The property was clean and had everything we needed. Bed was comfortable and the community was safe and quiet. Shawn was very helpful with must see attractions. The guide and map were useful. Highly recommend!

The condo had everything we needed, a very nice pool and a short walk to the beautiful beach! The owner was very helpful including sending us lots of information about Jaco before we even arrived, so we could plan our stay. Great stay!

The condo had all the kitchen items you could need for a couple nights stay the bed so far has been the most comfortable bed we have slept on in Costa Rica. Great location for easily walking to beautiful Jaco beach, hike to El Miro, multiple restaurants with delicious food and Shawn was great giving us detailed ideas of what to do and eat would definitely stay again !

We booked over a month before our trip. From the start, this experience was excellent. Shawn was easy to reach regarding questions or concerns. The property is immaculate and in an excellent location for spending time in Jaco. Shawn also provides a very detailed email on recommendations: from getting to and from Jaco, to things to see and places to go. Please, if you choose this property, follow Shawn’s recommendations. I used my visa Avion points to rent a car through Budget (not recommended). Don’t use your points, use Shawns recommendations. To book an activity, go through Shawn. He is so connected and in tune with the town and the country, you will not go wrong. The apartment has everything you needed for a comfortable stay. We cooked our own breakfasts and lunches and were not scrambling for utensils, pans etc. The bed is very comfortable, the towels large and fluffy. There are even coolers you can take to the beach which is one block away. The pools are very nice, you’re on the main strip not it is very quiet there. Security guards very welcoming and professional. The market and bakery right there. The cost of this beautiful apartment is very reasonable and an excellent deal across the board. Thank you again for a great experience in Costa Rica Shawn. It really was the trip of a lifetime.

It is conveniently located on Main Street and gated. Mr. Fletcher will assist with anything you need and information on best places to visit or eat. Condo was extremely clean, the only negative is that someone went overboard with the pesticide. Other than that we had a great time.

The condo was super cute and very clean. It was easy access to everything and Shawn was amazing. He gave us the insight to places to go, eat and do while we were there.

Loved this place! It's nestled in a gated property right off the main strip in Jaco. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to in town. Shawn was very helpful. He met us the day we checked in and gave us some pointers on where to visit and eat (and places to avoid). We will be staying here again next time we come to Jaco!

The place was Beautiful, Cozy and has Everything you need. It was gated and safe. You were close to everything and Shawn went through where to eat, what to do and more. If you need activities he can set them up for you too. One of the friendliest places you could ask for. Going to Jaco, then look no further. Highly Recommended.

The property was nicely remodeled, clean and was in a great location; close to the beach, shopping and restaurants. Minor issues with the internet connections and disappointed with the laundry situation in Jaco. Shawn did offer to put a load of laundry through his machines which was kind but we did not want to bother him. We had a great stay and would return another time. Thanks Shawn for your help to make our first visit to Jaco a wonderful experience.

Our three week stay in Jaco was perfect thanks to Shawn who did an excellent job of remodeling this beautiful condo. It had everything we needed. We were able to alternate between eating in and out. The kitchen was very well stocked as was the bathroom with very plush towels and extra beach towels. The complex has easy access to the beach and is close to a mid-sized supermarket, many excellent restaurants and a fantastic bakery for coffee, breakfast or lunch. Shawn met us and personally provided us with a map showing us the location of the best hot spots in town. We were easily able to arrange tours in Herradura Beach and Manuel Antonio Park from Jaco. This unit has a shaded patio, perfect for sitting out to read. The complex has several pools kept at comfortable temperatures. Some are for very young children while others suit adults. The security staff are very friendly. We would not hesitate to recommend Shawn's unit to anyone wishing to rent it and would definitely stay there again.

My son and I just spent 5 days in Jaco for a father and son birthday / bonding trip. We had the most amazing time. The accommodations were incredible. The location was perfect. And the owner gave us such personal and excellent tips. We just followed his recommendations and had an incredible experience. We already want to rebook for next year and we want to bring the whole family. Thank you for everything.

Our stay at Shawn’s condo in Jaco was the perfect way to spend a long weekend in a fun beach town. The condo itself is updated, clean, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The air-conditioning was cold, the Wi-Fi worked well, and ample space to sprawl out for two of us. We rented a car at the airport, and parking was a breeze at the condo. The location is ideal, as there is a nice pool and hot tubs within the condo compound itself. Just beyond the gates, there is a grocery, café, local soda/bar, and a block away is JACO BEACH. Shawn was always accessible and just an email or phone call away. His recommendations for local attractions were all spot on and helped us pack as much fun into our trip as possible. Plenty of hiking and exploring can be done without the use of a vehicle, but a quick hour drive away takes you to the scenic (read: full of monkeys and sloths!) Manuel Antonio National Park. The bars and restaurants of Jaco offer something for everyone. We were able to find breakfast, lunch, and dinner spots at every price-point easily with Shawn’s map. Every single person we encountered on our trip was so friendly and welcoming to us as tourists, even with our very limited knowledge of Spanish. We would definitely return and would definitely stay longer!

