Just OK, I had problems locking both doors, Driving off main road was very bad. But the biggest flaw was Lake very low and unsightly stuff that belongs to the owner not removed and cleaned up, needs a fence because of bad dogs roaming!!! Pictures were very misleading! We liked Rena

The house was on a beautiful piece of property with an amazing view!

Convenient location, central to Llano, Burnet, Marble Falls, etc. Lots to discover and adventure. Beautiful scenery, sunrise and sunset, super quiet. Beautiful property and felt private and remote. Water was low but still an easy walk and enjoyable view. Lots of birds.

Ver easy to rent and communication with owner was easy as well

Our family of adults had a relaxing retreat at Rena’s lakeside home. Lake Buchanan is very low at this time and we found it easier to launch our boat at nearby Inks Lake State Park where we’ve been before. We appreciated an early check in and Rena was quick to respond to our needs. The king bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed the cozy living areas. There was a list of recommendations to eat and places to visit. Coopers BBQ in Llano should be added to the list :)

We enjoyed spending time at this house! The whole living space is upstairs which could be challenging to some but made for gorgeous views of the lake!

By far the best place I have ever stayed. The property itself is gorgeous and right on the lake with plenty of things to do. The cottage was big with the cutest beach decor. They even leave you a customized tote to have and use at the beach. Rena is a wonderful host and saw to all our needs. If you want a fabulous vacay with family and friends this is the place to be. Will definitely be going back!

It was a great getaway, the house had it's own unique feel, but felt like home except with a lake right out front. The kids had a blast in the water, the fishing was good even with the lake levels being low. Would definitely come back again.

We had a great time at this property. Home is very minimalistic, but it’s exactly what you need for a lake trip. We spent our time outside and in the water and on the beautiful lawn. Pictures on the site do not do the yard and lake front area justice. It’s such a special spot. Pretty private and very close to a convenience store that has EVERYTHING!

Loved staying here and the memories that we created. So much fun, we’ll definitely be back!

We booked this for our wedding party and it was the best place. Everyone that came out where blown away with the property and views. The two homes are super clean and homely. I got the best sleep of this year so far this weekend. If there was anything I would change with this property. It would be putting my name on it. There is nothing more someone could ask for. The owns where so nice and helpful.

We chose this home based on its location to state parks and because we wanted go feel like we were on vacation, since the home is on Lake Buchanan. The home and its location exceeded our expectations! It was clean and comfortable for our family of 4. Our relaxation days included coffee on the lounge chairs lakeside, watching the geese fly by, playing games on the big grassy area, dinner at the picnic table, all while enjoying 180 degree views of the lake! Our adventure days included Longhorn Cavern State Park, Inks Lake State Park, Colorado Bend State Park, and Torr Na Lochs winery. The home had all the kitchen essentials, comfortable beds, and plenty of space for putting away clothes. Every window had a view of the lake! The only negative for this amazing home would be the small shower size (think European-style) and the small bath tub in the second bathroom. If you have small kids- the bath tub will be fine. Only 1 shower for use. Please note you have to walk up stairs for this home. The ground floor is only the garage and utility room. If you have trouble with stairs- this is not the house for you. We did not have any issues with the stairs. The homeowner/property manager was very responsive and friendly via VRBO messaging. Our spring break was full of amazing memories and this fabulous home is a big reason for that! We look forward to returning.

Property and water access was perfect. Owner communication was great. Amazing views and outdoor spots were some of of the best we have stayed at in this area. Will definitely be back.

Easy and accurate

This home is beautiful. The layout of the inside of the home is well thought out and very spacious. The view is breath taking, the property is all around gorgeous & it couldn’t have been a better weekend. We celebrated my moms life & the owners were very accommodating to our needs and request. We would absolutely stay here again and will recommend to all of our friends and family. Thank you so much for allowing us to make lifetime memories in your home.

Our trip was exceptional , the house was ultra clean and the property surrounding it was great. My family really enjoyed this short getaway to disconnected and relax . We already discussing our return trip.

A group of my friends and family members take a girl’s trip every summer and this year, we booked here. Enjoyed it greatly. We had a blast. The place was clean, updated, directly on the water and well stocked with essentials. We basically only had to bring food. The internet and WiFi worked fine even though it was in the middle of no where. The property owners were nice and checked in on us through out. We tried to rent kayaks from a place about 10 mins from the lake house but they were booked up. If the owners added kayaks etc as an added feature, I imagine they would pay for themselves. We will rent again from them in the future.

Wonderful outside space for a large group of people. Great lighting for those late night beanbag games or group talks. Inside was spacious with great bed layout. Loved how the main house has 3 full bathrooms.

Very cool place. Lots to do. Humming Birds, Horseshoes, Huge Bass caught on dock! and Beautiful sunrise and sunset!
