Usiamo questa casa per amici e parenti, quindi troverai tutti i comfort. Tre camere da letto per 6 persone e un divano letto con materasso ad aria per altre 2 persone. Master con un letto king size e bagno privato. Due camere da letto con letti Queen condividono un bagno completo con vasca e doccia. La strada è molto tranquilla e non ha traffico. Il canale sul retro non ha traffico, quindi l'unico traffico in barca proviene dai residenti. Ci sono diversi ristoranti e bar a breve distanza in bicicletta oa piedi. Anche la spiaggia di Hudson è raggiungibile a piedi. Le strade principali del quartiere hanno marciapiedi. È un posto fantastico per godersi una vacanza tranquilla.

This is an amazing property. Boaters piece of heaven. 10 minutes you are in the Gulf. Host is amazing, there to help with anything we needed. Very clean and comfortable with everything you need. Can't wait to come back to this amazing property.

The property was clean and well stocked with beach items and the kitchen had everything we needed. The property was entirely accessible from front to back canel. Loved sitting on the canel side patio for meals!

Home is exactly as advertised an even better. Owner Kees was prompt in answering all our questions. House was emasculate clean and keep to high standers!! We hope to return next year if available. We had a great stay for a long weekend. The home was lovely and just right for our family. It was cozy and nautically decorated which was charming. Beds are comfy which is sometimes hard to find. Kitchen is super stocked which was nice. We really enjoyed the water view from the tv room. The owner is super friendly, helpful and accommodating. We’ve stayed at a variety of places over the years and we would come back here again.

Everything about the salt air retreat was above par. We used the kayak numerous times to fish or just get out to a nearby bay. I do a lot of cooking and this is the first vrbo rental that actually had a very well equipped kitchen and a newer propane grill. The owner was very helpful when we left some medications in a dresser drawer, he promptly shipped them to us . If we come back to the Hudson area this is where we will be staying.My wife asked me to note that the beds were extra comfy! Thanks Kees

We have traveled and rented places in Hudson for years but this is, without a doubt, the nicest place we have ever stayed in. When you enter the house, you feel as though you are entering a home rather than a rental. The home is fully equipped with new or almost new appliances. The place is immaculate. In fact, they even have an I-Robot that comes out every morning and cleans the floors. There is also an
automatic room deodorant that sprays throughout the day
to freshen the air. The entire house is tastefully decorated
in a casual nautical theme. It is located on a canal in a very
quiet neighborhood. There is a table and seating for six on the outside patio with a gas grill. The owner is extremely
friendly and helpful. We would readily rent this home again and recommend it to everyone. Unfortunately for us, it is
already rented next year for our time spot.

We stayed over New Years weekend. Absolutely beautiful home! We sat on the dock and watched fireworks. Homeowner was very quick to address any questions that we had. This home absolutely felt like home away from home. 10/10 recommend!

I believe this was our 3rd time staying here and it was just as wonderful as prior visits. Owner is extremely communicative and accommodating.
The home is beautiful, located in a quiet neighborhood, with many thoughtful touches inside for guests’ comfort.

Amazing home on the water!
We do a family vacation every year to go scalloping and this home was absolutely perfect for all of us! The decor is beautiful and welcoming. It was wonderful to sit out by the water in the backyard with our 2 boats docked up securely during our entire stay! The beds were so comfortable that we didn't want to leave! I would highly recommend this vacation home to anyone who wants a home away from home!

What a pleasant vacation... everything you needed from shampoo to shovels for kids to play.
Everything was beautiful from the very entrance and throughout the entire home . Everything you can think of is there for your needs. Definitely recommended!!! We will definitely go again as a family and as group of friends.

Hudson Retreat is a Treat
Nice clean, spacious home on a quiet canal. So nice to be able to dock our 16' skiff right behind the house- minutes to the Gulf for fishing, boat rides, and to a few restaurants. Also fished (and caught) off the dock, frequent visits by resident snowy egret, great blue herons and a wood stork. Owner and neighbors shared local fishing knowledge. House is well equipped. Bed was comfortable. Owner checked in to see if we needed anything. Convenient location for day trips to Tarpon Springs, Weeki Wachi, Homosassa or Tampa/St. Pete or you can park the car and use the bikes to get around the neighborhood. Beautiful sunsets, too! :-) :-)
Spent 21 nights and wished we had some more time to spend there.

The house was spacious and the rooms were furnished neatly. The beds were very comfy. The kitchen was well equipped, however there is no room for a dishwasher. But now our kids learned how to carefully wash the dishes... We had a great time and we loved the large dining table and the cleanliness of the place. The owner is really friendly and responsive. The location is perfect for making day trips to Tarpon Springs, Weeki Wachee, Chrystal River and Tampa.

very clean ,well equipped and a nice area to stay at. couldn't ask for a nicer host that was very attentive to our needs and more than accommodating for our requests to make accessibility a reality for us. definitely would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a nice place to stay and enjoy!

