The house was very spacious and clean. Nine people - ages 13-81 had plenty of room. The decor was great and beach themed. The only thing we thought could be improved was the living room furniture. There’s one sofa- and 3 chairs - which was not that comfortable, but not enough furniture for the amount of guest this home can accommodate. The beach was a short walk, bike ride or gollf cart ride away. Would recommend renting beach umbrellas because there’s very limited parking for carts or vehicles at the beach access. It would be quite a haul to carry a lot of gear. The beach was pretty crowded due to limited public space. Overall the home was lovely - we enjoyed the pool after a long day at the beach. We made some wonderful memories.

We had a perfect week in Blue Jewel. Everything was exactly as advertised. The pool was delicious. The beach and water delightful although a little crowded. We will definitely consider coming again!

The jewel is a great location- the house is great for gathering family and friends- great bedrooms and baths and closets. Nice heated pool, grill patio. The only negative is that it isn’t as near to beach as we like. That said- great house- we would stay again

We just returned from our vacation on 30A. We stayed at the Blue Jewel and had a wonderful time. The house was amazing and big enough to accommodate our entire family. The kids loved the pool and stayed in it constantly if we weren't at the beach or enjoying a golf cart ride up and down 30A.
Amy, the property manager, was so very helpful when my daughter left her phone. I notified Amy about the phone and within 5 minutes she text me back telling me the phone had been found and she would be happy to mail it to me. She also took the time to send me a picture of the phone (along with a bracelet that we left) assuring me that it was on its back to us. Incredible customer service!!! We had such a great time in Santa Rosa Beach. If you're looking for a large house to rent within a few minutes walk from the beach, this is the house for you. Thank you Amy for all you did!

Beautiful home! Wonderful kitchen, great living room next to it. Big dinner table was accommodating and inviting. Kids were taken care of with the kitchen island seating. Bedrooms are all amazing. The bathrooms are designed beautifully, showers are luxurious. Stairs…my rec is you be the first to arrive and choose wisely. Great exercise after eating Blue Mountain Creamery ice cream! Outside covered deck, and a private pool was a favorite of the kiddos. Our dog especially enjoyed the park a few steps away to run and do her thing. To top it off, a short distance to the beach made this family trip one to remember. Would definitely book again!

Great space for multiple families!
We had the best time at the Blue Jewel! We had 5 different families and really had enough room. They bathrooms were all very spacious! Appears to be a newer home so everything was very up to date! The manager was very responsive and even helped us after when several personal items were left. Will definitely stay here again. Only compliant was the pool alarm on the door. Great idea for safety with kids but very loud and malfunctioned several times. We loved being close to Red Fish and Blue Mabel! Nice to have walkable restaurants and the beach walk was only 5 mins.

Good location, quiet.
Everything was as advertised other than the outdoor grill. We had intentions of grilling most days but due to grill, literally, only half working, half burners out, way too much work. No pool lounge chairs but then no lounge area lol. No beach chairs for beach. Other than these items loved the house we had plenty of room for our family decorated tastefully location close enough to beach restaurants etc. Golf cart is a must tho w children. Loved the area & would rent this again even knowing I’d need to cook more than normal on vaca.

Uncomfortable stay
The kitchen counter had food on them the home just wasn't clean good enough. Most beds were very uncomfortable especially master bedroom had a hole in the middle my husband and I would end up in it every night. Pool alarm went off so I had to call maintenance to walk me through the process to take the battery out. Trash cans outside are to small for everyday trash. Most important I tried to use gas grill and the grill almost caught on fire from it being so dirty my husband cleaned it eventually and it worked fine. Other than that the home was beautiful.

Great house!
We stayed with 3 families: 5 kids 5 and under. It was very spacious for all of us and cutely decorated. Not too bad of a walk to the beach access, bakery, and ice cream. The only feedback for other families is that the outdoor deck area is a bit small so it can get a little crowded with the smaller kids running around. But, overall it was a great stay!

Perfect for multiple families
We enjoyed ringing in the new year at the Blue Jewel. Heated pool saved the trip for kids as we didn’t have the best weather. Perfect amount of space for three families!! Beach is not to bad of a walk. Could use some more comfortable furniture in den.

Amazing property!
This house was perfect for our family of 7 adults. It’s very spacious, modern furnishings and decorations and walking distance to the beach and restaurants. We also enjoyed having our other family members over for grilling out with 12 of us in the backyard/ spacious kitchen. The only complaint is the floors did not seem to be fully cleaned (our socks turned black). Everything else was very clean and nice! We would definitely stay here again!

We mistakenly assumed, surely construction will not be too bad. We were woke up early every morning to construction noises. So we took advantage of those early hours at the beach! There was a little coffee and breakfast bakery across the street to grab some bites on a short And easy bike ride to the beach. I personally would have enjoyed more comfortable furniture in the living room. The mattresses were wonderful quality! I would have preferred better pillow options. We LOVED having the private pool. We wished there would have been an outdoor grill.

