We’ve come to OBX for many years, this was our favorite house!

We were very pleased with our stay at Barefoot! One area and really the only improvement needed from the property manager/owner is in the "little things that mean a lot". I may have missed it in the description but we arrived to very little paper products (TP, Paper Towels, etc.) and no shampoo or soap for the showers. Which necessitated a return trip to the grocery store. Also, some of the beach chairs could use some updating as most were not functional after I'm sure normal wear and tear in the coastal environment. However, again those are very minor items and did not take away from our enjoyment. Still give it a 5 star stay. The pool was great and the hot tub was also very nice and it's only a 4 block walk to the Beach access.

We had grandma and grandpa and then two families with 2 kids each. Everyone had their own master bedroom and level of the house, which was so convenient! The bunkbed room with adjoining bathroom was awesome for the kids! The outdoor hose and shower, chairs, beach tote, toys, and extra games inside the house were all comvenient! The ice maker was a plus for such a large group! The deck could use some work but if the kids wear shoes they’ll be ok. The walk to the beach is truly so easy with the kids. It’s a tiny walk on the road and then you are on a decked sidewalk that goes straight to the beach access. That particular access point was never super crowded and we could walk right out to our spot without lugging our stuff for miles of beach. It was a great week and we would book again! It’s such a quiet neighborhood and within 5 minutes of the grocery store and a great shopping center with go carts for the kids. It’s away from the crowd without being inconvenient. If you have a dog, the backyard was spacious and very shaded by the pool.
*Get the plastic dinnerware from the dinette in the movie room. We found it the last day but it would have been nice to have upstairs for the kids!

Nice property Great pool. Pantry with ice maker a huge plus Elevator so helpful for bad knees ! Dining table perfect for all of us sitting together AC was perfect spacious home - very nice

Has plenty of room for the whole family. Even though it's 3 floors there is a very nice elevator. The property manager responded quickly. We just weren't able to get the Jack and Jill shower to work. It had a ring on the faucet you need to pull down. That was new to all of us. He handled it on the phone. there was soap at each sink and a gift bag with toilet paper , paper towels sponge. the owner is very thoughtful of there renters.

We absolutely loved this house and the amenities. The elevator was a huge plus. Three king suites and a pool also a must on our list! Proximity to the 4-wheel drive beach was 5 minutes, we love to just park our truck on the beach for the day, pet friendly. Will definitely stay here again! Had to do a bit of cleaning to kitchen and our bathroom and pool area is weathered and had some trash about but we stayed at the end of the season in Sept.

We spent a week here with our family . There was plenty of room and the house was very nice . It was well equipped with everything you would need . The house was clean but some areas may have been missed . The outside shower and bathroom had some trash on the floors but other then that it was fine . We had a wonderful time and would definitely rent here again !

This house absolutely fit our group perfectly! The three masters and two kids rooms with jack and Jill bathroom connecting was just perfect. We loved having the elevator for loading and unloading. Everything matched the description and we were very comfortable. The property manager was prompt and attentive to our questions and needs. The house needs a few updates and was showing some wear as far as furniture goes (we had two chairs break during our stay, and really really missed a garbage disposal and a bigger washer), but it was absolutely nothing that we couldn't look past. Thanks for a great stay!

Amazing house, plenty of room, accommodated 6 adults and 5 kids very comfortably. All adult beds were extremely firm and uncomfortable, maybe bring a mattress topper. Grill was pretty small too.

We loved this property! The host was quick to respond and so nice to work with. We stayed here for a family reunion. House was beautiful. Very clean, and well maintained. It had the perfect amount of group gathering space, yet allowed everyone their personal space as well. The pool area was lovely and an added bonus was the hot tub! So close and convenient to the beach, and a very close drive for groceries, restaurants, and shopping.

The house was beautiful. There were some cleaning issues with a beer can being left out on a deck, spoon under a bench, a pacifier under and some stuff under the one bed. Other than that the stay was lovely and we had a great time.!

House was nice and that’s good because that’s where we stayed due to the weather. Pool looked very inviting but unseasonable weather caused us not to be able to use it. Did enjoy the hot tub though but only one area jets worked.

Our stay was great. We would rent this home again. The timing and property location worked perfectly for our group. The pool was very cold, and we expected it to be heated according to the description provided. We tried to contact the property manager for a few minor issues and questions and didn’t receive a call back. It didn’t get in the way of our stay and would recommend this rental.

We would definitely book this house again! Everything was perfect for our group. Kitchen was fully stocked, tons of games for the house and the pool! The elevator didn't work on our first day. But once I contacted the property management company they were there the next day to fix it. Loved everything about our stay!