Outstanding Waterfront Home
This property was the perfect package. Spotlessly clean, impeccably decorated. All the comforts of home and more. Nothing better than sitting outside by the water enjoying your morning coffee. Everything we needed was right there for us. Location is fantastic close to everything. Walter the owner is fantastic. We needed to check in early and he accommodated us no problem. Walter is one of a kind and so is his property I would return there again and again. Thank you Walter for sharing your fabulous waterfront home with us.

Spacious, clean, and hospitable
This was a great location for my family’s summer getaway. The house has plenty of room, it is impeccably clean, and the owner/manager is very responsive. The nearby beach was closed for swimming due to red tide, but the house is only about 45 mins to 1 hour away from Clearwater Beach and Honeymoon Beach, which were open and beautiful. I highly recommend this house for anyone visiting the Tampa area.

Everything you need in one spot!
We had a relaxing time. The grandkids and I used the bicycles that were provided to ride to Hudson beach. We had everything provided that we could possibly need. The entire family enjoyed the stay!

Weekend getaway
This place was phenomenal. Clean as it could possibly be, good location, great communication with owner. Will definitely look it up again if we return to the area. It was like home away from home. And oh yeah.... the water pressure in the shower was unbelievable. Where did that shower head come from?? I want one!! It was the best. Don’t even hesitate. Just get it!! You won’t be sorry. It’s all it says and then some. Thank you!!

The property was exactly as presented on the VRBO site, and the owner/manager could not have been nicer. Since we arrived late in the evening, we declined meeting in person with the owner/manager, but he was constantly available via phone.
The house and property were extremely clean and very well appointed, there was nothing else that could be asked for!
We enjoyed the immediate area of Hudson, and ventured out to Tarpon Springs, Tampa, Clearwater, and St. Petersburg, all within about an hour's drive.
There are many Publix, Wynn Dixie, and Walmarts in the area for provisioning and general shopping.
If we return to the Tampa area again, we will certainly look into renting this house.

Exceptional Hosts
My family stayed at The Salty Retreat for Spring Break 2021 and had a wonderful time, despite the weather. The hosts made the trip!!! Their home was stocked with everything needed, as well as any extras you may not have thought of. It was cozy and super clean. The neighborhood is quiet and has several local good places to eat and we made a daily trip to a tasty ice cream shop. It is close enough to Clearwater and Tampa for sight seeing but far enough for some good old relaxing with a nice fire pit on the canal/ocean. We also kayaked at the "Salty Dog" Werner-Boyce Salt Springs State Park which was so absolutely beautiful. We would highly recommend this home and are hoping to come back.

My husband and I stayed for 2 weeks in this well appointed property. Very clean and included everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Clean, relaxing, and convenient
Great 3/2 Home, comfy master bed, and very, very clean. Easy parking and close to some very good restaurants.
The floating dock worked great for our deck boat. It takes only 5-10 minutes to get to the dock from the boat ramp and even less to the gulf for fishing and great sunsets.
We also saw a dolphin jump out of the water right in front of the dock. We've stayed in other canal homes and would sometimes see a fin or breach, but this one jumped completely out to the water!
We definitely recommend this home if you are looking for a nice, clean place on the water to relax.

My family and I spent a whole week at this property and loved every minute. The house has everything. So clean and relaxing. Sit out back and enjoy the peace and quiet. Grill is clean grounds are well maintained and love the shower. If you forget something I am sure it will be in this house.

Perfect stay for a holiday visit
Nothing could have been better. We visited family nearby and needed a place to stay that was one floor and easily accessible. This property was the perfect fit. The owner saw to every detail!!! Also the owner was easy to communicate with and super accommodating. We had five adult family members who are all well traveled and all were impressed. We even enjoyed the ibis who came to visit as we enjoyed morning coffee sitting out back on the canal

Absolutely awesome
Stayed in many rentals, this one tops them all. The place has everything you need, is super clean, on a quiet street, comfortably accommodates 8 for both sleeping and dining. We brought our boat and were able to keep it right off the floating dock. Just a quick shot out to the channel and the gulf. Boat ramp at the park also just a few canals away. We brought our 3 grandsons and they had tons of fun. So much to do. They did not want to leave Weeki Wachee with the slides and the springs, and the Aqua park is just minutes away. A nightly trip to the ice cream shop was a routine. And finally a bit about the owner. He is the best. We talked the day before our arrival and he spent alot of time answering each and every question. He met us upon arrival, and walked us through the property. During our entire stay, he quicky responded to any questions we had. "Kees" is awesome, truly interested in making your stay the best anyway he can. A pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend this place, we are looking forward visiting again!