Things To Improve On
Extremely functional and good quality. A few little things to improve on: several batteries dead, including one for back door alarm; mold? or dirt around outside back door handle; gas line stub sticking out of deck is total safety hazard; pool should be cleaned more often given next door construction; ice maker didn’t work at times; pool lights did not work; and would be nice to have gas grill.

Blue Jewel - a great large family getaway to the beach
We loved this property for our large group. 7 adults and 6 kids enjoyed this spacious beach house Aug 2019. We loved the bedroom size with King beds and large televisions. The bunk beds in the kids room were perfect and large. The furnishings were perfect beach theme without being over the top. The kitchen was great for preparing large meals and someone had even left a charcoal grill outside-management had told me there wasn't a grill. So that was an added bonus. The fry pans could have been better but they got the job done. The dishes and silverware were excellent. The couch in the living room was not comfortable at all but all the other chairs around the table and bar area were nice. Surprised to see light colored fabric in a rental but it looked and felt nice. The towels and bedding were great, you will need to bring your own beach towels as listed in the description. The walk to the beach is about 5-7 minutes as described and is pretty hot in early August. There is limited parking at the public beach access and we were able to get a spot early. The water at the beach was beautiful the first day and then algae moved in and made it green the rest of our stay but that didn't stop our group from enjoying the beach and waves. We only ate out once at Los Rancheros and it was delicious Mexican. Several from our group enjoyed the Blue Mountain Creamery multiple times, it's expensive but delicious - like $20 for 3 cones!! We would recommend some slip resistant paint on the deck around the pool as 5 out of 6 of our kids fell and one adult fell on the wet slippery deck. There were no major injuries and we loved having the pool so close and private. The alarm on the door was great safety for our young kids. There are a lot of stairs in this house and if you're on the 3rd floor be prepared for a workout. Also several steps up and down to the beach. The house is located on a quiet street and we took several walks around the neighborhood. There is a bike rental place across the street that we didn't use but it would be useful if you had kids old enough to ride. Overall we would recommend this house.

Family Vacation
We loved the home and private pool. The community is quiet and safe. The walk to the beach was a little longer than we anticipated but it allowed us to burn off the extra calories we consumed during vacation. Great time with the family

Lovely Home
Beautiful spacious home! However one of the beds was missing the full set of sheets, another was obviously not changed as there was hair in the bed. One of the showers also had lots of hair in it! Thankfully a very nice housekeeper was working in the neighborhood and she took care of it for us. Also found the kitchen to be dirty in some areas and several of the dishes were not clean. Very disappointing considering the amount of money we spent to rent. Overall it was very nice property and we would consider renting again!

Blue Jewel at Blue Mountain Beach
The house is set up well with a wide open 1st floor. It is a short walk to the beach but not bad unless you have a lot of gear. There are significant steps to get down to this beach so makes it difficult if you have little ones or lots of beach equipment. The beach is very clean and BEAUTIFUL.
The kitchen counter was not clean when we arrived but it always looks dirty anyway due to the finish. There is no swiffer in the unit, just a broom and dustpan so you will get sand all over. Also we had 3 maintenance visits for the pool alarm which had to be replaced. We also had difficulty with the AC on all 3 floors. After 5 repair visits on 5 different days it seemed to be repaired but that was pretty disruptive on a vacation and very hot several nights . The maintenance contact person is wonderful though and she responded almost immediately. Whatever they pay her is not enough!
We also found some stains on bed linens and towels and the walls were marked up in several rooms. We had to buy toilet paper, dishwasher soap, trash bags, as they only give you starters. The washer and dryer were super size which was great! The pool was great and the deck large enough for our group so it is wider than the photo indicates. The pool gets shade in the afternoon which was welcomed! The view is plants which was better than we expected but houses are close together so we heard babies next door and I am sure they heard ours! Over all it is great house and well suited but there are no pool toys and no cleaning supplies except dish soap. We also brought a child gate for the stairs which is necessary if you have young ones. One thing that bothered us the most is that they required electronic payment and charge you for it, whether you use credit card or electronic check.

Wife’s 40th Birthday
Great house. We had 4 couples. We rented bikes and a golf cart. The beach is a leisurely 9 min walk. 3 min bike ride. Party store bakeries bike rental and restaurants are within a block. Great location. Beach is pristine!
The personal chef we had complimented the great kitchen.

