Una splendida, completamente ristrutturato, casa tre camere da letto direttamente sul lago Cayuga ma a pochi minuti dal centro di Itaca. This is a beautifully appointed and well maintained home, with dock and two level large (new) wooden deck right on the lake on a quiet stretch of road just outside of Ithaca (so close to everything in town). The large windows give ample natural light and provide stunning lake views to the large kitchen/living area and the primary bedroom. The spacious deck with ample, quality deck furniture was great for enjoying the view and fresh air, and the kitchen had everything we needed and more. Everything seemed very clean and well taken care of. We will definitely look for this home for a future stay in Ithaca.

We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the beautiful cottage that had every amenity you would ever need. It was only a mile from Cass Park with a very expansive dog park so we could let the dog get his exercise.
We will hopefully be back to Ithaca next year.

My adult daughters and I stayed at this beautiful lake house and highly recommend it to families or groups of friends looking for an upscale home with all the amenities.
The house is gorgeous! Spacious and beautifully decorated. We loved the huge shower with the bench and skylight, the porch swing, the double kayak, the comfy deck chairs and the kitchen that had everything including a toaster oven, wine fridge, mini drink fridge, blender and coffee maker among other things. Of course being right on the water with a private dock was the bomb.
The view from the master bedroom was stunning. Seeing the sunrise laying in a super comfy bed was so relaxing.
We loved the layout of the house because we could gather for meals and games comfortably in the large living room but there were plenty of spaces to have individual quiet time as well with the extra downstairs den and two story wraparound deck.
The lake is very easy to navigate in the kayaks and canoe provided. We loved how active the lake is with families using a wide variety of boats. It was fun to sit on the dock or deck and watch the fun and the water fowl. So many ducks, gulls and loons!
A special bonus was the friendly rooster and chicken couple that visited throughout the day. They were so cute the way they hung out together and roamed around clucking and peeking in the door! 😆
Our host, Carolyn, was super responsive and answered our questions within minutes.

This was our 2nd time staying here (the first time in 2020). The location is perfect to both Ithaca and Trumansburg, the updated deck is just gorgeous, and the easy access to the lake with the kayaks and canoe make the stay even more relaxing. We absolutely love it here with the space, sleeping arrangements, and amenities this home has to offer. Thank you again for providing a home away from home!

Had a wonderful gathering with our family for graduation weekend. Location was convenient. Kitchen and grill made family meals simple. Loved being able to enjoy lake kayaking. The home was beautiful and we had plenty of room.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed a few nights on the banks of Cayuga Lake, while being very close to Ithaca and surrounding natural areas of interest. We loved the warm wood floors and overall timeless character of the home. Great views of the lake including awesome master bedroom views as well. The outdoor stairs and decking all appeared recently updated and provided good access to the dock and water. We had pretty decent weather to fish a bit off the dock with the kids, but it was too chilly to get out in the lake. Communication with Carolyn was quick and very helpful. The house was very clean and well maintained. Two local spots we enjoyed were Buttermilk Falls and Taughannock Gorge (and we would have loved nearby Watkins Glen had we come when the gorge trail was open). Overall, we all enjoyed it here and would definitely book again.

A lot of thought is put into making guests comfortable in this great Ithaca location. This house has everything you need for an awesome stay at the lake. The layout of the house makes the most of the lake views and everything is comfortable and well-maintained. Hope we can go back again soon!

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful house with our family and another family during a ski weekend to Greek Peak. The house had everything we needed and was well stocked, the bedrooms were spacious, and it was very comfortable. The deck and views over the lake are incredible - we hope to be back in the summer to enjoy the warm weather amenities! The property manager was very responsive and kind. Definitely recommend this place!

We had an absolutely fantastic time over the Thanksgiving holiday. The house was perfect to have our Thanksgiving away from home. We loved every minute and would love to stay again!

Very nice home with gorgeous views on the lake. There were paddle boats but we did not use them since it rained on that day. Just some small improvements: 1) add an airfryer 2) provide basic shampoos/body wash in refillable containers that cannot be tamper by guests 3) provide some small towels.

This was the perfect place for our family while visiting for a wedding. Important to note that this home, as well as many homes along the road, are located a good distance down a sizable hill from the road. And then, if you wish to go down to the lake, there are quite a few more stairs. You will see many cars parked along the road and stairway entrances. So if you have mobility issues, this may not work for you. That said, the stairs are in great repair. The stairs leading from the from down to the lake are brand new.
The owner’s communication and descriptions were very prompt and detailed. The home was comfortable and had plenty of space for our family to relax in between activities. We didn’t do much cooking as time wouldn’t allow, but there are so many restaurants around Ithaca college that finding food was not a problem. A simple Google search will find you plenty of outdoor activities like great hiking trails, playgrounds, and water activities. We are not “winery people”, but if you are, you won’t be disappointed!