We loved staying at Mango 16! The condo is exactly how the pictures show it. Spotless and comfortable! Shawn was an amazing host, he was super friendly and gave us a ton of information about what to do and where to eat in Jaco! The condo was stocked with everything you need; dishes, spices, pots, pans, towels, extra blankets and pillows, soap and shampoo. The air conditioners work great and we even had the luxuries of smart tvs, with netflix and casting from our phones when we wanted to listen to music! The wifi worked with no problems. We loved being right across the street from the beach and walked down to watch the sunset every night. The location was perfect. Close to everything, a great little bakery around the corner for breakfast, a grocery store right outside the condos for basic stuff (beer!) and a 24 hour soda for late night eats! Shawn's place is really top notch. In the pictures it looks great, but even better in person. This unit is spacious, modern and super clean. I felt like I was staying in a brand new home. Bed, Wifi, and cable TV were great. the location is perfect walking distance to the main strip in Jaco. It has everything you need, a true home away from home. Shawn was very accommodating and a great host. I loved my stay at Shawn's place in Costa Rica and most certainly will be back in the future. Thanks again Shawn, Pura Vida!

This condo was seriously perfect. I’ve frequented Jaco MANY times…stayed at a number of different places, and this was BY FAR the best. I could go on and on raving about how great this place was…but I will try to keep it concise in regards to Condo Amenities, Location, and what I would call ‘extras.’ For the condo itself, AC in both the main living room and bedroom (THIS IS A WONDERFUL TREAT). I was SO pleasantly surprised that the kitchen was STOCKED…I mean has everything from coffee grinder to colander, to any pots/pans you could want. EXCELLENT use of space in the entire place and definitely a plus to have full size microwave, oven/stove, and fridge. While I LOVE taking advantage of all the great restaurants/bars in the area….definitely nice to have the option to whip up a drink/meal when I wanted. Also, the bed and PILLOWS are COMFORTABLE. Towels are fluffy…I know these are small details, but for me it makes a big difference in terms of feeling ‘at home.’ There’s a really nice pool in the middle of the complex with what looked like a nice Jacuzzi. I prefer the beach, but it did look like a very nice and clean pool to relax. Location. WOW. Yes, you COULD dish out HUNDREDS of dollars for an oceanfront condo…it gets pricey in Jaco, but it really would not be worth it. I thought that’s what I wanted at first, too. However, once you realize that you can literally walk less than a football field away to the beach and take a nice stroll…it does not make sense. With this condo, it is a SECURE and GATED place..the guards really do check every time so I NEVER felt unsafe. My favorite restaurant in ALL of jaco is right across the street…along with many others. In Jaco, there are lots of party places. In this condo…you are close enough to stroll to the bars/clubs to partake if you wish, but within the condo complex, you hear NOTHING, only the birds chirping. This is important in Jaco, as I’ve had friends staying in other places complain that they were kept up till 3 am by the parties. Now, for the ‘extras.’ I’m a people person. I’m a customer service person. The property owner, Shawn, is a great host. While I am very familiar with Jaco, he still took the time to talk to me and walk me through some new things while giving recommendations on some awesome restaurants! His info packet is all-inclusive as well, so even if you are a first-timer in Jaco…you will be in good shape. Bottom line. Great value. Wouldn’t change a thing. Stay here.

Location - Gated community with a security guard 24 hours a day. Walking distance to everything you'd want/need including a grocery store at the corner and a bakery less than one block away. Walk across the street to the beach or a half a mile to the best coffee you've ever had. Condo - Very clean and modern with a full kitchen, two TVs, a single bedroom which can be closed off, a couch which can become a bed, and a nice shower/bathroom. Owner - Shawn was very friendly and helpful with a plethora of recommendations. He made check-in/out a breeze and was very knowledgeable of the area. Recommendations - Cafe Bohio for the best coffee you'll ever have. Venture over to Playa Hermosa for a less crowded/developed beach and try Bowie's Point on the beach for drinks/lunch. Hike up to the abandoned resort which overlooks the city/beach for beautiful views across the street from the gas station at 34/Calle Madrigal. Overall, terrific place to stay when visiting Jaco Beach with a great owner who happily provides restaurant/activity/etc. recommendations. You won't be disappointed!