Sand and Serenity
Our family of three needed time away after a hard year and this beautiful beach house did not disappoint. The home was warm and inviting from the start, and designed with nice, comfortable furniture and soothing decor.
The rooms were spacious and I loved having my own bathroom complete with a balcony and a great shower. My girls enjoyed the bunk room and the hall bath was roomy and perfect for accommodating multiple people. The kitchen was well equipped and we had fun grabbing fresh seafood at Goatfeathers off of 30A and cooking it for dinner. The patio was a great place to sip hot coffee or eat a meal while dangling my feet in the warm pool. The Adirondacks were one of my favorite spots to sit and rest.
The Blue Mountain Beach is just a 6 min casual walk and the sunsets are just breathtaking. We ordered lunch for pickup at the Blue Mabel Smokehouse and it was beyond delicious, and just around the corner. La Loba Bakery was another favorite spot to grab some good eats, from their gluten free chocolate muffins and cinnamon rolls to their turkey wraps and veggie wraps. They are delicious, clean, and they use locally sourced ingredients.
You can't beat the location of this wonderful beach house. It's about a 5 minute drive to Grayton Beach, and about 12 minutes away from Seaside and a short drive to cool bars, restaurants and shopping. If you like to cook and prepare a lot of meals at the beach house, the Publix off of 98 was a short drive, and the WalMart is just a little further down.
I would definitely recommend this house for anyone looking to enjoy a 30A vacation. It gave us the vacation we needed and we feel rejuvenated and rested. Can't wait til we come back!

Fantastic Beach House
I had a great experience on my girls trip and the Blue Jewel wa the perfect place for a getaway. I was so impressed.....This beach house has it all....finely appointed decor in every room, multiple king beds and a fantastic kitchen. I stayed in ‘the Bunkroom”, but it was nicer than any bunk room I’ve ever stayed in before. The beach is a 5 minute walk as are bakeries and restaurants. We had so much fun! Thank you, Blue Jewel!

Relaxing Getaway with all the necessities!
Stayed here for a girls getaway weekend. It was wonderful! Fully-stocked kitchen, tons of space, comfortable beds, short walk to the beach & a few restaurants, ice cream and a heated pool! What else do you need? Would definitely stay here again. Perfect for multiple families, children (one room has 2 double-size bunks), or a girls weekend!

Excellent!!
We have stayed in a different beach house in the Seaside/Rosemary area for the past eight years and this was the first house we want to rent again. It was perfect for our family! Right off the bat you could tell how clean it was and that all of the linens smelled nice. We are four families, so we choose to cook almost every meal and having the kitchen on the bottom floor was a huge bonus! The kitchen is very well equipped. Several of us also like to juice, so finding the health food/juice bar across the street, on the way to the beach, was a gold mine!!! The interior of the house was plenty spacious and the children thoroughly enjoyed the pool.

Fun Family Vacation!
My family of 9 enjoyed our stay at the Blue Jewel so much! We had plenty of space, the house is brand new, came well equipped with everything we needed to sleep, house, and cook for 9 people all week. It is in a great spot - close to the beach and of course the Blue Mountain Creamery and Big Daddy's Bike shop - two must haves when visiting the area! We thank you kindly for a wonderful stay! Wonderful beach home!
We traveled with 2 other families in addition to ours, and the house accommodated all of us well! Well appointed with everything we needed, and the patios/balconies as well as the pool were a bonus. Easy access to all that 30A has to offer. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful beach home in perfect location!
Great 5 bedroom property with all the amenities, including private backyard pool, large flat screen TVs in each room, full sized laundry room, outdoor patios on each floor, WIFI, open floorplan with a large kitchen made for entertaining. Short walk to emerald green beaches. The Blue Jewel
truly captures the essence of 30A beach living. Ocean swimming, sand castles, dolphins, sea turtles, bonfire on the beach and gorgeous sunsets. Absolutely Amazing!!! We will return.

Excellent House for Family Gathering
This was one of the best planned houses we have found for a family gathering. We had six adults and four children six and under. The first floor is the common area which is open with dining, kitchen and living space with a nice small pool in the back. A great feature is the door alarm going to pool, which sounds if anyone goes out without pressing a button which children cannot reach. The kitchen has quality appliances and is amply stocked with dishes, silverware, and pans, and a starter supply of dishwasher soap and paper towels. There is a big screen television and televisions in every room if that is of interest. The children enjoyed some movies on the living area TV after dinner while adults were eating. Another great feature was the afternoon shade on the pool. After a morning at the beach and some quiet time, the pool was a delight for the children and the adults could sit in shade or join in the pool fun. There was also a half bath on the first floor which was so convenient for the children.
The upper two floors were bedroom floors with very nice bathrooms. There were three bedrooms with balconies and big bathrooms, one of which had a bathtub and a large shower. Two of the bedrooms on the upper floor were good for children- one had four bunk beds and the other a double bed. These rooms shared a bathroom. There was also a laundry room on the second floor with a great washer and dryer. Plentiful towels!
The location left a little to be desired. The lot is very small and other new houses are within ten feet of each other. There are really no views since there are so many houses together and no park or green areas worth mentioning. There is no really close public beach entrance since the nearby properties have gated or locked fences. It was very hot when we were there, so the walk to the public beach seemed far, although it was not. The parking at the public beach was very limited. Wonderfully, the very beautiful Grayton Beach State Park is just 2.6 miles away and has plenty of parking, a less crowded beach and lovely dunes. Day use admission was free this summer.
Some minor suggestions for improvements would be for the owner to secure the hand towel racks, many of which were already down. Also, the House next door had a motion detector that would inexplicably turn on during the night and shine in our windows. Perhaps there could be an adjustment to it. Also guests need to bring there own tissues, since there were none at all in the house.