This house was perfect for out family vacation. The deck was fabulous with 2 levels to enjoy. We spent many mornings and evenings enjoying the lake view from it. We also enjoyed utilizing the available kayaks and swimming in the lake when we weren’t exploring the area. Would definitely try to stay here again.

The house is beautiful! It's right on the water, and it was lovely to sit out on the deck and take in the lake and the scenery. It's within driving distance of downtown Ithaca and within 30 minutes of other attractions around the Finger Lakes. Would highly recommend as a home base to explore the area!

My sister and I with kids and husbands stayed just under a week. It was perfect. We never ran out of things to do and will book again for even longer. The updates to the property are beautiful. The living area is spacious and the kitchen had all the appliances and cookware needed. This house is a magical place close to Ithaca and all things must-see Finger Lakes.

We stayed here for a family reunion in Ithaca and the house was beautiful! The large decks with amazing views of the lake were so relaxing and the dock access for early morning paddling was a huge plus. We loved our stay and enjoyed grilling and cooking for our family. The kitchen was very well stocked and the living space was large and comfy! We’d stay again!

It was a beautiful property on the lake. We were here for a wedding in Ithaca and we had six adults and a baby and we all had a wonderful time. Especially enjoyed watching it snow outside the comfort of the house. The owner was quick to respond by text to any questions.

We loved staying at this home right in on Lake Cayuga. The views were absolutely stunning, and it was a great jumping off place for exploring Ithaca and the surrounding state parks. We would love to stay again in warmer weather. Clean and comfortable, and plenty of space for our family to enjoy. Definitely recommend!

This property is exactly as described. It’s absolutely beautiful with a stunning backdrop of Lake Cayuga Lake. There’s a great open floor plan and the rooms are all large in size. It was very comfortable for our group. We did make use of the kitchen for dinner one night, I brought my own pots and pans. I don’t know how well the dishwasher works as the utensils and plates all needed a hand wash before serving dinner. (I’d wash regardless though, force of habit). The sunrise is spectacular. If you have time to visit some vineyards Bully Hills was worth the 45 minute drive. I would definitely love to return to this property for a longer stay. The host was fantastic, very efficient with communication and not intrusive. It was lovely.

Staying right on Cayuga Lake was a lovely experience. Looking out on the water was very calming and mesmerizing. Ithaca has so much natural beauty to explore, and the town is refreshingly progressive. Staying at the lake house was icing on the cake. Hope to return.

The house and the whole experience were outstanding. The owner was very responsive and accommodating. The house and property are paradise. Parking was tricky and there are a minimum of 27 steps from car to house of you park at the bottom of the driveway (or 80 from the road to the house if you park adjacent to the road) and stairs are not well lit at night so use your own flashlight. Overall - absolutely fantastic.

Beautiful home, spectacular lake view, and convenient location! There are many steps from the street level parking to the house, but this is well documented in the host’s description and prior reviews so we were not surprised. We actually enjoyed the exercise! We also enjoyed using the kayaks provided, plus the house was supplied with everything you need. I would love to stay here again!

This is a wonderful house for a family, especially with the kayaks, canoes, picnic table and extra chairs down on the dock. Close enough to town yet still feels secluded-the public parks and hiking trails are easily accessible, and Ithaca has a lot to offer!

We were two adult couples and our small dog. Plenty of room for a bigger group. The home is exactly as listed. The view from the interior and the decks is just what you would want from a lakefront home. The sunrises from the king bedroom was amazing.

Super convenient to all but still nestled in the woods. There is plenty to do if you so desire. We rented a pontoon boat just 1.5 miles away. We went in to Ithaca for lunch, dinners, breweries, bakeries, shopping, etc
Ordered groceries through Instacart for delivery from Wegmans. Seneca lake is a lovely ride for a day at the wineries. Watkins Glen is close for a great hike and Taughannock Falls is less than 15 minute drive. Or, for a more relaxing day float off the dock or kayak/canoe.

Reconnecting with old friends
This house is lovely and very clean. There were a few items missing: paper towels and wash clothes to name a couple. The stairs from the road are very nice. However, the deck and stairs leading to the lake need some TLC. I was confused about cleanup. We were asked to wash everything and clean up (a given to tidy up) but also paid a hefty cleaning fee. Overall we enjoyed reconnecting with old friends and hanging here.

Great View
We had a wonderful week exploring the Finger Lakes from this property. It was a real treat waking up to a lake view each morning and relaxing on the porch each evening as well. It is a lot of steps, but the view was worth it. We also really enjoyed the kayaks provided and the beds and bedding were very comfortable.
