If you’re looking for oceanfront this is it…
Unit has lots of stairs, and is very much in need of TLC and updating…
Toilets need replacing.
Although right on ocean, many days the six fans didn’t keep unit cool.
We spent the month of August , and weather was upper 70’s, but if a heat wave hit, it wouldn’t be comfortable…
Unit needs a better computer/ TV …no access to Netflix etc…but had basic cable..
Someone lives in garage, but we never saw him…
Views were magnificent!!

Rental process, views and location were amazing, as advertised. The unit definitely needs updating. The showers in particular are quite small and dated. The lights throughout the house flickered quite a bit as well. The view and location make it all worth it but the property could be amazing with a few updates.

Property was beautiful. I loved falling asleep every night to the sound of the waves. Could watch the sunsets from the patio with a glass of wine. Close to downtown for coffee or food runs. Highly recommended.

A really nice place with an absolutely gorgeous view of the ocean. Everything was stocked and ready for us and check-in was easy. Eileen was also very helpful when we had a minor issue.

You can't beat this view. Friendly neighbors too!
So this was our seventh trip to Encinitas and second one not in a hotel. We are a married couple who came to town for some vacation surfing and to enjoy beers and sunset on this property's patio and the place definitely exceed expectations. It was a bonus that the next door neighbors were warm and friendly, which made for an even better vibe. I would definitely rent this property again.

A slice of heaven!
This was the best stay I have had using VRBO. The view that you get with this property is priceless. The propert managers are great and easy to contact. The house was has everything you need. We also found the neighbors to be awesome, and had many great talks while looking at the ocean. Its amazing that we are able to get this slice of heaven at an affordable price.

The property is the only home that is a rental in the group of condos so it is overseen by an HOA hit squad. My wife and I had two other couples over for dinner on the back patio. We were sitting have dinner, no music, no kids . Just adults having dinner. It was exactly 8:10pm when we got a noise complaint from one of the neighbors. The neighbors do NOT want this home to be a rental. At 10:05 were were (me and one other guest on the patio) told BY A NEIGHBOR (who came outside to tell us) that the curfew was 10:00pm and we needed to go inside. So long and short of it...the place has a great location but we would have never stayed there if we knew about the clearly ongoing issues with the neighbors....also the property is very run down. If you have a family OR are planning on having more then 2 guest over for dinner...you need to find another place. I still cannot believe that I was told to go inside the home (by the neighbor) when it was just myself and a friend having a conversation on the back patio. ALSO - the master bed was approximately 20 years old (as it was sad and saggy) and there were dark hand prints and foot prints on the wall 2 feet from my head. I actually used a tee shirt of mine as a pillow case. I could go on...but you get the point.

Incomparable view and location
This was just as advertised--a VERY nice 2 bedroom condo, clean, great location, beautiful deck, and amazing view. It's clearly a VRBO-dedicated property, as the furniture was very nice and functional, but not luxurious. Given the COVID related issues, we ate a lot in the condo rather than going out. The kitchen worked perfectly--was well equipped and all the appliances worked and there were the requisite amount of dishes, etc. And there was a washer and dryer too. Plus boogie-boards.
We were ideally situated between the famous Moonlight Beach and the "stone steps", both leading to the beach. About 2 blocks in each direction.
Our group consisted of my wife and me, and my wife's 94 year old mother and her 81 year old friend who was needed as a travelling companion. Both of the ladies had a great time in the back bedroom, and my wife and I totally loved the view from the second floor bedroom and the sounds of the ocean waves that lulled us to sleep every night.
I'd try to reserve this place again.

Fantastic view
The view and proximity to the beach is wonderful! Check in and parking were very easy and the home itself is very comfortable and has lots of windows. We had a problem with the TV service, but the manager and owner were both very helpful and made sure we had a great visit anyway. The patio is a super place to visit with family.

Pacific ocean VRBO
We feel it appropriate to review this property from two perspectives. First, the veranda & view of the Pacific: On a scale of 1-10, it’s a 15, nothing short of spectacular! Likewise, the location with its proximity to Moonlight Beach and Encinitas restaurants and shops is awesome. Unfortunately, the unit itself is considerably run down, especially the linens, towels, dinnerware, cookware, and amenities. There is internet access, but it is not secure/ password protected. Our son said you need a new router. Although we had planned to prepare and enjoy meals there, we chose not to do so. However, the issues could largely be remedied by a trip to Costco/Target. A coat of paint would also be worthwhile.
In summary, we had a nice time but look forward to hearing if you upgrade as we would love to return.

I think it is unreasonable to ask that you wash towels for the next guest. It's vacation...no body is coming to the beach to do laundry. And, you can't leave the unit with machines running. Owner should have enough towels/sheets to take care of the next guest and do the laundry off site. This unit is overdue for a complete remodel.

Fabulous Week at the beach!
Thank you so much for a wonderful week at the beach. We were SO pleased with the house. It was just as represented on your website and the video; however, the views and the atmosphere and the wonderful waves could not be described on a website! We were very comfortable and had everything we needed and then some. The beds were great and the house well stocked and exceptionally clean. The neighborhood was very quiet and pleasant, and we loved the entire area. We have stayed in many houses, and this is definitely on our TOPS list.
Would recommend Chart House in Cardiff (our favorite!) and The Biergarden and The Fish House and Saint Tropez. Also, Whole Foods was very close and well stocked.
Chris was such a help before and after our stay! Very easy to work with!
