Fuga perfetta per famiglie! Proprio sulla spiaggia con viste indimenticabili dell'alba e del tramonto. Ottima posizione, spaziosa e ben attrezzata.

The check-in process was simple, there were many kitchen amenities, lots of coffee pods. The partially fenced in yard was nice to have an added barrier between our dog and the road. The hammock was a relaxing element. The shaded sitting area under the house was appreciated during the peak heat of the day. Having waterhoses at each side of the house made it easily to keep sand off of us. There was ample beach area even in high tide (which some Edisto homes have issues with). We would gladly stay here again with a larger group, this trip was only myself, husband and our dog.

The High Tide is now our favorite beach house at Edisto! Wonderful family vacation memories with our first granddaughter were made at the High Tide! The home and its amenities are “Top Shelf”! Thank you!

This place is perfect for the entire family!
So close you are literally on the beach sitting on the back deck. You never leave the beach, its always steps away. As a family it was nice sitting on the deck watching the sunrise and then again at night watching the sunset "as a family"!!
What a memory that will.last a lifetime!
Everyone loved not having to pack snack and drinks. Just steps away in the house. Also under the house was a favorite place. Late nighht hot tub after long day at the beach once the littles.one went to bed. Need i say more. I could, but bettet yet experience it yourself. You will not be disappointed.

We enjoyed our first trip to Edisto. The house was large enough to accomodate 2 families and we loved being on the beach. We will definitely stay here again.

It's hard to adequately describe the wonderful time we had at High Tide. Each morning we’d be awakened by the sunlight of dawn coming into the beach-front bedrooms, then sip coffee on the immense deck to watch the spectacle of sunrise over the water. Then each evening, the constant soothing sound of the waves would lull us to sleep. The 6-foot tides produced a constantly changing view, with a stone jetty appearing and disappearing with each cycle.
High Tide is very well-appointed, with comfortable beds for 12 guests, 3 full baths and a laundry, as well as internet and TVs with streaming service in the 4 bedrooms and the large, open-concept kitchen-living-dining area. The kitchen has all of the tools and appliances you might need.
A real bonus was the spacious tiki bar/patio area underneath. All of the beach chairs and equipment you might need is stored at that level and there is a wonderful hot tub that was clean and shiny and ready for having a soak after a long day at the beach.
The owner, John, was very attentive and anticipated our needs. He provided a well thought out and comprehensive binder describing nearby activities and dining.
We were impressed with what our neighborhood offered for groceries, dining out and souvenir shoppes. We enjoyed walking along the beach from High Tide past the ocean-front restaurant, Coots, and along further for 2 more miles of deserted state park beach.
We can’t wait till our next trip to High Tide!

We all had a wonderful time! The ocean was our backyard and it was fantastic. The house was very nice with a well equipped kitchen. The owner was reachable with a prompt response. We will stay at this property again, hopefully soon.

I’ve been visiting Edisto for some time often staying on the beach. This is one of the better kept places on the beach with updates and everything was clean. The location could not be beat right in the beach and even a little further into the coast then the homes nearby providing some privacy. The hot tub was a great addition too especially for winter when the water was too cold for swimming. Great area for the fur babies too with secured deck and partially fenced yard. The host was helpful too and provided great recommendations. I’d absolutely recommend staying here and would stay again.

We could not ask for a better VRBO, the house is in an amazing location and at high tide it looks like the house is a boat on water. The quality of furnishings, layout and kitchen appointments made for a truely relaxing & easy way to celebrate Thanksgiving with friends and family (some from out of town)
John was a fabulous host, quick to answer questions, provide information and went offered above customer service when it came to preparing for our Thanksgiving stay.
I would not hesitate renting this house again; hoping this will become our annual tradition

This is a wonderful beach house! The closeness to the water is so excellent. The layout is wonderful for 2-4 couples or families. The whole place is well-appointed and furnished. Love. It!
Quick walk to Food Lion or other stores. Edisto is grand!

We had an excellent time in Edisto. This property was amazing. The kids felt like they were on a boat during high tide from the living room. The beach was peaceful and the home had everything we needed. This was a great location, quiet, but close to everything we needed. The area underneath the house was a great place to eat. We found some great shells on the beach. The kids are already asking when we can come back. Would definitely recommend.

The layout gave all of just the right amount of privacy.
When we wanted to be together there was plenty of space.
The kitchen was big enough for multiple chefs. The table was large enough for all of us and a highchair. The beach was very quiet. The linens were nice quality. There is a walk-in shower which the oldsters appreciated. It was perfect.

So many happy hours spent together on the deck overlooking the beach, playing in the surf and in the well appointed home. Everything needed and then some was provided. Highly recommend it! We hope to come back soon.

