa with fantastic views from every vantage point. The only thing we needed to do was to breath, relax and enjoy the beautiful Villa and the care from Carmen and Rolf. We felt safe and taken care of everyday. Thank you Rolf and Carmen for the best vacation and we will most defiantly be back.

Fantastic Winter Retreat for the Whole Family!
Our family stayed here in December and we couldn't have enjoyed our experience more: everything from the house, the view, the service was superb! We had a chance to meet the owner, Rolf, and he was responsive to all our needs. When we arrived to the house our refrigerator was fully stocked as requested. Carmen, the housekeeper, is a rare find! Her warm personality and cooking were simply amazing! We all agree that life is not going to be the same without her wonderful breakfasts! We thought the house looked even better in person (the details in the furnishings and decorations were stunning!). The amazing views were seen from almost every room in the house. The house was located on the top of a hill of an high-end residential community. It was relatively close to the town (we usually walked there and took a five minute UBER back). The owner even suggested Balthazar, a private chef, whose meals were so amazing that we used him three times! We had some special dietary needs with a few member's of the family and he went way and above with his gourmet meals to suit everyone's tastes. Next time, we will take advantage of Balthazar for more meals, too! We are already talking about our next visit, too- Thanks so much!

Amazing Villa
My family and I stayed at this beautiful villa the beginning of November for my mother's birthday. We had an amazing time. I have never rented a place on VRBO so I was nervous about the process. Nanette, the property manager, always responded promptly to my questions and arranged for a chef to prepare dinner for us on arrival. When we arrived to the Villa Rolf, the owner, was there waiting to greet us. He gave us a tour of the Villa, which is amazing. We enjoyed to openness of the home and how it overlooked the ocean. We spent most of our time on the terrace and enjoying the infinity pool. Two of the bedrooms overlook the ocean from the second floor of the home. The third bedroom has a view of the garden. All of the bedrooms are air conditioned, so at night we would close the windows and turn on the air conditioner. The bathrooms are all spacious. The night we arrived, Rolf served us homemade guacamole and chips that Carmen, the housekeeper, had prepared earlier for us. He had also arranged for a chef to prepare dinner for us. The dinner was delicious! It was nice to just settle in and relax while dinner was being cooked for us. Rolf had bought groceries that we requested prior to our arrival. Every morning Carmen prepared a delicious breakfast on the terrace for us. One morning she even brought us tamales that she had made at home. Carmen kept the Villa spotless. Every time we tried to clean up our breakfast dishes she would not let us help. The beach was a ten minute walk down the hill from the Villa. When ever we called for a taxi it only took them 5 minutes to arrive. We had two friendly taxi drivers, Carlos and Guillermo, who had a van that fit all six of us comfortably. Guillermo even worked on his day off to take us to the airport when we left. Rolf stopped by several times and called once during our stay to see if we needed anything. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely stay again.

We’ve found paradise
Amazing property perfect for two couples. The location nested up in the hills of Conchas Chinas was so peaceful. We watched beautiful sunsets from the expansive patio. Carmen arrived each morning with a beautiful smile and made us delicious creative breakfasts with the ingredients we had purchased. The villa is just beautiful and tastefully decorated with handcrafted mexican furniture and art. We hired a driver for the week which made the stay even more comfortable. Rolf the owner was a pleasure to meet and stopped by make sure everything was great. Highly recommend this amazing property. We can’t wait to return!

Enjoyed out stay at this beautiful villa. Carmen, the daily cook/housekeeper, was an absolute delight! Beautiful views of the bay (despite the rain and clouds). Great location - close to old town, but up in the mountains for peace and quiet! Looking forward to next year!

Excellent Stay in PV!
The Villa was magnificent! There were amazing views from almost every room! We really loved and enjoyed the different seating areas both inside and outside of the home. Carmen was there to greet us upon our arrival and took very good care of us throughout our stay. The groceries we requested were stocked and ready upon arrival. We were there to relaxed and loved the idea that we did not have to run out to the store. Carmen kept the Villa immaculate and made us a wonderful breakfast each morning. She was so pleasant and always with a smile on her face. Just wonderful! The property manager and owner were very attentive and accommodating of all of our requests; including a dinner chef on the day of our arrival and arranging massage therapists to come to the Villa and provide massages for each of our guests. My husband and I opted to have a couples massage out on the Garden Terrace… Simply AMAZING! Our overall experience was very wonderful and my husband and I have already discussed renting this property again. We would definitely recommend choosing Villa Los Encantos!
