Benvenuti a casa nostra, Sugar Beach 311. Questa è una spaziosa camera da letto, unità al terzo piano, perfettamente curata, con vista frontale e laterale sull'oceano e sulla spiaggia, dove si possono godere le brezze incrociate hawaiane e le onde che si infrangono. Questa unità è una delle otto unità del resort che è insolitamente grande a causa del design dell'edificio. Ascolta e visualizza il surf rilassante dal tuo lanai; e in tutta l'unità. Each day while sitting on our balcony, I watched and listened to the waves as they rolled in. This condo was perfectly located with a great ocean view and a stunning sunrise view each morning. The condo was very clean and quiet. The kitchen had quality pots and pans and also had some of the basic pantry staples that you would need. I appreciated not having to purchase things like ketchup and cooking spray, The bed was comfy and the shower had plenty of hot water. The air conditioner worked quietly and kept the condo comfortable. The pool area and grounds were also clean and well maintained. The biggest negative was that the garage parking spaces were very tight, but there was plenty of uncrowded parking if we had chosen to park on the upper level of the garage. It was an easy drive to the airport, Costco, and Walmart. I did not have a need to contact the property manager, but her contact info was readily available. Overall this condo was a wonderful place to stay and I would recommend it to any couple looking for a relaxing place to vacation. I would love to stay in this unit on my next trip to Maui.

We stayed in this condo at the Sugar Beach resort and had an absolute blast! Everything was so clean and everyone was so helpful. The pool and the hot tub were great for the kids and was right on the beach so we could walk down to the ocean whenever we wanted. It is the perfect location!

This was our second time staying in this unit and it did not disappoint! The unit was as we remembered it, if not better. The unit has everything that you would need and is centrally located within the property. This time we brought our toddler and the unit accommodate us well. Our host, Bill, is fantastic and such a thoughtful owner. We would certainly stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Sugar Beach Resort. Condo was well supplied with amenities. The king size bed was sooo comfortable, just like home! Watched and waited a few days for the pool to be cleaned. They were very meticulous with the cleaning.

The apartment is renovated and clean, the ocean view from lanai is wonderful. The complex has pool and hot tub. The beach is very nice for walking and watching sunset, but I would suggest swimming in other beaches on Maui that are more interesting and have nicer waters. There is a very nice bakery and farm market just 10 min walk from the complex on the beach. definitely try the spicy musubi :-) Bill is really excellent at responding and has been very nice to communicate with. Thank you for this wonderful time in Maui!

The property was perfect for what we wanted for our 30th anniversary trip & first trip to Hawaii! Everyone was so friendly & helpful. The owners sent us a welcome packet that had very useful information on things to do as well as some things to avoid. We loved every second of our stay. The condo was quite comfortable & had everything we needed! Many thanks to the owners & Marco who made sure everything was clean, in working order, & ready for us. My only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer. One week was not quite enough!

The listing was 100% accurate. If I return to Maui, this is where I'll stay again. Bill and Cathy emailed an amazing welcome packet with all the information you need from the property to suggestions/tips of things to do. The location is wonderful because it keeps you out of the more touristy Kihei. There was a minor issue with the shower drain (probably just sand build up over time) at the beginning of my stay. A quick text to Bill and the property manager, Marco, got the ball rolling, and it was fixed while I was out sightseeing!

This is the second time we stayed at this condo, and the experience was fabulous as the owner did some recent renovations, which made our 3 week stay a very pleasant experience. The condo is very well maintained and stocked with kitchen supplies as well as recreational items. Plus the "onsite manager/contact" was great by providing immediate service to one or two minor items we had. Plus, the two different views from this end unit condo, really added to our stay and were of a great value.
Would highly recommend staying in this Unit , as the owners were great to deal with.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The unit was larger than average, contained many condiments that were leftover from previous guests so check the unit first before shopping. It is perfectly situated, especially having the extra window. The unit is well equipped with cutlery, dishes and cookware. The furniture and bed were comfortable. The bedroom seems larger than other Sugar Beach units we have stayed in. Nice feature is the underground parking. We will be back. Owners were quick to respond to any inquiries we had prior to our stay. Thank you Cathy and Bill.

We were here for my daughter’s wedding. It was great to be so close to other friends and family who stayed in the same building. It is so bright and cheerful here. We had a beautiful view of the ocean. It was very peaceful! And I loved the hot tub!! The owners are lovely!

I have SO many good things to say about this property and host, it will be hard to summarize!
This is our 5th trip to Maui and our 4th trip to SBR. We tried one new place in south Kihei once, and it just wasn’t the same.
Although staying at SBR does require you to drive to most places with the exception of the nearby farm stand, abc store, and shaved ice, the 3 miles of uninterrupted beach front is well with it.
And seriously the abc store has everything. You can walk down the road or the beach to those locations.
We stayed for 11 nights with our two kids (21 & 13). First night they had the sleeper sofa. The king size bed was way too soft for us so we switched with the kids the rest of the time and it was perfect!! The sleeper is much more firm and to our liking, we also love getting up early and enjoying our beach walk and coffee without waking the kids.
The room is nicely decorated, had tons of kitchen necessities and a huge supply of Tupperware! Boogie boards, beach towels, and a small cooler were a plus too. You can’t beat the local tour and sight seeing office onsite either! You can expect wind daily, like this owner states but we are used to that while visiting and most days it keeps you feeling cool. Pool and grounds are always immaculate. There is a local canoe team 2 minutes down the beach that you can pay to join them. We did for the first time and it was spectacular.
Recommend Kimo’s in Lahaina for food, Coconuts in Kihei for fish tacos and For and Salad for delicious lunches and Wow for Acai bowls, also in Kihei.
My only suggestion would be to add a towel and swimsuit drying rack on the lanai. It just didn’t seem like there was enough room to dry stuff for four people. Even a coat rack stand some there would be nice.

Central Maui location, nice grounds/pool
Nice condo unit that was fairly up to date. Kitchen was fully equipped and in good condition, including supplies left by previous occupants (which some might have an issue with) but having spices and other cooking amenities was a plus. The view from the third floor was awesome overlooking the bay. Furniture was in decent condition, I’d say about halfway through its useful life. The large king bed was a bit soft for my comfort and might be more than halfway through its life. Shower made the most use of the space available and was roomy, except did leave the toilet area a bit cramped. The owners supplied beach chairs, boards and a cooler along with other items. Others also left suntan lotion which was also a plus. The resort itself (at least the pool area and grills) are well maintained and clean. The exterior hallways vary and can look a bit worn and dirty at times. The beach area is not nice but I wouldn’t call it expansive. Then again you are in Maui, hopefully you are planning to visit other beaches. Would I return, I might - the location is fairly central to most of Maui and the rental rate was more than reasonable in comparison to other accommodations.

My only complaint is this condo owner added a tax after I already had a receipt stating I had paid in full. I tried to find another place to stay but couldn't because they waited to notify us until we were so close to our arrival date. It's a shame really.
