The house is very spacious, light and airy with plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen is very well equipped, which is often unusual in a holiday home. Great deck with sea views. Really good coffee shop about 5 minutes' walk from the house. We had a wonderful week at Starfish.

My group of friends plus two children enjoyed our stay at the Starfish. It's a very large two storey house, big enough to accommodate 8 adults. Very close to Hyams beach, only a 5 min walk (although you'll have to walk uphill back to the house). There's also a cafe 5mins walk from the house by the beach which is very convenient.
We did feel a bit like we were walking on eggshells as there were signs and rules throughout the house. Otherwise would've given it 5 stars.

Starfish was an excellent choice by us, plenty of off street parking, walk through the front door and it’s the “wow” factor from music playing and that view. Starfish is the cleanest accommodation I’ve ever stayed in and so close to the beach. Credit to Host Marina and her cleaning staff.

Had a wonderful time in Hyams beach and this house was perfect! Great location with everything you need! The table tennis game was a hit with young and old!

Excellent experience!! The property is beautiful and kept very clean and tidy. We enjoy every second of it. Perfect location, close to Hyams Beach and surrounding areas. We will come back!!

Starfish Beachhouse
Overall the house was good but there are not 3 bathrooms as advertised as the outdoor shower is counted as a bathroom.The house rule signs throughout the house are overkill making us feel unwelcome.Wifi access would be an improvement.We did not use the bbq as we were afraid to get it dirty!!!

Girl’s Weekend
My girlfriends and I had a great weekend away. The property was clean and comfortable and in a great location. The only problem we encountered was poor phone reception (Telstra & Optus) and no wifi at the property. Other than that, the weekend was just perfect.

Great Place
Fantastic property in a fabulous location. The only downside for us was having our 1 year old. The house is not designed to be occupied by children under 4. Perfect for older kids though.

Good stay for low peak times
Lovely property, entry level bathroom and loft bedroom were not as comfortable for a second family sharing (unequal size & privacy with no door for the loft bedroom). Was enjoyable to be close to our favourite Chinaman's beach. General area would be too busy in peak season with Bodereee Ave at front of house being busy with traffic and crowded beaches with tourists. We enjoyed our stay as it was the shoulder season.
Marina was very prompt with all our requests when things broke down in the house.

Fun filled holiday
Our group of girls last visited Starfish 15 years ago and the standard and quality has been well maintained. A credit to the owner Marina who was responsive to all my enquiries. Great location, fantastic views, pleasant bush/beach walks.

We stayed for four days three nights. We found it easy to get to beach. It was so clean and bright. Love all the colorful artworks and attention to detail. Wish we could stay longer. We will be back. Thank you.

Wonderful Holiday
We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Starfish House. Marina was a great host and her house was stylish and spotless. Lovely big well equipped kitchen to cook in and a very relaxing living area to chill out in. The kids had a great time playing table tennis while we could have a drink on the deck and take in the beautiful view. Setting the alarm to watch the sunrise from the verandah is a must! Lovely comfortable beds in gorgeous bedrooms too. A few minute's walk to the beach and General Store. I used to go to Hyams Beach on holiday when I was growing up and staying at Marina's house has made me fall in love with the area all over again. I would highly recommend this house to anyone visiting Hyams. We would definitely stay again.

Relaxing long weekend
We had a lovely stay at Starfish. Very comfortable house with lots of amenities. Would be good to have WIfi but otherwise this house was perfectly positioned a short walk to the beach, with lots of space.

Amazing clean house in an excellent location, only minutes from the famous Hyams beach.
Marina’s house was amazing, fully equipped and very clean and just minutes walk to Hyams beach. Communication with Marina was excellent and she assisted with all our questions swiftly. The house was fully equipped with all utensils and in an excellent location. Would highly recommend for a group of friends or family. We will definitely visit again, thanks Marina.

Comfortable and close to the beach
House is very comfortable and clean. Big kitchen and close to the beach.
We had a great weekend away.
Air con, good outdoor area, parking and well equip kitchen, allowed our group to interact well.
Only thing missing is WiFi as the network reception is not great in the area, I believe this is in the process of being organized.
We would definitely stay there again.

Amazing experience at Starfish Beach House
Starfish beach house is the most beautiful, clean and comfortable holiday house compared to many others. We highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to stay at Hyams beach, as it has a view of the ocean and is only a short walk to the beach. Marina is a wonderful host which makes the experience even more enjoyable!

Perfect!
The house was set up to cater for everything you would need; small details such as chilled water in the fridge and ice cubes ready to go for your gin and tonic; the kitchen was well stocked with top quality pans for cooking and a store cupboard with all the essentials. Dishwasher tablets and washing powder were also generously provided. And! it was scrupulously clean!

Generally ok stay
The location and cleanliness of the property was good and we generally enjoyed our stay.
The facilities provided by the property were also good.
However, there were downsides to the stay including being constantly monitored by the next door neighbour and the property manager turning up at the property to question our group about the stay.
We did not appreciate the neighbour watching us from her balcony the entire weekend - it made us feel uncomfortable and we couldn’t entirely enjoy our stay.
We also felt very uncomfortable when the property manager arrived at the property and questioned us about our stay.
Our group was very respectful, very clean and did not make any excessive noise so we did not appreciate being interrogated by the property manager mid way through the stay.
We have stayed at many properties and have never experienced the above. As a result of the above, we will not be staying at this property again.

Beautiful house and perfect location
House is beautiful and well equipped - I would say it's only missing wifi. The location is ideal, just a few minutes walk from the beautiful Hyams Beach. I would totally stay there again and recommend it!

Great place in ideal location
Nice place for a few couples in close proximity to the cafe and amazing white sand beaches. Nicely appointed house with everything you need. Could see the sunrise from the bedroom window which was a nice little bonus. Would highly recommend.

Starfish house is a lovely home within walking distance to beach.The bedrooms were spacious but unfortunately no ensuite.The living areas were very comfortable and modern .the only disappointment check in too late and check out too early, not even a 24 hour stay.Great to have ample parking for 4 cars .

Perfect Holiday House
Neat and tidy home perfect for travelling with young kids. The kitchen was well equipped and clean bed sheets and towels were also provided. The portacot provided also came in handy for my little one and made sleeping arrangements a lot easier. There was also a range of games provided as well as pay tv to keep us entertained during the rainy weather. My family loved waking up to the ocean view and being greated by the local birds each morning. The house is walking distance from Hyams Beach as well as Hyams Beach local cafe. Perfect location, perfect view, perfect home away from home.