My first stay at Edisto Beach and it was awesome! The property was the perfect “beach getaway” - and a great location! The owner and/or his representatives were so helpful during the booking and check-in process. The owner also checked in with us to make sure all was good - also to make us aware of an issue and provide a good resolution! Quaint, beachy, perfect!

I could not have asked for a better VRBO. The house is literally steps from the water. At high tide, it looks like you are on a cruise ship because all you see is water.
The home owner is so kind and gracious. He answered all of my questions quickly, sent a list of recommended activities and places to visit, and checked in to be sure our stay was going well.
I recommend this home without any reservation.

This property has everything you need for a relaxing stay. We absolutely loved the way the ocean comes almost to the deck at high tide and it sounds like the waves are right outside your door. The view of the stars at night makes you feel like you are alone in the middle of the universe- so peaceful!

We have been going to Edisto for years and have stayed in many homes. This is at the top of our list! So close to the ocean, wonderful outdoor space downstairs and laid out so conveniently inside for multiple families. And working with the host was so easy.

Our family really enjoyed our stay here. A classic beach house with four bedrooms in the corners and an open floor plan in the center. Dog friendly and right on the beach! Communication with the owner was easy and on time.

This vacation home was almost perfect. Location, size of home and amenities were great! We saw dolphins three of the days!
Just a few things to otherwise be aware of.
The front stairs & deck were dangerous as the boards on front steps were wide enough apart for a guests cane to fit through. Sadly, both front and back decks were more then ocean worn.
The home was organized and surface clean. You could smell the bleach upon entering. Most rooms were acceptably clean. Sadly there was pet hair around most furniture footings and the bedroom facing the ocean, with the en-suite bathroom, needed quite a bit more cleaning including the quilt and oversized bed frame and bathroom.
A few sliding doors needed replacing as the seals in the glass made the view unclear and dirty feeling, including the tracks.
If you don’t mind the updates needed on the stairs and decks, or bringing your cleaning products and doing a bit of cleaning then this is a great find! The location and view were wonderful!

High Tides was clean, convenient, comfortable, and well-appointed and stocked. The beach is right out the door, the deck is perfect for watching the pelicans and dolphin and the hot tub is a great hit at the end of the day. We all had so much fun, we want to make it an annual event!

The ocean view from the deck was amazing. My dog enjoyed the enclosed deck, as did we. The home is very nicely decorated. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful, laid back beach town

If you are looking for an oceanfront property this is it! You really can’t get closer to the ocean than this. We felt like we were on a ship when we walked into the house looking out of the back glass doors. The other thing we loved is that the beach is not overcrowded and no high rise hotels or condos around. We truly enjoyed our relaxing week and plan on coming back for many more vacations.

The property location is perfect. With 2 small children we enjoyed being right on the beach. We could play on the beach and then go right in for lunch and nap time.
There are 4 bedrooms and 3 baths so we had plenty of room to spread out and have privacy for each family.
We have rented this house before and will do so again.

Loved it! The house was beautiful, and well laid out for our family. The location on the beach close to the water was perfect. Having several stores and restaurants within walking distance was a plus.
The house was also well equipped with everything needed for fun on the beach, and inside. And the hot tub was a big hit in the evenings.
We’re looking forward to another stay!

Our stay in an High tide rental house was awesome! The house was very welcoming.
The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed to make our meals.
We had plenty of linens, and all the supplies we needed to make our stay there comfortable. It was very clean.

Futrell Family 2022 Feedback
Overall impression of property is good. We noticed improvements in property were made from previous year feedback. Experienced a couple of problems regarding: (1) Access to beach in from of beach house was very difficult since the incoming tide had eroded a considerable amount of sand resulting in about a 4 foot drop to beach level. Since I am partially handicap, I had to have a couple of men to lift me down, (2) A family member experienced a significant cut on the bottom of his foot from a deck screw that was not flush with the deck surface. Further inspection revealed a number of screws in the same condition. We hammered them down to prevent further injuries. Like last year, we did not experience any insect or ant problem. Recommend refinishing the wood floors, particularly in the kitchen and living area. They give the whole house the appearance of being dirty. Definitely would consider renting again.

Can’t wait to come again
Our family loved the location of this home most of all, and it was perfect for 3 couples, with one whole side of the home perfect for a family of 5 with small children. Owner very responsive before and after the stay. Definitely booking for next summer already!

Perfect stay
The location on the beach was perfect. The layout of the house worked really well. The kitchen was of high quality. We liked being close to stores. We don't want to rave too much about this place in case it becomes too popular!

Awesome view
Enjoyed the house and the view. Just had a good bit of dog hair in the beds and on couches. House was just as described and wonderful setup. Would book again.