Great location! 3 minute walk to the beach, and amazing pool! The house was a little more dated than the pictures, but that’s to be expected sometimes. Biggest issue was the nails sticking out of the deck. Communication with owner was easy and they were very responsive. Overall great stay!

Great house....love the new refrigerator... And the new lounge chairs and tv on the first floor! Lots of towels for the pool....also liked the new bench you added at the pool! Lots of games and pool toys!

First time in Outer Banks!
Go Barefoot was a great property! The kitchen/dining/living area was perfect for my family! Plenty of room for multiple people to be cooking and everyone could dine together at the spacious dining table.
There was ample space to spread out as well. If you wanted to read a book on one of the many decks in an Adirondack chair or lounge by the pool or in the hot tub.
Having multiple master bedrooms worked for our family as well.
The proximity to the beach was perfect. A very short walk to a beautiful beach.
The only negatives we had is we wished more towels were provided. (One bath towel, one washcloth, one hand towel and one beach towel) per person. We ended up having to do laundry everyday.
And the beach chairs provided could use some updating along with some of the exterior deck boards. Nails were sticking up, making for a dangerous situation if barefoot.
Would definitely rent again.

Great stay with extended family
The neighborhood is fantastic and it’s a short walk to the beach. It was well stocked with everything we needed and nicely decorated. The deck space was great and there were extra touches such as a basketball, football, pool toys and board games to enjoy. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Vacation
We were pleased with everything. The home it’s self was clean and beautiful with plenty of room. The pool area was great - spacious and with an outside shower and toilet. The communication with the owner and property managers was great. We are definitely considering coming again.

“WhaleHeads Hard Beds”
Our vacation started off with over an hour and half delay access into the home. We had requested access to the driveway which was nice after 1 pm, the cleaning crew(1) person showed up at 1:30 and was alone cleaning until 15 min prior to our 4pm check-in when the Calvary showed up to do a half ass job. The house was gross , showers unclean and floors of course sandy, dirty counters and food left in the trash. The master bath bedding was black and covered a-with white stains. TVs are a pain in the neck to navigate as the remotes are scattered throughout the house and some without batteries. The Beds are Shameful for a home that we paid over 6gs for a week. Never will return to this property.

Family vacay
It was perfect for my family of 8adults 3toddlers and 1 7yr old. Pictures do not do justice too how pretty the place is. So big! And has everything you need! Had all baby amenities. It was just perfect thank you for the perfect stay! We will be back

Beach Birthday Trip
I rented out this house to stay in for my birthday with friends and had such an amazing time. The house was very suitable for my group and had so much to offer. The pool was a huge plus, very big and very open. The house was on a quiet street with easy beach access. I absolutely loved staying in this home and would rent out again in the future!

The property is located in a beautiful neighbor. The house needs some maintenance touch ups, but overall it was a good stay. The only bad thing we experienced was the elevator was not working, and the one bathroom tub/shower had drainage issues...

Great stay and location
The house was a perfect size for our group. The walk to the beach was easy and the location is great to get to Corolla Lite and to the shopping dining area south of here. The house needs some updates, but over all a great place!

Corolla experience
The refrigerator door was broken on arrival and remained so all week. Had to keep it taped shut. Handy man came 5 days into our stay but could do anything to help the situation. Not enough pool towels for our family as promised. Plenty of kitchen supplies. Very nice pool. Many protruding nails on all outside decks which can injure feet. Windows on sunroom don’t open. But even with these problems would consider staying in this house again. Hopefully we will get our security deposit back, haven’t been able to get an answer on this. House was left cleaner then we found it.

Family vacation to Corolla
Recently travelled down from Va Beach to Corolla for a family vacation at Go Barefoot. The house was in a wonderful location and was set up well to accommodate a large extended family. Tons of deck space and a great pool area!
The house was a little dated but perfect for a week at the beach. Would visit again.

TLC Needed
The property doesn’t seem very well taken care of. There was a problem with the trash pick up. We had the previous guests trash overflowing out of the bins for three days before it was picked up. The bathrooms and floors were not clean. The hot tub was not working and the pool was not cleaned for the first half of the visit. The layout and location were the highlights of the property. If more time and money were invested in this home, it would be an ideal vacation place.

Great place for family!
The location and the house was great. It was nice having an elevator when it was time to unpack/pack. The decks had gates which was excellent for kids and pups. The 3 masters made sure that my teen nieces and my sister and her husband had a bed and en-suite. I love Corolla as it feels like how the outer banks should be and not like Nags Head. I’ll definitely be returning next year!
