We had so much fun here - it was perfect for our full family stay (children and adults). Lots to do. Huge yard. Made for relaxing. Close to the state park and larger lake area. Nowhere to dock a boat it seemed... but again, close to the lake! We highly recommend your stay here. Communication with owner was great, too.

We had a lovely time at Deanna's property. The house is well-equipped, beds are very comfortable, and the weather was perfect. The view-- the lake, rock formations, and dock-- are stunning and so peaceful. Excellent bird watching-- ducks, geese, hawks, and one afternoon we saw a dozen white cranes flying in formation which was beautiful.

We had a great time spending a few days here for Labor Day! The house had enough room to accommodate 10 people and a big backyard for activities. The place was clean and had everything we needed to relax and unwind. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Everything was as expected. Property was as advertised Clean Quiet and Peacefeul.

We loved this home! The location was perfect for us. No boat traffic at all! We were able to kayak, paddle board and lounge on floats with no worries! Plenty of indoor and outdoor space for everyone. The home had games for all ages, everything we needed in the kitchen as well. We felt right at home. We had everything we needed to enjoy family time!

Exactly what we we were looking for. Everything was well kept and we enjoyed every minute there. Good swimming area. Kids had a blast with all the perch.

Kitchen is stocked with plenty of dishes to cook with. We loved sitting out on the porch every morning and evening. Match game and UNO with our littles at the table. Made ice cream sundaes every evening. We are already booked for next year. Thank I for a wonderful stay.

The private dock was great for swimming in the afternoons and the house's location was very good for exploring Inks Lake State Park. Would certainly stay here again.

Everything with the rental went smoothly

Thus property was perfect for our weekend getaway. The dock and water area secluded and away from boats and perfect for swimmers. Outdoor area was large and enabled us to play all types of games (badminton, volleyball, baseball, ect.) We will book again! House was comfortable and had everything we needed

Beautiful property. Tons of wildlife. We saw wild turkeys, tons of deer and an armadillo. The night sky was AMAZING. I do wish the floors had been a little cleaner. Kitchen floors didn't appear to have been mopped prior to our visit and there were few dead bugs on the master bathroom floor and on the floor of the master closet which isn't too surprising with the property being located near a lake. I can only assume that it had been a few days/weeks in between rentals as far as the few bugs. We were however surprised to find out that there was no Wi-Fi. The listing doesn't mention Wi-Fi so I guess that's our bad for assuming there would be. Property description binder at the house, however, confirmed that the house was NOT equipped with Wi-Fi which was a bit of a bummer since my high schoolers had brought their laptops with them to do homework. Cell phone service is a resounding NOPE if you have anything other than probably Verizon or AT&T. My family and I have T Mobile and we didn't have cell phone service the whole stay; whereas, my in-laws who have AT&T didn't experience any interruption in their service. BUT even with the above mentioned MINOR issues, there's no doubt that this property deserves 5 stars. We chose this property based on the pictures of the backyard/private cove and it DID NOT disappoint. Fishing was decent, my 11 year old son caught a 1 lb bass and my husband caught a 6 lb catfish. If you are all about that "Lake Life" and disconnecting then this is the place for you.. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your property.

We planned this getaway last minute and had a great time! Owner was so helpful and very responsive. Property was beautiful and the paddle boat was so much fun for the kids.

Great convenient location. Property has 2 perfect outside seating patios that overlook the yard/water. Fire pit, large grill, tons of outdoor lounge areas. Really enjoyed this place. Boat dock is a for narrow boats, water is quite low and rocks all around. But with close caution, not a problem to boat in/out. Closest boat launch is across the bridge @local RV Park $10. Great privacy and open space outdoors. Kitchen fully stocked which is excellent. Well kept, comfy bedrooms. Lovely spot, will definitely return again! Thanks for having us.

Perfect!

Absolutely perfect. The property is beautiful and relaxing. We had the best time. Very clean. Plenty of dishes to cook with. Linens provided too. Plenty of seating. Very responsive host. My family enjoyed swimming in the lake everyday. The covered patio area is a great place to drink your coffee in the mornings and watch the deer.

Private, gorgeous, sparkling clean!

The house was great and the property and water/dock/rocks area were worth the price of admission. My only complaints are the lack of a washer/dryer and that the ice/water dispenser on the fridge was not working. But those are minor issues. Our overall experience was great and Deana was very responsive to all questions we had. Great place to stay!

Wow we loved our stay and had so much fun!!! The house is perfect for a big family to enjoy some family time and my family is already planning out our next trip here!! We enjoyed the paddleboat, fishing in the pier and played horseshoe as well as feeding the deer oh and I can’t forget the fire pit at night to keep us warm while seating out there all night!! Deana the owner was great and answered my questions when needed!!

This place was better than we imagined. Lots of room for kids and the dog to run around. Our 5-year-old LOVED climbing on the rocks at the lake’s edge, and the dock was beautiful. We’ll definitely be back.

A great outdoor home. Even the weather was great! Probably better in the summer. We could have used more seating in the living room but we all had fun.
